Are they ever going to do something about that or are we all just playing quest simulator now and not actually playing the game anymore? everyone talking about throwing knives buff can stfu. First time lights get a somewhat decent weapon and you lot start complaining because you cant get a free kill against them.

Embark people don't know how to balance anything. It seems like they bought the game from another company because the game is good and fun, but the EXTREME IMBALANCE in it makes no sense... Especially if you play as Light because, LITERALLY, ALMOST ANYTHING can one-shot you; it's ridiculous... And if it doesn't kill you outright, it leaves you in such bad shape that you can only run and hide.
Both Medium and Heavy have more health and more DPS than Light, so what's the point of playing Light? None... That's why almost no one plays it, and even less in Ranked. It's only played when something is mega OP, like now when there are a lot of Lights with throwing knives, and even then they can only kill other Lights because it's such a mediocre weapon that against Medium or Heavy you're dead anyway...
Last week they changed the taser too... Now I tase a Heavy and he charges at me, uses an RPG or a shield, and I can't do anything against him... CONGRATULATIONS, EMBARK! Another great job of balancing XD

Still think the throwing knives buff is overdone. I can see that throwing knives was designed as a marksman with the fire rate between sniper and LH1. You can 4 shot a medium and 3 shot a light, this is what it is supposed to be. But did you forget its no ads strafe speed and accuracy? And with this firerate it's just spamming. Or perhaps devs just want to buff the weapons for fun to make an "op" weapon once in a while...... (Bruh it's just lazy......)
One small titbit here... Heavys' LMGs don't kill the fastest out of all classes, Lights' weapons are still faster if we're talking about weapons' DPS.

Great work on the APS nerf, I run APS on every med build I have and even I thought it was overpowered, I thought the nerf was too strong from the patch notes but after playing some quick cash and power shift matches I actually think it's well balanced.

The latest patch introduced a nasty bug on controller that removes the option to map a button to just 'Equip Weapon' instead of 'Interact and Equip Weapon' when using 'Directional Equipping'.
That's a real controller nerf in ranked especially since it will mean accidentally interacting with stuff when meaning to equip your weapon - which can and will be the difference between life and death sometimes, so please please please revert this.
And while you're at it: please reinstate using 'Equip Weapon' as a reload cancel as it used to be in Season 1, since reload cancelling using a gadget/specialization can be very inconsistent because the gadget/specialization can be on cooldown.
You're forced to look around to properly equip your weapon now. This is insanely clunky and I'm unable to play until this is fixed.

@twin heart DPS alone isn't meaningful. You need to compare TTK over all classes and it's huge. Heavy kills Light twice as fast!

the quickplay character model shows them holding a bow staff but there is no bow staff in the game...
tbh as a heavy main I would say the opposite change on charge and slam, less distance, in the beginning/start of the charge does more damage and does less than current damage by the end of it, also the slam feature being damage nerfed quite a bit in the beginning would be good but after falling a while both distance and damage would be increased, also I think somthing fun would be after slamming through a floor the damage is reduced by 70% (distance stays the same) and then does a hit on the ground below the floor it broke (second slam canât break the floor)

There an issue with not being able to track objectives
Fix your rank system (full diamond 2 and 3 lobby, my team was plat2, plat 1, d4). Lost 3 arrows â¤ď¸ The same amount i lose if i win the first round and lose the second in plat lobby. I keep being amazed by the fact you have the worst ranking system ever. Honestly this is quite impressive. AND IT GETS EVEN BETTER AHAHAH; Just got a game in plat lobby lost frist round, i lost 2 arrows. I swear this is so inconsistant STOP SMOKING CRACK EMBARK

Agreed that ranked shouldn't be a tournament, but the rest is loser mentality. It's an established strategy in this game to go for late steals, so I'd suggest getting with the program rather than expecting the devs to make everything fair

Seconded. Everyone saying it needs buffing are probably just those annoying people that go around farming kills instead of playing for the objective of the mode.
And all symbols will appear at the same time and flash red for no reason, but sometimes they don't appear and the performance is still the same

Something has to be done about people ignoring the game entirely to hammer buildings for the destruction challenge. It ruins the game and it's happened 3+ times in my last 10 is power shifts. They literally finish with 0 across the board. It's stupid anyway b/c you would get that done passively if you just play the game and did the other challenges....

Just had a ranked game where in the last 2 minutes after 2 cashouts finished no new vaults spawned, and though my team wouldve had a chance to continue the fight and get into the final round, the game killed our chances by bugging out.
Yeah the game is literally running on life support it feels like. I sometime get stuck in loading screens, crash consistently, spawn without bodies, and have the occasional no vault spawn. And it worked perfectly fine until the last update for me

Why are people freaking out over the knife buff? It's the first day, most people will go back to guns by tomorrow and probably won't even be playing light. Same thing happened when they buffed dagger.

Please continue with the trend of buffing weak things. Throwing Knives buff, the hidden melee buff with multi-hitting, and the indirect buff to grenade launchers with the APS nerf, are all great changes đ.
APS should probably block more than 3 projectiles, though. Feels too limited otherwise.
I think that charge and slam is too powerful, it can be an instant 130 damage, essentially a second rpg, but you can even hit enemies multiple times with it.
I believe its focus should primarily be on being able to cause destruction, not deal damage. I think its damage should be reduced to 70.
Nerf the turret so it has a limited amount of ammo and has to reload like any other gun

Also add healing bombs. Replace turret with a manual turret instead of a automatic one. Make it so you have to turn off cloak before you can do anything else like shooting. Replace the stun gun with a aps type gadget that stuns people like before the nerf if youâre in its circle. Make it so you can cancel a defib revive by shooting the silhouette it makes and make glitch grenades cancel it too. Allow lights to steal cash outs faster and have faster regen.
Lower rpg damage to 75, lower the cooldown, and increase the splash range. Make it an item for destroying the map not the other teams

Day 75 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, youâre probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

the MGL was some1 else i think...? fair enough for most of it. Its pretty much tied with heavy for dps tho. I agree with all the points; mesh shield being cheesy in fight, heal beam is annoying while fighting, etc. I just thought the way that was said is a bit too far... i dont wanna see another stun gun nerf (._.)

If a charged sword strike from a Light did â 466 damage to them (which is what a hammer strike does to a Light, 133% of their total health... ONESHOT!)
If a C4 charge from a Light did â 361 damage to them (which is what a C4 charge from a Heavy does to a Light, 103% of their total health... ONESHOT!)
If a mine from a Medium did â 315 damage to them (which is what a mine does to a Light, 90% of their total health... ALMOST ONESHOT!)
If a grenade from a Light did â 348 damage to them (which is what a grenade does to a Light, 99% of their total health... ALMOST ONESHOT!)
If a Stun Gun from a Light did â 327 damage to them (which is what an RPG from a Heavy does to a Light, 94% of their total health... ALMOST ONESHOT!)

You would be CRYING day and night, 24/7 here in the official Discord... yet I don't see you asking for justice for Light, to balance it once and for all and make it the DPS it should have always been.
Light should be a Glass Cannon, a Class with HIGH RISK but HIGH REWARD, not just high risk...
And many may wonder: So... if Light dies so easily, it must deal a lot of damage, right? Surprise... itâs the Class with the LEAST DPS in the whole game...

So for my first match, I was playing and there was a exploiter using the front dagger stabbing ppls, it is sicking and tiring to play aginast that (Didn't get SS of that since i was focus on the game) but the second game, 2 of the 3 teamates where using the throwing knives exploits. Lost_seer and Telesnow (maybe) was just going at it with the throwing knives, instant throwing and killing ppls with it. its so bs and it needs to get fix

If they have a grid-pattern globe icon next to their name on the scoreboard that means they are playing on a platform thatâs not steam, so most likely console. Idk if youâve noticed that but if you have thatâs what it means. Unless youâre saying youâve never played with players with that icon in which case ur right.
anti gravity cube is mostly useless IMO; very few good use cases for it. Idea: Allow it to stick to walls and push "outward" from the wall. Would make for interesting plays with the cashouts
Can we please get a setting to turn the crowd volume down?? If not to off then at least have different volume settings like "Low", "Medium", and "Normal". The crowd volume is just a part of SFX settings and there's been too many occasions where I can't hear my friends in Discord (their volume is at 150% already) or anything else going in the game really.

I really like the idea of REMOVING THE STUN GUN and adding a KNOCK BACK GUN instead, however it still stuns them when they get knocked back for a second. stun gun shouldve just been reworked to be a single target glitch ability that lasts like 10-12s (and maybe still kicks somebody off of a steal) without the movement penalty, it would be significantly more useful than it is now

Please make it so gained cash appears in the hud and isn't just inplied in the total sum of the team, make it clear how much cash you get with each action in cashout/tournament, you already did this with scores.
Also, please add the ability to host private tournaments, the game needs these since launch.
I (and many others, I suspect) would greatly appreciate an option to fire semi-automatic weapons repeatedly by holding the mouse button. The main reason for this is for preventing repetitive stress injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome. For example, I personally enjoy the V9S pistol on light, however for my own health I must not use it because the rapid clicking required causes growing discomfort and weakness in my index finger, eventually requiring me to take a long break from playing so I can recover.
This dovetails into another point, which is providing a level playing field for players. There are some who may be unable to click very fast due to disability or injury, as mentioned before. Allowing the weapons to be fired at the maximum rate by holding the mouse button would make the required controller input much less physically demanding, thereby equalizing players' ability to deal damage by removing an unnecessary execution barrier. As a small side benefit, comparing and balancing these guns may also be slightly easier since their effective DPS could be easily calculated.
I would be grateful if others boosted this post, since I feel this is an important concession and would very much like Embark to see it.

Throwing knives needed a buff, but not THIS much. On a weapon which I previously literally could not play (because I sucked at aiming, that was my own fault) I can now literally cause teamwipes without the enemy team being able to sufficiently stop me.

@queen cloud first person shooter and the game has goo grenade? many melee weapons etc.. i dont think first person shooter is exclusive to guns, rather any game where you can fire projectiles(hitscan or not) and is first person can be called fps?
first person shooter doesnt have strict lines and boundaries, games such as every other fps game that has weapons which arent guns are an example.
and yeah all the hitscan guns are still better than any projectile, as the hitscan weapons have faster ttk and require no leading shots.
ALSO the throwing knives left click are have random spread whilst in the air - whereas every other weapon still goes perfectly to the straight of your screen whilst in the air.
PLUS i was using throwing knives a lot before this patch, and they still feel very similar and everyone is only freaking out about it cos people are using the weapon for more than 1 match before writing them off as useless (cos they are shit at leading shots)
truth is, throwing knives are still mostly trash compared to almost every other weapon.
thats why i dont think theyre going to get nerfed.
also embark does have the stats and it must have showed that throwing knives were MASSIVELY underperforming.

Probably right about nerfs being to much, but if they are buffed in other ways it would keep them viable but not usable to cheese. E.g. dome having more hp, healing beam heals faster at max or has more capacity etc.
With the stun gun, it did need a nerf. Ik light was underpowered and still is, but light should be viable for other things like increased damage or stronger gadgets not a free kill on a cooldown.

Fix charge slam you shouldnt be able to stack it that many times also should lower the damage a little you shouldnt be able to eliminate a heavy with that aloneđ
lower the amount of time it takes to go from an emote to the normal idle position. I noticed it takes me up to a full 2 seconds or so for the emote to actually end which would just get me killed, and is also very boring to look at.
Light is an insta gib class which feels horrid to play as and against + is the reason itâs useless in Ranked where coordination exists.
You either die instantly as Light or kill someone insanely fast. It will never be viable nor fun in this state.
Global damage reductions are desperately needed. No more gadgets doing 93% of a healthbar (RPG). No more nades with zero indicator leaving you at 1HP. No more endless gas, fire, turret, mines with no sound death zones. No more weapons on every class that shred at a ridiculous rate (especially auto weapons).
Also 10s is ridiculously long for health regen to begin. I suggest Light: 5s, Medium: 5.5s, Heavy: 6s

manual turret is questionable if player needs to control it because turret doesn't have the highest dps and limited range so at that point it would be better off to run any gun
Do you want the game to he broken again bud, just revert the stun gun don't make a turret that would be pointless, the point of the not instant revive from a defib is so you can see the person spawning and shoot them once they are alive your RPG idea us good the manual turret doesn't make sense it would be too difficult to use it think it's better if they make it so it has to cool down after shooting a certain amount of bullets and a longer lock on time cos it currently insta locks, invis is nerfed to the ground right now to the point where it's just as easy to see someone that's invisible as it is to see someone that isn't and having one class be able to steal cashouts faster is unfair as the game would become unbalanced. 2 charges on grapple or something similar to that would be good too maybe even a faster cooldown timer

The 4 teams part of it feels a bit shitty when you technically do everything right, but timed slightly wrong, or lose because you all have 100hp.
Not sure what other competitive mode out there has 4 teams, and while it's alright for cash out, for the core competitive part of the game I don't really think it's the best implementation..
I'd suggest something like 8 teams 3v3, 4 legs, so everyone plays everyone, and the teams that bank the most cash over the 4 legs go through, and this would encourage more action and less tactically wasting time with a vault etc.

Weapon Swapping is broken after the most recent update
The Triangle/Y button on console used to swap to your primary weapon while using a gadget. (I.e when you throw one of two grenades and then press Triangle/Y to start shooting) Now you throw one grenade and press Triangle and nothing happens, you have to manually re-equip your weapon instead of being able to swap to it with a single button. THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE FOR CONSOLE PLAYERS PLEASE FIX đ
APS is ruined now. I think just having it start it's cooldown timer when the APS is destroyed or picked up (the previous ways) would be a much better remedy. That way defeating it would reward skilled/experienced players and still defend dominantly against people who don't understand it yet. As it was the device was very easy to destroy, now you don't have to think at all. It's really sad because I really thought the APS was the most balanced thing after using it for many, many hours.
Also, it's really frustrating that we can't track contracts.

"Most balanced thing?" Bro, the thing deletes all mines on or around a Cashout Station INSTANTLY and THROUGH WALLS. People plop that thing down in the middle of losing a fight to a grenade launcher, and suddenly, they're invincible. I would have preferred them to just give the APS Turret some windup time like the Guardian Turret, but the change they went with still allows for more counterplay at least.

Circuit contracts are repetitive to a degree where it's no longer fun to complete them. Damage with grenades feels like it's in literally everything. In fact, contracts that happened in one stage are issued AGAIN in the next stage. Come on, devs. Do something other than copy and pasting the contracts.
I wonder why there are 4 teams in the standings and often one team can advance without having to fight and the other team has to take the crazy attacks from both teams? And this starting point for the resurrection is just stupid

Defib is still one of the strongest abilities and needs to have more counters. I donât disagree with your suggestions for the turret I just donât like having a hitscan ai in a pvp game and think a manual turret would be more fun, but your ideas would be welcomed. I donât think having lights steal faster would be unbalanced at all. It would just make lights more useful. Theyâre supposed to be the fast class but they do everything as slow as the other classes. How exactly would it be unbalanced?

I hated APS Turret but i guess it was nerfed way too much
I believe that instead of 3 it should shoot down 4-5 projectiles before self-destruction and have a bit more HP to survive bullets better -
Slam should be nerfed or reworked, first hit should deal 80-100 damage, all the next hits 40-60 damage, CD should be increased a little bit
Maybe it should add some minor debuff for a few seconds or throw targets away at bigger distances

Revolver is a very skill-based weapon but it takes 3 shots (without headshots) to kill Light and with CL-40 u just need to land 2 shots close to Light. Unfair
tweak the medium grenade launcher. add 10% more aoe and nerf damage by 25%. its ridiculous how strong it is if you dont have a heavy up your ass to protect you. a bronze player can use it and get 20 kills just by clicking LMB.
Diamond throwing knife user here: I think the buffs were overdone. TK was already pretty good in certain circumstances. The faster proj time combined with lower delay on fire has made the weapon practically hitscan. The fun of using a slow proj weapon is kinda gone now, it was one of the main reasons I used TK in the first place. I don't think this weapon should ever be good enough to be a meta weapon. It should be niche and fun and effective for skilled users. The right click had limited uses before, and now it really feels like right click is many times not worth touching. I suggest rolling back the changes, or at least some of them, and put some power into the right click. Either a shorter windup or the ability to hold and release (for a limited time) keep up the good work though embark. This game is really special

Im also a Diamond player with Throwing Knives, not my main but I played it as my 2nd, and I understand the part of the slow weapon being cool, but the weapon was not rewarding at all, it had the slowest TTK on the game even being the hardest one to use, if both shoot at the same time, you will be death always, its not a matter of how good you were, a weapon that requires the enemy to do a mistake is never a good one, you could not stay on enemy sight cuz you will always gonna lose if the enemy doesn't miss, going from behind or out of sight to get kills it was not his place cuz any other light weapon can to the same with better results, dagger its literally the weapon you want if you are gonna do that
The weapon was only a niche and fun, which is okay (like dagger for example), but at the end, dagger has a reward for your skill, you can be tryhard and get rewarded, TK was not rewarding at all like dagger, it was just a hard weapon than was also a weak one, maybe the speed its too much? yeah, maybe, I would liked more damage instead of speed, like x2 headshot (instead of the x1.5 it has now) and the 63 damage it has now, but, even as it is now, its not overdone, its not even a meta, its just not a bad weapon anymore, at the end, all the automatic weapons are still stronger, it could have another aproach? maybe, we should return to the old one? no
@deep mantleThe thing is, those are were not really better than other weapons, its ttk was not one of the fastest, it was one of the slowest in the entire game, peak fighting was not that bad, but to shoot both shots of the primary you needed like half a second, most weapons can melt light in less than a second, so those 120 dmg were not worth, the only good things was being able to walk and shoot without aiming and the lack of reload but... being able to walk is just good cuz you can make the enemy miss (and thats not gonna work on high elo) and if you don't need to reload is okay but the firespeed was bad enough
There could be some crowd heard cheering in the menu, they get quiet and start cheering again whenever anything in the lobby is clicked, is that intentional or a bug? lol
As of the recent patch, the performance dropped significantly for me and seemingly many other people. I tried a lot and ended up just using -dxd11 as a launch option in steam and that helped a lot with the lag and stuttering. -dxd11 used to be terrible for me. I'd say the performance is on par, if not better than pre-patch without it (so, with directx12). Additionally, Nvidia Image Scaling (NiS) didn't work mostly, but -dxd11 also fixxed that. I see what you're saying, but I think you discount all of the things throwing knives do better than any other weapon in the game. The ability to peak cover is stronger than any other weapon. You only have to peak for half a second and can get off double the damage of an assault rifle doing the same thing. Hitting an engagement shot with a right click secures a kill 90% of the time. Infinite uptime with a ranged weapon is also insanely powerful in team fight scenarios. It's dash synergy is also the best in the game being able to dash in between shots. One of the fastest light ttks in the game. Pre firing corners, etc. When used to its strengths, it had just as good potential, if not better than other weapons at mid-close range. The only thing it lacked was good long range. Hence why I think buffing right-click would have better rounded out the weaknesses of the weapon, instead of just dumbing down the skill required for its strengths

-Sword animation cancel exploit still being abused making its extremely unplayable
-Remove Dagger or at least fix it, no weapon should be able to one shot kill any class (the leaving the heavy low health is a joke because there isnt much to do when they can still quickly elbow jab you). another thing about the dagger is that what considers a backstab is insane. I seen so many light main posting clips of them getting BS backstabs when it was either infront of their face or their arm

Looking at the dagger player is probably a pretty good counter. dash is not instant and trackable. You don't even need to shoot them, just look at them till they're out of dashes. I don't play dagger because I'm too ass at it

I just want to play the game with fun and not go through problems like this and waste time on snipers when I can get to the front line and actually have fun. I really don't mind losing if it was actually a fun and interesting game. Being constantly in the threat of snipers and lights instantly kills the diversity of gadgets and classes because you are forced to use setups made to prevent yourself from being sniped every game.
Now it can be a skill issue but if you have to go through stuff like that all the time just so you don't get sniped across the map and actually have a normal experience of the game, that's the proof that it's a problem.

Lower rpgs damage to around 50-70 and give it two shots. Give a delay to mesh shield so you canât open it instantly. Replace the healing beam with a healing circle that you place down like the aps. Also add healing bombs. Replace turret with a manual turret instead of a automatic one. Make it so you have to turn off cloak before you can do anything else like shooting. Replace the stun gun with a aps type gadget that stuns people like before the nerf if youâre in its circle. Make it so you can cancel a defib revive by shooting the silhouette it makes and make glitch grenades cancel it too. Allow lights to steal cash outs faster and have faster regen. Make the grapple better too.

It absolutely is not. Kills way too fast compared to every other weapon. You get destroyed before you get a chance to do anything. Maybe im biased because I use sword, but something is definitely wrong when EVERY LIGHT in queue is using these things.

You have 93r, you have lewis, you even have dino mask. But how can you forget the legendary XM8 across Battlefield franchise???
Now medium can use a close quarters SMG like weapon. Higher dps but lower damage per mag. Let me be straight just copy the M2 carbine in Battlefield V. Make an XM8 carbine or pdw(although I just want xm8 ar but fcar is already there) which has 800-1000rpm, below 400dmg per mag, and lower recoil.
@tame quest Left red one is pack loss. If you have this you would teleport, basicly your data sent to the server is partially lost. The right one is server not performing/responding well.
The game is unplayable for half the people that tried it my guy. The performance gets worse everytime they touch the game. There is something super weird about how they mesh the servers and the games. The servers and desync are a joke half the time.

I honestly would love to see some gun model, character model and cosmetic drops on the steam community SFM pages so that people can use the assets from the game to create cosmetics, make SFM animations as well as be able to create concept gun and utlity skin designs.
I feel like the SFM scene has been vastly responsible in helping TF2 (#FixTF2 btw) stay afloat by having the community create so much content, way beyond Valve's support. Idk what are the conditions on the side of Embark in allowing their assets to be available, but I would love to see some fan films and animations that go beyond stuff that is able to be made during a practice game.
When it comes to the maps, I think it is a fair point that SFM would literally melt the CPU of whoever would wanna make custom animations on the maps, so maybe just porting a solid version of the maps would work fine.
Overall, just been having an absolute blast on the finals and really would love to create some content for the game that goes beyond sketched ideas. I were originally working on some TF2 + CS2 content in blender, but as my interests shifted to the finals, would love to run this high off and make some dope content for the game.

This because sometimes you** want to make changes on your loadouts** to fight well against the others and since your allies revive you when you decided to respawn with other weapon, class, or gadget you are forced to keep up with the same loadout. Also we can save our time when you try to revive someone and that person just click the respawn button, they just** wasting the others time.**

THROWING KNIVES IS NOW OP??... Fast answer, no, ITS NOT OP, how is op? most of the people say its because now it "melts"... well... lets compare that with other weapons (and please have in mind than this is also a projectile based weapon, which is also way harder to use than all the other weapons)
And even with the buffs.... its not even the fastest weapon, its really good ngl but its still no match for any of the real meta automatic weapons (that are also not projectile based of course) not only cuz those are a lil bit faster but also cuz its on the light class so that gets melted twice as fast as Heavy and those work on long distance
Again... how is this OP? Its harder to use than the automatic weapons, it has short range, projectile based and its still doesnt melt as fast as some of the other weapons, even some of them on the same class
@hollow valve Oh yea, you don't need to ads and you can dash... you also has half the HP, Heavy also has RPG, C&S, Medium has an automatic turret that doesn't fail single shot, Light can use dash combo with any weapon, not just TK, aim assist also helps the automatic weapons to not fail any shot to the light...
In short, it has a balanced TTK, you can move faster yeah, but you also has a harder weapon to use and not just a hitscan automatic weapon, that's whats called balance, better mobility but no hitscan and its affected by gravity (and lets not forget that moving faster doesnt matter that much in high elos where people just arent gonna miss cuz you are moving at walking speed while shooting)

You forget the no ads needed and dash combo. Only roller with 0.6 aim assist can land all your shots.
In short, it is op if you just adad. Pure ttk comparison is pointless when talking about real combat.

played quick cash and powershift a bit (after a long hiatus) to complete challenges then went back to ranked. ranked is such a worse experience in terms of performance of the game and time spent not fighting. lots of input latency and lag in comparison. just feels horrible
you have a cashout theme for just about every game mode. maybe when you have events you can do something else. having the cashout or at least the grating alarm sound across all of your modes is very fatiguing. I think you should get rid of the 4v4 mode with limited respawns, idk you probably have done the numbers but I think it splits the playerbase and makes each mode empty
I can see why casuals get bored quickly with the tournaments if they are coming from other games. too long on respawn timer and when you do respawn it is too punishing when the game is on the line because of the impossible distance. maybe teams could get like a limited number of quick travels (like tokens) for the whole tourney to combat this
Aps can block two rpgs and a nade now wouldn't say it's bad, if you have 2 mediums that's 6 projectiles

This update more or less ruined PowerShift and made APS useless in every single game mode now, just because there was APS spam on the Power Shift platform. Guys, what are you doing in your balancing meetings? Just picking ideas and numbers out of a hat?
I don't think it's the end of the world for the APS in other game modes, since on average they don't block all that many projectiles before being destroyed by some other means. You will get screwed over hard by people using grenade launchers though.

please consider limiting the amount of one class/weapon. Every match is plauged by lights with swords. 4 in 1 game recently. This is not enjoyable, not chalenging, every effort is squagshed by a sword, and its gettinng old now. You cant handle 4 swords, its not possible. Same with ppl stacking medium and healing, or heavies and just smashing everything and cahrging everyone, this shouldnt occure, its not fun ---- ive just joined another match, 6 light enemies. its too much. All that happens is we get the vault or run half way across the map to a cash out, maybe kill a few enemies, but will be shut down by a light every time, guaranteed. They wait invisi, u run past and then stun, ur throwing knived or ur sworded or ur one shot kiled its just discouraging. 6 in one match, its just ridiculous, you have given way too much to this class and the fact there is so many abusing it, shud highlight the fact its abusable, easy win? go lights. Its not correct for a game, it shud be more balanced and depend on awareness and aiming ability, not waiting invisi and stabing someone in the back...the fact that lighht is popular doesnt mean its good, it could mean its easy to use, easy to use is fun for a little, but it doesnt last long. Ppl will get bored of it. By then maybe the players who enjoyed the shooting mechanica moved on too.
Aps can still cheese close range 1v1's because it instantly deletes projectiles upon placement but the change we got is still nice because we now get to do something

They should add a Stealing Tick Gadget for Light. The gadget will begin to steal a cashout but it will take twice as long as the original stealing duration is 6 seconds long. It can be easily destroyed and will make a distinct sound when activated. It can be deactivated by glitch nades, mines, stun guns, and can be easily destroyed. When it is thrown and comes into direct contact with an enemy it will pulse once like a sonar grenade and die. What do you guys think?

Only Problem would be that people could use it agressivly, and instead of using it to put pressure in a offensive way, use it to attack.
For example, 2 heavies, 2 dom shields barricades, Lights puts the device and runs off while the heavies protect against the enemies, meanwhile, Light goes sneaky and attack from behind.
So i don't know if that'd be really fair but it's still a great, unique ideia
How to fix game for season 3:
Balance game around guns, increase skill gap and nerf all the cheese that requires no aim/skill.
Nerf heavy, cl40, flametrower, lewis/m60, fix animation cancel exploits/phantom strike.
Throwing knives with phantom strike exploit are OP as fak. Same with sword + animation cancel. Anything that's not a regular gun should be weaker and a meme/situational.

Hovering over an aps turret is such a boring way to play. Iâm a medium main aswell the game is unfun for me bc the medium class as a whole just isnât fun anymore. The fcar has more recoil, lower fire rate, lower magazine size, and very similar damage to the akm. The only thing worth using on medium in a competitive scene is the akm. Not sure why they like to create and destroy metas when a 5-10% variation in stats to weapons would make them fall in line with each other fairly evenly.

The **charge **should be reworked to do damage based on distance traveled. Maybe do 40dmg at the start and 150 at the end. Same as the jumping one, but maybe stronger. So, in that way, the destroy utility is intact, but to do damage requires a bit of skill and thinking. You could use the charge from the crane to make a "physical nuke", for example, or from a jumpad with a low gravity event. But doing it from a regular jumpad it should do like 100dmg or something like that. The pushing effect I think is fine right now.

You know the whole point of charge is to punish players who get too close to a heavy right? Removing damage all together will make it useless. And using it as an escape already isnât very useful considering you only go slightly faster and can be tracked easily. Even with damage reduction itâs very likely theyâll just follow you and finish you off while you charge

Weapings, For the charge, simply avoid it by jumping to the side. if you want a casual game go to CoD. learn to play before asking for nerfs.
the charge has an activation delay, and the character generally goes slightly to the right, I must have died 3 times from a charge in 300 hours of play. pay attention to the cry that the heavy lets out, and don't be stuck to a wall, aim for his head while he pushes you, he is vulnerable.

Lewis gun should have more range but significantly less damage/rof. Heavy shouldnât really have any great ranged options. This would create a very tangible difference between the Lewis and m60 while keeping both healthy for the game

Embark this is what i would do to balance out the game:
Light:
- Revert cloak activation cost
- Stun gun stops heavy from using rpg/mesh
- LH1 dmg reduced from 49 to 47. Since the silent recoil buff LH1 became a bit too strong.
- Fix sword exploits
Medium: - Revert APS nerf
- Revert AKM recoil to release patch (this should be the noob friendly ar)
- Revert FCAR to 25 dmg and 20 bullets (this should be the higher risk AR, right now it's just an akm with less ammo)
CL40 dmg reduced from 110 to 100. Self damage 2x - Healbeam overheats faster
**Heavy: **(This class needs a huge nerf) - RPG damage reduced from 140 to 100 OR make it two charges 60-80dmg each.
- Flamethrower dmg reduced by 10%.
- Lewis dmg reduced from 25 to 22
- M60 dmg reduced from 22 to 20
- Mesh shield now has a 5sec cooldown after you toggle it off.
Other changes: - Make grenades more visible / audible. There are many instances where grenades are not visible/audible.
- Explosive Mines can only be placed 4m or more apart. All mines have a 5sec activation delay.
- Movement reverted to patch 2.5.0. With patch 2.6.0/2.7.0 there are a lot of dead slides.
- Added option to disable AA completely. (TAAU too blurry, dlss even worse).
- Optimization!
- Revert console aimassist to where it was when it was first nerfed but remove snap assist from all guns. (It was silent buffed recently and it's WAY too strong)

throwing knifes are way over tuned. the projectile speed buff was alright but to also buff the damage at the same time? throwing knifes weren't even that bad to begin with they really didn't need this.
gois the spawn i think must be fixed. really we would focus on meta guns if we just had a exciting play through. basically with these new spawns you have to be dominating you're opponents and not dyeing. thats the reason why you have so many medium sweats as they're high survivability with the defib/heal. respawns now don't give you alot of chances, and are usually far away. if we decrease spawn times, spawned closer to objectives, and fixed the issue where you'll spawn all the way across even if the cash box is right by the vault then players will have more chances to kill the enemy team or steal the vault. i think that this fix should be first added to cassual then ranked modes, just in case ranked players get mad at people stealing the box at the very end. also make sunglasases and 3d glasses opaqe.

I was speaking for myself. I think sitting on top of an aps turret like itâs a toilet and shooting at people is just an odd and boring playstyle that doesnât require much brain activity.
Does anyone know what you actually have to do to breakthrough into Diamond? I have been Plat 1 for nearly a month. I will usually run 3-5 ranked games per day and itâs getting to the point where I win at least half of them, and almost always get at least to the second round. However now I get 3 fucking down arrows towards ELO unless I make it to the final round. Itâs getting to be REALLY frustrating.
BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here's some suggestions, I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- Increase swing speed (Honestly a lot issues would be solve with this, the weapon lacks a good ttk)
- Increase damage from 84 to 90
- Electrify the baton and give it a glitch effect, when you hit somebody they're glitched for 2,5 sec (This would give the shield so much utility and would help the team greatly, making it a viable options)
THE LATEST BUFF ISN'T WORKING:
- From your POV it does look like you're covering yourself faster, however after testing it with other people we can confirm that infact you don't block faster and you can't block between swings, you're constantly exposed
FIX THE FOV WHEN HOLDING THE SHIELD UP:
- Remove the fov zoom when you hold your shield up (it's very annoying that when you block the screen zooms in, either remove it or add the option to choose between affected or indipendent fov while aiming)
HOLDING THE DAGGER BACKSTAB:
- Make it so you can hold the backstab and it's not a forced animation, revert it like it was in the Open Beta
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many possibilities! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, on the other hand i've barely seen any Light using smoke, especially when they have better gadgets to choose from

If they did balancing changes rather than hard nerfs your statement would be relevant. If they wanted the throwing knives to be used more they couldâve done a lot less than buff them in every single category possible. The last cod I played was 2019 and I vividly remember creating the worst classes possible and going 20-0 in snd. With the crutches and instakills and overtweaked weapons in this game Itâs not all that viable. I agree with the attitude part but embark has to do a better job not gutting weapons or lifting other weapons well beyond what they should ever be.

Lower rpgs damage to around 50-70 and give it two shots. Give a delay to mesh shield so you canât open it instantly. Replace the healing beam with a healing circle that you place down like the aps. Also add healing bombs. Replace turret with a manual turret instead of a automatic one. Make it so you have to turn off cloak before you can do anything else like shooting. Replace the stun gun with a aps type gadget that stuns people like before the nerf if youâre in its circle. Make it so you can cancel a defib revive by shooting the silhouette it makes and make glitch grenades cancel it too. Allow lights to steal cash outs faster and have faster regen. Make the grapple better too.
I personally think that it would be a great idea if all items from former Battlepasses would still show the text "Reward in the season (x) Season"

What you want to do is take a leave of absence from work, donât shower, drink caffeine like an ospuze junkie, and donât speak to any women for the next 2 weeks... jk. I got it with 2 tourney wins and then a last round loss all in a row. If youâre solo queue you just gotta keep trying until you get lucky with a good team that sticks together and plays well. Donât even queue unless youâre on your A game though because you are 1/3 of the team. Take a 15 min break after every game or your brain will be fried and youâll never win back to back⌠and remember; no showers. Lol

Remove the stun gun completely and add a knock back gun instead that temporarily stuns them as they get knocked back. I think it would make for a better gadget overall and would essentially serve the same purpose when it comes to stopping cash out steals. Add a harpoon gun to the heavy, add a bubbling ability to the heavy, you can bubble your teammate from range, like zarya. Add a speed bomb to the heavy. Add stationary healing abilities that can't be destroyed: this would also help make the data reshaper better, also make the anti gravity cube unable to be destroyed, this would make the cube better and data reshaper better. Add a sticky situation live event, where everything is sticky and you can run on walls. Add a rewind ability to the light like tracer. Add a p90 to the heavy. add a gaunlet type weapon to the heavy, something like doomfist. Add a giant sniper to the heavy. Make the heavy grenade launcher explode on impact as soon as you hit someone.

Hey devs, since the last patch it happens regularly that I am stuck in the loading screen even when the game starts. Iâm playing on ps5 and had this issue already at beginning of S2 but never in the last weeks.
Seems to happen most of the time in power shift (canât really remember if it occurred in other modes too). Hope it gets fixed soon and I wish you good progress for developing S3.
The latest patch introduced a nasty bug on controller that removes the option to map a button to just 'Equip Weapon' instead of 'Interact and Equip Weapon' when using 'Directional Equipping'.
That's a real controller nerf in ranked especially since it will mean accidentally interacting with stuff when meaning to equip your weapon - which can and will be the difference between life and death sometimes, so please please please revert this.

They really need to make it to were if your teamates steal a cashout it counts toward your "Steal x amount of cashouts" challenge. Not to mention imo that's just an annoyingly difficult challenge in the first place. Although I try and play mainly for fun and haven't touched ranked in awhile.

leaving a match mid-game on a whim is the state of the game. bad fight? leave. teammate doesn't have the loadout you want? leave. it's incredibly frustrating and difficult to enjoy the game. it is the very worst part of the game.

the problem is entirely within Embark's ability to resolve. i've never seen a culture of spineless quitters go unmitigated for so long. harsher penalties for leaving a match mid-game in every mode with loss protection in ranked for those who remain would be incredibly simple to implement and would create an overall better experience for everyone.

You should be avoiding 2v1 scenarios in the first place. Besides that, the FCAR is still perfectly capable of killing people. You want it to be dominant, though, and that's not a reasonable expectation.
Embark fix the descartes demon headwear to allow face wear items when it is equip, and i agree with @Fab completely.

For example earlier I win 1v1, but since the weapon has such a long ttk now it makes me easier target when his buddy arrives. I can 2v1 with light and heavy easy, when it comes to medium that's a different story.

what i would suggest is since ELO gaining is tied to how much money your team cashed, getting to the final round of a tournament should be feeling more rewarding rather than having the "worst case we second" scenerio. With that said why not just augment the cashout limits to idk like 50k each?

Make meeles hit for example 2 enemies at most, but the second one gets reduced damage. And also make reshaper able to reshape mid air, for example when a red barrel is thrown, it could be a nice buff and another tech/mechanic to this gadget
I can't really pinpoint why, but S2 is wearing down my interest for the game, after 500+ hours spent playing since its release. I'm not convinced by the successive updates that rolled out throughout the season, and the overall feel of the game seems to have worsened significantly in comparison to S1. I think I'll be mostly off until S3.

Day 76 of me begging the devs to give heavy an M134 Minigun as a Specialization.
- 200 Round magazine, ammo is restored two bullets every second, 100 seconds for a full reload.
- 20 rounds per second, eleven damage a round, 220 DPS. No headshot modifier to keep DPS from becoming insane.
- Falloff begins at 30 meters down to six damage a shot at 50, but wide spread means the weapon becomes less effective past 10 meters even against larger targets, youâre probably not getting higher than 150 DPS even as far as 10 meters.
- bullets do high damage to structures (should be breaking walls in 20-50 shots) allowing a mid-range option to output mass destruction (destroying entire walls on higher floors of buildings, ripping apart nesting sightlines)

anyone else feel like the career circuits could be way more interesting to complete? a lot of them are stuff like "heal 2,500 health with a heal beam" and "deal 15,000 damage with a medium build" when there could at least be some fun stuff like "kill a contestant with an arena carriable" or "emote just before getting a kill" or "kill a contestant by throwing a mine directly on them" or "quick melee a full hp contestant" or "kill a contestant with the defibrillator" etc.

Why does the M1887 sometimes deal 160 damage up close (and sometimes even at a significant range)? I've seen it plenty of times but I can't imagine it's supposed to be a 1 shot kill weapon on lights?
According to most sources I can find the weapon shouldn't have a headshot multiplier and does a set 128 damage if it's a good hit.
All screenshots I've taken were from tonight and I'm 100% sure I've only been hit once on all occasions. Might this be some sort of hitreg bug like there used to be with the C4 during season 1. I remember sometimes 1 C4 would deal double damage when you got nuked by it.

The steal cashout challenge should track teammates doing it as well, it's bad enough trying to fight other teams and one person gets the credit. It's even worse when you expect players to get so many across all the challenges if you want all the rewards.

sooo, me and a guy that I found in game where playing ranked. but after playing some games we got in to a game where we hade zero teammate. he never join back and be never saw him in loading screen. but even being 2 people we still made it too the second game, but in second game we sadly lost it, and got 3rd. but this is the weird thing, when we lost I check how many rank arrows (or what you should call it) and I was down 3. most the times I will be up 1 or maybe lose 1. I think its bad that you lose more points without a 3rd teammate then if we actually got one

You guys should add the ability to save outfits. I love all the customization when it comes to how a contestant looks and I love making new outfits for them. I find that 6 slots just isnt enough lol. You should be able to save outfits so you can still have them if you want to change your current outfit. You should also be able to swap or copy/paste outfits to other contestants too. Its not a huge change but it would be a time saver and allow people like me to make a crap load of cool outfits lol. You could also do this for weapons and equipment but those are easier to do so not as big of a priority. Thank you!

I don't usually do this, but I can't help but be frustrated at the thought of Embark falling asleep. They have a good game but not enough aggressive communication about their games.
The trailer communication, which can be seen on youtube, is very well done and perfectly demonstrates the current game. These trailers can very easily be exported as ads on tiktok and instagram (or the equivalent for other countries such as China and Korea) as 30s video ads for these platforms, and also as 10s quick ads for the reels. This will enable Embark to adopt a more aggressive approach to communication via tiktok and instagram, and an equally classic approach on youtube.

Everything went well during the beta. Keys were given, streamers played... Then nothing.
Okay, let's make a long story short and here's the solution:
Sponsor popular streamers/youtubers (EU, US, Asia), and offer them a collab in the game. Through this collaboration, popular streamers/youtubers will have the right to their own in-game products (stickers, skins, charms, emotes...) and for some, maps dedicated to their own image, their own universe (take DR disrespect de son Arena for example). This will encourage fans to install the game and buy in-game, which will naturally contribute to the game's economy and reputation.
This strategy has both advantages and disadvantages. But I hope it will be taken into account and given more thought by the Embark communications team
And to take it a step further, once the game has become a huge success.

The ''problem'' imo with throwing knives is now that they've been boosted. TK mains who have learned to use them and adapted is wrecking absolute havoc.
They defo need to tweak them a little, defo get rid of the emote cancel crap that turns it into an SMG.
What i love for them to do is to give it a ''magazine'' its absurd that its a ranged weapon with no reload or down time.

I feel like a healing station would be more strong than a heal beam. the healer is out of the fight, but with a healing station both teammates can be lasering the enemy players while sitting in it. just look at xdefiant for example, it's super cheesey. you would have to make it so the owner cant be healed or maybe they cant be healed while getting shot, which then would probably make it worse than the heal beam

I totally agree! Powershift needs something to slow down the spam of lights. Itâs beyond annoying to be both the enemy and the teammate of a sniper player too.
When ADSing a grenade launcher, it should display a trajectory line similar to while prepping a regular grenade.
If even possible, the bounce trajectory for the MGL would be great, though that is less predictable as the environment can easily change.

I got a list of things I think embark should do something to:
- more zone util, the only util we have right now is the gas nade (fire as well if you decide to count that), and its kinda weak when it comes to zoning anyways
- buff fire (nade), this shit is weak yo, its on the same level as smoke
- smoke has like 3 different variants and idk if thats supposed to happen or not, sometimes it covers you fully and other times you can just see through it
- more events, god damn this gets boring when I have low gravity for the 20th time today
- buff weapons/util such as: 93r, that one shit ass shotgun for heavy that isn't the SA, anti-grav cube, and my beloved data reshaper

I play a few times a week.(I'm pretty shit though so it took me longer) There is an xp boost for end of season so if you've got time and don't have many of the circuit contracts finished I'm sure you can get pretty far. Let's talk about maps, I feel like this game is a sandbox game and we should double down on it.
Have some more environmental things implemented such as mud (which could slow players down that are walking in it.)
We could also add "Wind Gusts", it pushes players to a certain direction at a high speed. This could be implemented as an event?
For example when the event starts, every 20 seconds there will be a wind gust lasting for 5 seconds. This will add some randomness and chaos to the battles and make for some epic random/unexpected highlights.
Oil Slicks; Causes players to slip and fall (crouches sliding.) It can be ignited for fire damage when shot at with multiple rounds.
I love that the throwing knives got a buff, but like did you guys even test it? there's no reason to use the secondary fire now. I think the primary fire got overtuned and the secondary fire should have been sped up or something instead of the damage increase on the primary. the projectile speed is good though. you can primary someone in the head twice faster than you can secondary for basically the same damage. there's no reason to open a fight with a heavy with a secondary so you only need to hit them 2 more times, because you can just hit them 3 times with the primary in the same time or faster. The secondary should maybe be a long range precision throw with the slow ass wind up, and it should be that, but honestly it's impossible to hit anyone long range with them.
Do u know why your game is not going to be popular? Not only because of balancing, or gamemode. The main problem is performance issue. Back to open beta, my fps could go up to 80 with my 2060 laptop. Now it just gets worse and worse, even 40-60 fps is possible. While Apex can get a framerate up to 144 on my laptop. No wonder why nobody is playing this game anymore. They can play Apex, varolant or csgo. They dont ask much for hardware.
for variations of frag grenades there could be a sticky grenade and a halo plasma grenade skin would be cool, impact grenades , or a grenade that blows up into smaller grenades I feel like there's a name for that. flashbangs could also have a stun grenade variation like CoD. Pyro grenades could have a thermite variation where it burns through buildings.

A few ways I think the 93R could be buffed
Option 1
- Remove burst delay (this is how it works in real life)
- If burst delay is removed, slightly lower damage by -1 or whatever feels balanced enough to the devs (dps with no delay would be godly if damage per bullet was left as is)
- Slightly more range
- Larger mag size
Option 2
- Reduce burst delay
- Increase damage (but that would imply 2 bursting lights with body-shots only)
- Slightly more range

I have a solution for a troubling issue for players in regards to the âDiamond skinsâ you get from reaching diamond, in ranked mode.
- As it stands we have weapons cycling through each seasons ranked, for its turn to have a âdiamond skinâ for that particular weapon. So eventually once all weapons have had there chance to be the diamond reward for each season, they all get put back into rotation for a second time.
But the issue with that is if a weapon you like has recently had its turn for the diamond skin reward in ranked, a new player would have to wait a long time for multiple seasons for another chance at that particular weapons diamond skin, which in turn could discourage players from playing.
- Now here is my âSOLUTIONâ to this problem we have.
In exchange for one particular weapon being the diamond skin for a seasons ranked, we can have a âdiamond skin 1 time use consumableâ to apply to any weapon of our choosing.
This would still keep the theme of attaining 1 diamond skin per season, but also for the player to choose each weapon they would like to apply the skin towards.
While also keeping the âDateâ you acquired the skin on the weapon itself. This is a cool feature i enjoy seeing what season i acquired that skin from.
Another bonus possible option would be to allow players to apply this consumable diamond skin to gadgets aswell!!!
Image barricades with a diamond skin!!! That would be pretty cool in my opinion.
This 1 time skin consumable use could also apply to the upcoming âRUBYâ rank, if it works the same as out current diamond reward.
Also as a side note feature that i believe could be implemented in some way or fashion to use our âVRâ currency that we basically cant use hardly anything for when we have unlocked all equipment in the game.

A difference in perceived brightness is the most important thing to make accessible colors, not only hue or saturation. That's why other games use blue and yellow.
PD: I know that there's colorblind mode, but that's not the point, because I cant communicate with my teammates if they ping "orange there!" but in my game that team is purple. I need the have the same colors as my teammates.

My complaints about the game balance wise (don't worry, there a few that are not balance related such as server issues): "The meta is extremely unengaging"
- Medium is too strong. Mines are annoying, especially on cash out where you can put them right infront of the OBJ and farm free kills/make the OBJ unaccessable.
- Light is too weak and can get shutdown too easily. Also, please nerf throwing knives they are out DPS double barrel shotgun and are more consistent than tactical SMG.
- Heavy is too "barrier reliant". Flamethrower meta is extremely strong NGL.
Apex is already full of cheaters so youll be fine there and xdefiant is boring and nowhere near The Finals

The ranked system needs to take into account your performance not the cashbox nonsense. The gamemode itself is so bad for any competitive play as it has way to many elements that are out of your control. I've had several games where i get arrows down for literally being in the team that has to fight 3 teams at once over the course of the entire match, even if you drop 15kills and 10k damage it means nothing in this game, your skill is irrelevant to the game.

Please fix the issue with the guns not firing!
I play often, and it's very frustrating to have the AKA with a full ammo and when I want to shoot, it aims but doesn't fire! It's as if I'm trying to shoot without bullets. It's very annoying to be in the middle of a game and have this happen so frequently.
The same goes for the incendiary grenade. I'm tired of it disappearing when I throw it. It never explodes, and it still gets used up, so you can't even throw it again.
Besides that, I don't know what happened, but lately my FPS has been fluctuating a lot. Yesterday it was performing very poorly, and this wasn't happening before.
Also, please add a "reconnect" feature. The game crashes frequently, and we need to be able to reconnect to a match
i think it should have multiple vaults with lesser amounts of cash, but also the 30% team wipe penalty should be present
so you can go around to collect more and more cash while the cashout is in progress, making it a risk-reward on if you want to have more people to defend or have gatherers out

The portal maker would only be able to be placed on flat surfaces when right clicking youd create a Red portal and by left clicking and create a yellow portal by right clicking. While the portal is up you are able to view through both sides and shoot through the portal to attack opponents and they could do the same. While going through a portal you keep your momentum. Some of the drawbacks are that it has to be on a flat surface to be used, when running away if you place a portal the enemy can still fire at you and possibly kill you while you're trying to run through and even in your portal. Maybe a longer cooldown compared to gateway? Id imagine it would work where you start with 2 charges and when you use one of the charges it starts slowly filling back up.

Remember, just because Throwing Knives are popular doesn't inherently mean they're overpowered. A lot of people are trying them out just because they got buffed.
That being said, if you feel the TTKs are too low, they allow too much mobility, they have too much range, etc. compared to the other weapons, those may be valid and useful criticisms. Just STOP complaining they're overpowered without explaining WHY.

It'd be nice to have carriable bombs back. Not asking for an instagib tool like nukes, but it was fun to be able to make airburst explosives out of canisters and I regularly miss it when I'm running breaching charge or C4. Shooting or relying on the canister itself detonating either isn't as reliable or doesn't have the same fun factor to it.

as someone who's been using throwing knives consistently for the previous month, this buff was badly needed. the fire rate was bad and the delay combined with its accuracy made it even worse, along with the fact heavys could just obliterate you before your second shot.
the fire rate and damage boost finally made it viable and actually fun to use.

I been playing the game since middle way of season 1 and noticed that performance and optimization never feel good at all, I go to other games like: valorant, cago, Xdefiant, and etc.. they all feel smooth and good. Not a ton of lag spikes or hit registration (XD yes there is so far)
Yes this game has a lot more things going around like destruction and a big map. But gameplay just feels so choppy. And if the core gameplay of it feels bad, then it will makes player not really wanna play imo even though you guys are great at adding content like lore and music and such things.
Thatâs why why I slowly been playing Xdefiant over The Finals since the gameplay feels so much smoother and the gunplay is amazing.
You have to work on a performance, the core gameplay, the fundamentals before you get into the spicy content.
Focus on making the gameplay better for at least a month, we shouldnât not be having performance issue when we are abt to get into S3 of the finals.

Im 1-2 Games away from D4 and now i queued a game and one guy never connected. Because we couldnt progress to 2nd stage as a team of 2, we got "<<< -3 " . Thats one of the most bs scenario i ever had. I should be allowed to leave without consequences >if he never conneccted in the first place<< (or at least only punish the guy, but not me for being put in this unfair situation)

I agree 100% that losing a teammate should prevent us from going down. I also want to throw it out there because it might be helpful for anyone that reads this; I had one ranked match where we started with 2 and my teamate left which left me alone, and instead of leaving I basically roamed the map killing people that had just respawned alone and werenât expecting me. I ended up getting 5 kills and one death before the match ended and to my surprise even though I got last place I didnât go up or down at all. My arrows didnât change. If you read this, next time you get screwed without teammates in ranked, try to farm kills and get a nice KD⌠who knows it might save you.

With all weapons and the entire game , itâs call skill expression to allow this fast and responsive gameplay to stick around. Most Especially for the sword. Getting rid of gadget swapping for the sword would be cutting off this amazing sort of skill expression for players to experience. Iâm so grateful for you and your team for adding the sword in the game in the first place. And for it to be viable in comp if used with this type of skill expression is amazing. - mouse controls are not smooth. settings aren't exact numbers like in other games like csgo siege and apex have. im no game designer but if other games can do it right im sure thats a helpful reference. this frustration has made enjoying the game hard and to maybe show its not just me, shroud said on stream he thinks the same thing bout the controls along with others you find just googling "the finals mouse and keyboard feels bad".

Rpg would not be useless at all. It would mainly be a destruction tool rather than a attack weapon which is better. It may not be used by every single player but thatâs good.
Mesh shield is extremely annoying right now because a heavy can get hit for 95% of their health and then instantly pull the shield out to not die. Itâs a get out of jail free card and is extremely annoying to deal with. A delay would stop this and require you to plan the best way to use the shield instead of it just being a reflex when youâre losing a gunfight.
I would like if you could explain why you think the healing beam is so good because I think it is the most boring and annoying part of the game.
For the manual turret it of course would work like every other turret in gaming where it deals more damage than normal guns and has more bullets. It would also be awesome if it could destroy buildings if they get shot enough like the heavy shotgun. Also a hitscan ai should not be in a PvP game.
I would be fine with reverting the cloak nerf if they added having to manually turn off the cloak before shooting. You shouldnât be able to start shooting while still invisible. Or they should rework it entirely to be an ambush ability instead of what it is currently where people just run around invisible.
How exactly would a stun turret be bad? You would just need to avoid it or destroy it or glitch it. And it would give light a defensive tool which it needs more of. It would be better than the current or old stun gun.
Instant revive will never be useless. I donât know how you could think that. This change would just stop people from reviving people in the middle of a fight and require people to think about where to revive someone so it doesnât get cancelled. Defibs are still extremely strong.
If you play light and are diamond, instant derank back to silver, best feature to get boosted players out of diamond.
1. Take the cheating problem seriously
The cheating issue will always exist, no matter how much the anti cheat updated, the cheat software producer will just make another one to bypass
Seriously, embark. Look at pubg,apex, you know what happened to them, be honest with yourself, look at the statistic data about cheaters, it will show 90% of them are from china. Just restrict them in **china's **server, 90% issue will be solved, and you can still earn china's money
- 90% China players can't play an online game without cheating, this was proved by the history, sad but true
The finals is not big enough like pubg and apex, if you dont do something, it will eventually kill the game
2. Bugs that never fixed, makes the game completely uncompetitive, world wide FPS game tournament will be impossible, thus game will eventually die
- Can't shoot, sprint, press e, use abilities by chances (Happens at least once per 3 hour)

BUFF THE RIOT SHIELD:
Here's some suggestions, I know all of these together would make the shield pretty strong but even 1 or 2 would be enough to improve it so much!:
- While blocking movement speed should be the same as walking (increasing block movement speed would help a lot in pushing and giving your teammates support)
- Increase swing speed (Honestly a lot issues would be solve with this, the weapon lacks a good ttk)
- Increase damage from 84 to 90
- Electrify the baton and give it a glitch effect, when you hit somebody they're glitched for 2,5 sec (This would give the shield so much utility and would help the team greatly, making it a viable options)
FIX THE FOV WHEN HOLDING THE SHIELD UP:
- Remove the fov zoom when you hold your shield up (it's very annoying that when you block the screen zooms in, either remove it or add the option to choose between affected or indipendent fov while aiming)
HOLDING THE DAGGER BACKSTAB:
- Make it so you can hold the backstab and it's not a forced animation, revert it like it was in the Open Beta
GIVE SMOKE GRENADES TO ALL CLASSES:
- Give smoke grenade to all classes! It would open so many possibilities! I would use smoke so much if it was on medium, on the other hand i've barely seen any Light using smoke, especially when they have better gadgets to choose from
I think this is still the only game where I have to SEARCH for a game to play solo in the practice range
