This game is great but the devs HAVE to fix so many things. The bugs and cheaters are why this game isn’t growing the way it should be. But the devs are Lazy asf and won’t fix the shit that needs to be fixed. Absolutely ridiculous

Multiple people have reported that the health beam doesn’t work in some games. Some of the stairs in Kyoto prevent you from waking up them. Those 2 things should be easily fixed but the devs continue to ignore it. Just a full display of laziness and it’s ridiculous at this point.

On top of that they don’t do shit about players cheating. COD figured it out and so did other gaming Franchises. But the finals seem to welcome it. It’s sad

This game is fantastic. So many positives and the potential is through the fucking roof. But the devs have to clean up the small things and find a way to remove the cheaters. It’s a necessity at this point

2. Arrows and throwing knives get stuck in the riot shield, blocking the view
3. If a pyro grenade explodes on impact with a riot shield, the riot shield will light up, constantly damaging the player until he dies, which is a bug.
4. When using the riot shield "RICOCHET WAY" inspection animation, the standard inspection animation is often used, despite the fact that it is not selected in the animations menu.

I've been getting a visual glitch that has been making the game unplayable (for some reason I can't attach a video and so will try again in my next message)

During gameplay I am blinded by bright flashes randomly for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors. Sometimes if I look in a specific direction it will stop but reoccur once I look back.

Game files have all been verified. I play on all the lowest graphics settings but this seems to happen on all quality levels. Have restarted the game and my pc multiple times. Have also reinstalled the game. My drivers are up to date. I've never had an issue like this before. A gameclip will be coming when I figure out how to attach one.

it should allow you to unlink steam, and re-enter info. Problems happen when you try to merge steam and console accounts, there's an error it will spit out I don't think it's been fixed yet

this is the SECOND time I get a matchmaking suspension for something that ISNT IN MY HANDS.. They shouldn't prevent you from reconnecting to a comp game in progress, since no one can join in your place. Had a bad crash today in terminal attack where I had to restart my pc on round 3 and then it took 3 minutes too long to load, blocking me from joining back. Bdw if you crash during loading screen on the first round they don't even give you enough time to reconnect so if it happens just play something else.

Not the same kind, this is specific to the ongoing Intel saga that starts with manufacturing defects, deflecting the root cause, reports uncovering the symptoms of voltage discrepancies, testing confirming those generations are at a 100% failure rate over time. AMD has nothing to do with that, if you run AMD there are other client side fixes for a variety of errors but their hardware is not failing across the board like Intel is for those generations.

That's not the game, it'll be something else. Check heat, drivers up to date, stop errors in event viewer, etc. I play on a 3070 as well and rip 160 all day in the Finals - Near max settings, except TAUU 65 instead of DLSS (cause it crashes in DLSS)

honorable mention:
-geforce experience is wholesale bloatware, and not needed. You can try removing it and it's 'preset' config should go away
-13th/14th gen Intel processors cause all sorts of problems right now, if this applies to you, I'd start trying to RMA now, and keep trying. Class action incoming, sign up.
-If you run Linux, the driver revision and proton you are using are very important, let us know if so
-Your directX matters, you might also try using a launch argument in the Finals and force it onto 11 instead of 12

I had a bug where I loaded into a match but I couldn't interact with the vault to open it but could interact with ziplines. I couldn't fire my weapon or my RPG (I was using a flamethrower). I could use my mesh shield but could not throw or utilize my dome shield or barricade. When I went to throw the dome shield the voice line would play and the animation would play but it would not be deployed and I could infinitely throw a nonexistent dome shield. I had to completely leave the game and close it and reboot it in order for it to work again. Now I can't even get into a WT game without being booted out because it won't connect.

And I talked about that task being easily completed with other rifles, it's much tougher to headshot with the sniper, and a lot of times you'll merc someone by the body hitbox instead of the head and think it counted as a headshot, when it didn't.

I just got a situation on Power Slide. Enemy took back the sled and we went to overtime. They got to near mid-point (really close to the start point) and we wiped them off the sled. guys, can someone help with keyboard movement input lag(not because of internet/device): shooting, swapping slots, typing in chat is okay, but movement just have 3-10 seconds input lag and game dont react at all when i release button, just keeps walking in that direction

-If it's a bluetooth keyboard, they add (at minimum) around 200ms of latency, so not 1:1 input. And prone to interference
-If it's wireless, check batteries or connect it to corded power
-If it's wired, see if inputs also lag in safe mode, if not, check drivers for the keyboard. If it has a software suite, disable/remove it and try again

The iron sights for the R. 357 and LH1 are completely covered up when ADS at an enemy's health bar, Cash out symbols, and friendly death token symbols. This makes aiming with a precision weapon even more difficult... Not to mention player models don't have visual priority compared to these things. Seems like perhaps it's the config file the game is reading but not actually applying on launch.. So your settings are seemingly set to LOW but aren't actually Low. However, changing these settings to low upon start up doesn't seem to change ALL of them to low

Teammate left the game. I then went to leave game and it said at the bottom of the paragraph that I would not be penalized for leaving since a teammate already left. So, I left. what's confusing to me is that from searches this seems to be a very widely reported issue for the past two months or so; on a multitude of devices -> both intel/amd processors, nvidia/amd gpus (nvidia gpu, amd processor in my case). It cannot be a driver issue because I just updated my drivers after I got it. It can't be new drivers making the fuss because 1. it did it on old drivers, 2. aforementioned time window 3. both amd and nvidia gpus.

There's quite a few different causes for the game to misbehave, many that have a solution on the client side. Meknaan has summarized some of the possible solutions. One size does not fit all, depends on your desktop environment, hardware, and configuration. Look in #1201841543926005810 for other common problems with the UE5 crashing (which has many root causes that aren't Embark's fault)

EDIT-undervolting is a temporary solution for 13/14th gen processors impacted by the mfg errors causing corrosion, and voltage issues as a result. It may help, but if you have symptoms already, the cpu might be done.

Good deal. So, you are on 8th gen Intel and should miss the manufacturing clusterfuck (good).

-Geforce driver is current, also good.
-If using geforce experience, I'd try removing it (it's not necessary, and comes with pre-configured game settings that might not mesh with your setup, though it tries it's best)
-DirectX12 sometimes crashes in the Finals, that's where forcing it to 11 comes in (sometimes) it works, but 11 isn't that great either. You might consider manually reloading the directX runtime
-XMP off is good, memory boosting seems to cause issues in this game. Actually any memory manipulation is likely unecessary, you won't make huge gains overclocking the ram or using boost profiles.
-Try rendering in Vulkan, instead. It's a more efficient shader, I run Vulkan with about a 15% increase in framerate over what I had in Windows (while I'm on linux, vulkan is also available in windows 10)

Whenever I use in game vc, my mic levels change depending on weather I am speaking or not. When im not speaking, they can hear everything as my mic level maxxes out, however when I'm speaking, the mic levels drop so that they can barely here me. This never happens to me in any other steam game or any other game in general. I have "Allow other apps to take exclusive control over this device" turned off. I don't know what's the problem. I am willing to vc with someone and share my screen if they have the answer. Please someone help

something is not 'stock'. This is a bit more specific of an error than the usual 'disallowed tool' or other crashes. What's the result of 'verify file integrity'? If it passes, then it sounds like an actual tool in play.

If you don't have issues, it might still be an improvement. vulkan and DX12 are similar, but use different API. This is a low-level breakdown of differences https://beebom.com/directx-vs-vulkan/

It'll hurt nothing to try it, in some cases DX works better (both have their own advantages) but in many other cases, vulkan squeaks out slightly better performance.

My use case was i9-10850k, 3070rtx, 64gb, Windows 10. It ran well on Nvidia drivers in Windows, without much issue. It runs even better on Mint22 with Vulkan, so part of the gains may have been walking away from the OS in combination with using vulkan - but it does also work in Windows.

I wouldn't switch to Vulkan unless absolutely necessary to get the game to run. DX12 handles completely fine for most people and has the same feature set.

No UE5 game still uses OpenGL as it's a deprecated legacy API.

Okay, how hard can it be to fix the bug that prevents you from being able to use heal beam? It has been in the game for months now and puts you and your team at a massive disadvantage. Your only option is to either play it out and do no healing for your team or to leave the game, relaunch, and reconnect, which leaves your team 2v3 for almost a full cashout. The game is basically handing out losses that are completely out of the players control in what is supposed to be a competitive game mode. don't alt tab out of this game, it does't like being put in the background and does like crashing when you do so. If you have to pull up a window behind the game, use WIN key, expose taskbar, and select it that way (then you aren't forcing finals to minimize, which is where the issue comes from I believe)

You might be right that it's UE thing, I get the same behavior from other UE games. Interestingly, if it's not forced to minimize, I can do whatever else I want to the display. I have been getting the heal beam bug at LEAST once, EVERY SINGLE TIME I PLAY THE GAME. You know what makes grinding for emerald even less fun? Not being able to use your specialization all game unless you leave, rejoin, and and leave your teammates 2v3 for nearly a full cashout. Its crazy that the bug has been in the game for months without a fix. And I believe that is a completely seperate bug from the one that completely prevents you from using your left click, and also different from the bug that allows you to shoot your gun but not to throw deployables or grenades. Just had a teammates banner fall through the floor of the map on Kyoto twice in one game. One was right next to a wall and the other was right at the edge of the map. Cashout timer often will not show that one of the points will put the match in overtime. For example, if one cashout is planted and it will bring the math 15 seconds into overtime, and then another cashout is started that would use the remainder of overtime (meaning the match will play out with the full minute of overtime) it will not show that there will be 1 full minute of overtime until the first cashout pops

You can hear glitch trap* making noise, if you are close enough but not regular mines.

What sets off a mine is questionable, since they need a line of site to activate. Placing them weirdly on a surface, a wall, obstructed by other models, all have an impact on how they set off. If you set one upside-down on a floor and step on it, won't go off.

If it's Windows, there should be a log. Start > event viewer (you can type it out, it'll find the app) In event viewer > Windows logs > application and system logs. You'll look for yellow and red event markers in the log, should coincide with the time your game crashed

The game will launch with -dx11 but you will have 30-60fps constant stutters and crashes still. This game is worse stability wise than a fucking pre-alpha game. It's sad, I've developed games before. Couple things..
-If you can't launch, explain in detail what's happening, there might be a fix, as there are several fixes for client side crashes with a variety of causes
-Embark does cooperate, their team pops in regularly to update bug report threads when relevant. Just because they aren't immediate with responses to a massive community, doesn't mean they aren't listening
-The game is not dying, you can track it's playercount in real time and it has not shifted to a downward trend in any recent months

I have an issue, not sure if a bug, but it is game specific.

My monitor is 144hz, I have an RTX 3080 and Ryzen 7600, well enough to run the game well.

My FPS is locked to 72.0 at ALL times. I have turned off the FPS cap, disabled G-sync, tried all the different graphics settings, it never goes over 72.0.

If you pull up windows settings > advanced display settings, or device manager, do you see the correct monitor model, or 'generic pnp' monitor? If it's 'locked' that's generally v-sync, freesync, g-sync one of them enabled. Or the monitor is an unknown genericPNP and will bottom out settings

That might be part of the issue. So, first you have a ROG SWIFT PG279QE. Access to 165hz requires overclocking on the monitor in tandem with nvidia g-sync. It's base refresh rate is 144hz.
-try running 144, does that work?
-make sure you have an up to date monitor driver from asus (that seems legit, but check anyhow)

I'm guessing with g-sync off, it's defaulting to a value that isn't 165 (2560x1440) IPS, overclockable 165Hz (above 144Hz), G-SYNC™

I regularly get a bug where I cant throw any of my gadgets but just got a bug that allowed me to throw my HE nade and my invis bomb but would not let me throw my gateway. Right click and left click both do the throw animation but the gateway does not leave my hand. Only way to fix is to restart the game or finish the round. I'd be surprised if it ran well on a VM, since easy anti-cheat might have a panic attack operating in a hosted environment. And if it does run, that's a substantial amount of streaming to a remote pc even if the heavy lifting is done on the VM, I'd anticipate latency issues if anything.

Please sort the audio for users with a SoundBlaster soundcard, I have an AE-7 and it just either cuts out, goes mono in one speaker, or just a particular sound (such as throwing an item). It was for me bios defaults after secure boot enabling it set ram to 2400 instead of 3200 and it gave me performance drops, i set back XMP profile and all became really nice again lol, 160fps average with minimum drops to 120

I’m not even in a match, but the game says I am. When I try to reconnect, I get these messages: "Server not responding; We cannot connect you to a match." After several attempts to connect, the match that I didn't join or choose to be in gives me the following messages: MM suspension for 10 full minutes Error Code: TFGE0001

I attempted to join another World Tour match, but once again, I got kicked out and received another matchmaking suspension. I've since seen online that there are currently connection issues with Steam. My advice: if you have NO CONNECTION to Steam, avoid playing ranked games, or you'll end up with matchmaking suspensions for everyone. When relaunching Steam get the message Fatal error cannot connect to steam.

Steam is back online and connected, but when I launched the game and tried to connect, it attempted to place me in a match I was never in due to Steam's earlier disconnection. This is getting frustrating—now I have a 30-minute suspension. Please reset this suspension for me, because if I continue, the penalties will keep increasing, all because Steam lost connection earlier.

I've got this weird bug where if I hold shift + ctrl to slide and press my quick melee button x, I just dont melee for some reason. I tried switching the melee button to a different key and still nothing. Anyone else have the same problem?

That might be your keyboard only being able to register x amount of keys at a time. Loads of keyboards have this
You can go to a keyboard tester online and try to do it, You'll see its not registering your inputs when holding 3+ keys (thats usually how much keyboards can register at a time)

Unfortunately this isn't the case. I used to be able to melee while holding those buttons but can't after some recent update. I tried the website, other games, etc. and it works in those other instances. Asked a friend if they have the same problem and they don't either.

Kyoto needs to be better optimized. I’m getting Low fps on PC compared to all of the other maps.

I got banned for 7 days as well yesterday. Still not sure why. But don't hold your breath waiting for support. They never get back to you on anything. Sent them a message sometime in June I think. Still waiting for a reply. And I've sent them at least 3 follow up messages saying I'm still waiting.

I went back to support chat to have a look at when I sent the messages. Original message was sent 2 June. They replied a day later I think, can't see because there's no date. I had a follow up question to my original question, never got a reply. 12 June I reminded them I still need an answer. Nothing. 22 June I reminded them I still beed an answer. 10 July I had another question, and reminded them I still need an answer to my original follow up question. 9 August I reminded them I still eed an answer to my original follow up question and my new question. And after explaining support never gets back to you, they just say they will eventually. By the time they get back to me, I probably won't care about this game any more.

That’s really sad. Support is one of the main core things that should be right when having a Game like this especially with Ingame transactions. Looking forward we may also be able to contact steam support even if I don’t think that they have a lot of power over the procedure. I think that’s it’s even more critical that players like you and me and many more got banned for no reason because bans are caused by an automatic system. Having no actual upgrade to this system and not be willing to give the needed support is more than just frustrating and unfair if we may speak of fairness here.

Unfortunately I don't think Steam support will be able to do anything. But I agree, Embark's support is supposed to be a main priority for them, especially for a game that has transactions. I mean, they want you to hand over your money, and I have, but when you need anything from them it's a big F you.

And the suspension message is vague. Something about breaking the code of conduct. Ok? In which way? I don't cheat, I don't leave matches mid game, I don't use VC. If it's because I said in chat that one of the enemy team's players is a dumbass, and my teammates got offended because their profanity filter is disabled, that's not my problem. Don't disable your filter if you get offended easily, by words not even directed at you...

I was looking forward to Arc Raiders as well, but after seeing how they treat their players, I won't be buying that. In fact, if I could get refunds on stuff I've purchased in The Finals, I would. And not just because I got suspended, but they're slowly killing this game and the same will probably happen with Arc Raiders.

Apparently I have on mz brand new PC an cheat software which got detected by their system and they are more than confident in their system that what their system says is the truth and are not willing to investigate any further? After opening a second Ticket which I already explained in my last comment, they've again reached out again to me saying it should be unlocked now and voila, I am very happy now and hope the best for you and the many other's who also encountered the same issue. I recommend staying with your account as the ban is linked to your account and not your hardware I suppose.

it's a setting in the Bios. Look it up in the web you should get an tutorial on how to turn it on. irt may increase boot time for the time it's activated. See if it works and if not change the setting back to the state of before. just don't make any other changes in the Bios.

Good evening, everyone.

To give you some context, a few months ago, I discovered The Finals. After installing and testing it, I immediately noticed that the game was running at around 40 FPS with frequent drops. I did some research and found out that I wasn't the only one experiencing this issue; others were facing the same problem.

So, I decided to open the Task Manager to check how much of my GPU The Finals was using. I quickly noticed that the game was using only a small percentage of my GPU but was heavily taxing my CPU. This explains why the game runs at about 40 FPS.

I should mention that my PC can handle other games, like GTA with all settings on very high, Fortnite, and Tomb Raider, without any issues. I’ve also updated all my PC components and reinstalled the game, but the problem persists.

I believe the only solution is for the developers to address this issue by making the game rely more on the GPU rather than the CPU. I think this is why my PC performs well in other games, allowing for high FPS.

I noticed you were discussing the 'SecureBoot' error, I recently started getting it too and was able to fix it with settings in the bios, however it only worked for booting from my pc, when I try to play on GeforceNow I get the same error, any guesses?
