Already done, thanks, correct all potential error I had with my CPU, add some extra thermal paste, which I was lacking off in case of it was a complete burn out, quite litteraly, update to the latest driver, still never ever correct the problem, I'm playing a lot of UE developped gamre recently, and none of them have this type of crash, before or after all the fix I did, I mean, I don't want to spit the venom, buuuuuut

So I'm using a fem body and the CNS face. I see that that face (underneath the effect) also changes depending on the body type used. the odd thing tho, the voice stays masculine no matter what I do. is this an intended feature or a bug?

Usually I have the option to change the ray tracing setting in game to any of the options, and am able to get a steady 80fps in game on dynamic - low. But after the most recent update the setting has been greyed out and cannot be changed from static, and my fps has been half what it used to be. anyone know any fixes?

Hey, im having a really frustrating one where at completely random points in my gun fights, my ads will stop without me letting go of the trigger leaving me to ads until i manually stop holding the trigger and ads again. Haven't been able to log in since the update due to multiple errors because of EAC, now it just gives me "failed to install Easy Anticheat" every time I log in regardless of any fixes I've done, reinstalling game, deleting certain files and verifying files, running CMD to make sure its not on my end, as well as like 20 other attempts to fix it. For reference, the EAC Setup file doesn't even open even when run as administrator. And I've looked at fixes for that too and nothing works lol.

I genuinely havent been able to get any feedback other than the things i've already tried to fix, and still people have this issue. I'd at least like to know if devs are looking into it or if they just don't care.

@manic juniper it is your hhd problem . I have played finals on many different devices with different specs . I faced this problem when I was using a hhd as hhd have speed of about 100-150mbs also some background task affected it . You should shift to a nvme.

happens alot with steam friends, but mostly, if I am in a party, literally every other game will crash. This happens on my own but only sometimes and maybe when the servers are active, like middle of the day, but these crashes literally happen so fucking much that it's like "Okay invite me, aight the game's about to start? cool. Game crashed" literally in the few seconds of getting into a party after the game starts
crashes happen regardless of settings, config settings, graphics card update, graphics card settings, windows settings, other apps being open or closed, if the game is fullscreen or windowed, if low latency is on or off, if my internet is stable, if the cpu is a normal temp, if I completely reinstally the game, move the game's installed files from spare drive to main drive, etc. Literally nothing I can do to fix this constant crashing.

Crash visual description:
The crash will happen randomly within a match, no lag and or regardless of lag, the game will suddenly come to a full stop, no/0 fps, stall, not recover out of the stall, the sound will cut out then come back for a second and when the sound comes back the game will crash.
At times there won't be a crash log, but it probably says this most times, as I've stopped caring what they say:

I have not tried running the game out of admin, and I've conducted all these tests within admin both on steam and the exes for the game, which fixes the anti cheat auto kick.

it doesn't have a ping output (yet) but you can still see it. On Windows, Win key+R > typ 'resmon' > tab 'network' > click 'the finals' > look under 'TCP connections' you should see two Finals entries showing a ping

Listen, I'm not saying people don't bring up valid ideas and concerns, I'm gonna repeat some of them too, but there's just so much pointless bickering about the smallest of things that don't really matter. I wanted to shed some light on the truly most important issues.

PERFORMANCE: the performance in this game is very bad. No idea why people don't bring it up, it's the number 1 reason why I stopped playing this game. I used to have a stable framerate of around 110fps during the beta, now it's down to a very, very unstable 60. It's legit getting worse and worse and worse each week with every update. Even when playing on GeForce Now with a 4090 RTX, where Doom Eternal reaches 400 fps - yes, FOUR HUNDRED fps - The Finals is sometimes struggling with 100, dipping down to 85. It's  terrible for a fast paced FPS to stutter this much. The loading times are just absurd - every 3rd match takes close to 2 or 3 minutes to load, it also often crashes/freezes during loading screens. Since March, I also started to notice the netcode getting worse and my character often dying a good few meters behind corners.


THE GUNPLAY: have you ever wondered why the gunplay feels so off in this game? Of course, there's bad balancing and Tarkov-like recoils in an arcady Apex-y class shooter. As everyone said already, a ton of weapons needs to be buffed and the recoil patterns reverted to a much more tolerable state, cause right now there's maybe like a single gun on 2 out of the 3 classes that's actually fun to use. But wait, there's more! Did you know that your sights/crosshair don't actually show you where the bullets are going to hit? Yes, that's right. This issue existed for years and it wasn't fixed. Bullets always come from the middle of your screen, no matter what's happening. Which means your crosshair/sights actually make you miss. It's an insane oversight, I can't put into words how much worse the game is because of it.

Playing on xbox series s and I'm crashing alot.

I play every day for a few hours with my friends and I crash at least once per session. A lot of the time the crash is resetting my xbox and I cant reconnect to the finals unless I restart it twice.

I play multiple online games and single player without incident so this isn't my console, this is the game and the frequency and severity of the crashes is becoming a big problem.

I only have Razer hardware with service processes on the computer, I am not sure whether other processes will be added to the detection in this update. I attempted to break it by using one of the cranes to reposition myself to face the enemy team, this still didn't work. Troubleshoot, worked for me!

1. End process tree of all Razor apps (anything that starts with "Rz" ! that's important)
2. Stop Xbox application through task bar as well
3. if you get "Running Install script" delete the vdf file from the game directory.
4. if it still doesnt work, restart steam
5. if that still doesn't work, pause any Razor service on Start > Run > Services.msc and restart steam again.

Listen, I'm not saying people don't bring up valid ideas and concerns, I'm gonna repeat some of them too, but there's just so much pointless bickering about the smallest of things that don't really matter. I wanted to shed some light on the truly most important issues.

PERFORMANCE: the performance in this game is very bad. No idea why people don't bring it up, it's the number 1 reason why I stopped playing this game. I used to have a stable framerate of around 110fps during the beta, now it's down to a very, very unstable 60. It's legit getting worse and worse and worse each week with every update. Even when playing on GeForce Now with a 4090 RTX, where Doom Eternal reaches 400 fps - yes, FOUR HUNDRED fps - The Finals is sometimes struggling with 100, dipping down to 85. It's  terrible for a fast paced FPS to stutter this much. The loading times are just absurd - every 3rd match takes close to 2 or 3 minutes to load, it also often crashes/freezes during loading screens. Since March, I also started to notice the netcode getting worse and my character often dying a good few meters behind corners.


THE GUNPLAY: have you ever wondered why the gunplay feels so off in this game? Of course, there's bad balancing and Tarkov-like recoils in an arcady Apex-y class shooter. As everyone said already, a ton of weapons needs to be buffed and the recoil patterns reverted to a much more tolerable state, cause right now there's maybe like a single gun on 2 out of the 3 classes that's actually fun to use. But wait, there's more! Did you know that your sights/crosshair don't actually show you where the bullets are going to hit? Yes, that's right. This issue existed for years and it wasn't fixed. Bullets always come from the middle of your screen, no matter what's happening. Which means your crosshair/sights actually make you miss. It's an insane oversight, I can't put into words how much worse the game is because of it.

Im blown away by this message, What cpu are you pairing with your 4090? I'm personally running a 13th gen i5 with a 3070 and easily get 250fps+ on low settings. A lot of people don't understand this is mostly a CPU bound game, you could have 24 gigs of vram but be bottlenecked by the performance of your cpu. If you are having the crash issue as the people above are, you need to !!CLOSE ALL!! Razor running background applications. For keyboards, Mice, Headsets, Anything. Razor Cortex, Razor Synapsys, make sure it is all closed from task manager. Right click on your taskbar, choose Task Manager, then close anything related to Razor. Chroma Visualizer as well.

MAKE SURE THAT THEY DO NOT START AGAIN!!!! They might try to start back up after you force close them in task manager, and this is only a solution that I've found for myself and a few others.

I'm getting massive fps drops after the update, running in dx11 helps in getting a high fps value but then it stutters like crazy, the game is literally unplayable for me now. I did notice that the cpu usage is very high in this update as well, the fps issue that i'm having perhaps is related to it? Can't really tell, it could be the new rooftop reflections as well, but plz, do look into it, I can't play the game with a smooth frame rate anymore, I'm playing with half of the performance from yesterday with patch 2.7.0 basically, so 40ish fps while roaming the map and 30ish fps during intense gun fights, the main menu is still the same lock 60 fps though (I'm playing on PC btw, but some folks on PS5 seems to be having the same issue).

UPDATE: Verifying the integrity of game files on Steam, downloading the lastest Nvidia driver and setting in-game Nvidia Reflex Low Latency to Off it seems to have fixed the issue, will update if the issue reappears.

I wanted to address one of the 3rd career mode contracts. It says that you have to do 150.000 damage to structures with arena throwables (at least in Spanish is what I can gather from the description) but I seem to be stuck at 49.411 and have 0 idea if it means that I'm doing it wrong or what. game crashes often and in one match I was in the middle of a ranked game, game crashed, I rejoined, we won the round but it kicked me out of the game and didnt give me the reconnect option to continue to round 2. Reconnecting to ranked matches has been a massive issue since the release of this game and without things put in place to allow easier reconnects and getting rid of a reconnect timer then it constantly becomes a problem of losing ranked points after a game crash. You should be able to reconnect to a match no matter how long it has been. For those such as me who have slower computers and startup times for the game then Im never able to reconnect to a game when the game crashes. becuase of this, its been a long process to reach diamond due to losing points every time the game thinks im disconnecting from a match and not returning, PLEASE FIX THE RECONNECT TIMER

I wanted to address one of the 3rd career mode contracts. It says that you have to do 150.000 damage to structures with arena throwables (at least in Spanish is what I can gather from the description) but I seem to be stuck at 49.411 and have 0 idea if it means that I'm doing it wrong or what. It has been the most difficult contract to try and do because I don't understand how to do it properly in order for it to count and it doesn't seem like grabbing explosive canisters and sending them around the arena works anymore, which is weird and doesn't let me finish that mode in order for me to obtain the Vaiiya Antivirus mask.

Anyone running the Finals on Series S have problems loading up the game? I recently purchased a Series S 1 TB and my game crashes anytime between loading up the game and 60 seconds afterwards. some of us are still having issues getting the finals to run on PC even after the hot fix. it fixed mine and my friends computer, but not my husbands. he is able to open the game, and start a match, but it always crashes a minute or two in. Hey just so you're aware....if you have healing beam equipped on a contestant and get DC'd or leave a Terminal Attack at load in and re-join it allows you to use healing beam, defib, etc....

Press and hold the Power button on the front of the console until it turns off
Unplug the console for 2-5 minutes
Plug it back in and reboot the console

its not really that big of a bug, but while queuing up for a game, lets say that the party leader/ you (even solo queue) start queue for one game mode it says so next to the wait time on top of the screen. But if you change the game mode after the game, the name of the game mode next to the wait time still remains as the previous game mode through out as seen not just by the player but all the other party memers as well. (i think it does that unless you join another party)

yea its since the new patch a lot of people have server lag now, they will prob fix it next patch since its so widespread, they said something about optimizing performance this last patch it might of screwed things up. a few msg's up a few other people are having the same issue

won everything but final round the game before with all 3 arrows up going into the next game. Won all rounds next game and still did not rank up just 3 arrows up. Not to sure if this is a bug but how do i not rank up.

You can think about rank indicators like this: 1 arrow means 5 points, 2 arrows means 10 points, 3 arrows means 15 points. If arrows are going up, you get the points, if they go down, you lose the points. Each rank is also a certain amount of points you need to get with more points required the higher you move up the ranks. Even if you get 3 arrows up once, if you then get one arrow down 3 times you are roughly back to where you started. The problem is you do not know how many points you need to move to the next rank. I guess that will be fixed next season. I believe you just did not accumulate enough points to move up. It was the same with me going from P3 to P2.
