I just had to get Secure Boot working in my BIOS which isn't exactly easy. People who don't have experience changing things in their BIOS or getting something working in their BIOS that is off by default are probably going to struggle with this.

Also, I'm curious what determines whether or not you need to have Secure Boot on to play the game, as the patch note just says, "Added a requirement to have Secure Boot enabled for certain players". Why is this suddenly a requirement for me to play the game? A user here said him and his girlfriend share a PC and her account requires Secure Boot to be enabled and his doesn't. This means specific accounts are being forced to use Secure Boot. Why is that? I know it's not my painfully average stats... @oblique berry

lmao theres a bug where i bought the oni mask for the aggressor set and got the entire thing applied to my character, just used the equip straight out of the store and it applied the whole outfit after buying only one of the parts

I think this update broke the way the teams were formed in private matches, before the patch teams were formed as people entered the room (as usual) but now the game makes the teams however it wants, even it creates one team with no members in it (3v3vNoOne); friends and I tried several times but nothing as before.

Voice chat stopped working during game

I had second time strange issue with in-game voice chat. In random moment voice chat icons disappeared and I couldn't hear teamates and they couldn't hear me. I was able to leave and join to the voice chat but nothing changed. When we came back to lobby it started working back, but in next game it was still broken. I had to restart whole PC to fix it

Why is it that the Fumigator removes your headwear when all the other gas masks don't? It didn't do this in the beta and seems really odd! Additionally, I noticed when the public beta went live, writ items don't apear when wearing "long" gloves like militarty ones or what not. In the closed betas they didn't do that and I feel it should go back that way, especially with the items that go further up on your arms like the braceelets. Literally the mercenarty comes with this issue of military gloves and a bracelet yet you can't see it due to this. These are minor cosmetic stuff but always found it odd when playing as they were fine in the closed betas it seems?

I've seen the game primarily lag at the beginning of the game, when moving to another part of the map, when the model you're near (canister or otherwise) begins it's loading in que from low poly to high poly, and the better looking the model, the more it lags.

It does work on private lobbies and the shooting range pretty alright. When I spectate after a team wipe, the game runs smoothly, but not while alive. Testing in the shooting range, the game seems to be running as well as I've optimized it.

Servers like the new game mode seem to hit or miss, at times running, at other times not running, other times refusing to reconnect even after 10+ retries. Modes like quick cash have hit or miss servers, but mostly ones that are more stable than the other modes. Cashout seems to crash my game 3/4 times I try to launch that gamemode. Ranked mode also seems to be rather laggy, however I didn't test it but once or twice.

current fix is to play 14 terminal attack matches (source is one of the CMs, or you can wait until next patch and see if it fixes anything), Embark are incredibly transparent w the community when compared to other game dev studios, they do care about their player base and are working on optimisation fixes (last i checked). relating to skins im not sure if many actually know but the teams who code the game and the team that design skins and bundles and that have completely different skillsets (no this doesnt mean you can call the code team incompetent what their doing is a miracle rn) the design team dont have to worry about in game bugs as it wont affect what happens on their end. also be respectful to these devs less than a 100 of them are working on this game ;-;

Okay, so I am noticing that when you use mice on The Finals, the exact area where you hitr context bar is ABOVE the area where you would click. This also applies to when you're targeting players.

I have checked my mice calibrations, and they're fine. I have tested this on five different gaming mice (all of which, have been calibrated).

Hello! Maybe it was intentional, but the dagger has been changed a lot since the animation changes in 2.6. Now it is impossible to hit the dash and then stab combo, and back stabs in general seem a LOT more difficult. I'd love to see the dagger back to its original state! Thanks.

I was able to make the game run better by adding

Good morning all. I play the finals on Xbox Series X, and since the game has released, I constantly get crashed out with error code TFGE0003. I have tried all troubleshooting steps. Changing my region, wired connection, changing DNS, power cycling router, none of it works. I get over 1000mbsp download speed, over 45 upload, and no packet loss. My connection is great. I hve no issues with any other game. Does anyone know how I could possibly fix this issue? This is my favorite game to play and stream. The only problem is I can hardly ever play a full match without having to reconnect which results in no one wanting to play with me and me losing my streaming audience.

If you don't want something to be non-toxic, then ask them to remove the emotes, markings, etc...

I only see a fragile generation, preferring to stop having something that will expand the social aspect of the game for fear of seeing a toxic message, with players already finding their way by making emotes and so on...

So there's this crash that happens, I'm sure it's cpu, but the game will stall, not recover, crash, not coming out of the stall (like as soon as the stall is over it crashes). Then, when you relaunch the game, it'll launch a game using 0 cpu and never launch the launcher, essentially just being a dud program that never opens the game. When you close this via the task manager or through steam and try to relaunch the game, it'll prompt a file verification.

This doesn't seem be the same as normal lag stalls, but I'm not sure. Not using -dx11 in the launch options, the stalls turned into crashes, but they were severely less abundant. Half of these stalls are crashes while the other half aren't really stalls but just a second of lag with still frames. It's almost like the game tries to load, can't do it, flags something as currupted, or perhaps is actually getting currupted, then it prompts a file verification after the launcher can't/won't launch.

it works like that in a few UE games especially, as the game is tuned for higher settings, hard to explain but lower settings sometimes throws things off balance. Especially with view distance and shadows

• I can get over the game bugging out and not letting people join into matches considering there is an option to reconnect.

• I CAN'T get over there being an incredibly short amount of time to attempt to relaunch the game and reconnect. Matchmaking suspension + rank loss for a bug within the game is just not a pleasant experience. I feel like the timer that allows you to reconnect needs to be extended or removed entirely.

I have problems with the heal beam as well. 1 out of every 5 or 6 matches it just lights up but doesn't make a beam or heal. I summited a bug report about it on there webpage a few weeks ago. Sure others have as well.

Low Settings - Lag, Constant frame drop, Sometimes a stall (no crash), crash when loading into a match if the game isn't selected, minimizing other programs reduces lag

I am playing on Arch Linux with KDE desktop. I do not have any fancy applications running in the background, just steam, and chrome. Since 2 patches ago I keep getting kicked after 10 minutes for disallowed tool or something. On my screen it said I did 💀 probably enviromental damage on them, but because they died after I died, I couldn't see what I did exactly on the killed by feed
