Im not 100% sure, but the way I saw the ranked progress makes me think that the arrows dont represent if you went upwards or downwards in ranking.
The way I see it is your progress to the next rank, the arrow representing how much further you are to rank up. You are diamond 4 with "-2/-3" currently. Lets say you fully win your next tournament, u might get 2 or 3 points up (no idea how quick ranking up in diamond is) so after the next match your progress would be (lets say u get 3 rank progress) 1 arrow up, meaning you are now 1/3, as previously u were -2/-3 putting you over the threshold of 'negative rank' or numbers.

This is just what I assumed the visualization meant, might be wrong...

yeah you could be right mate, it's extremely confusing as sometimes when I'm knocked out in round 2 or 3 I get 1 arrow up but the 2 arrows down in a round four 2nd place was just super confusing. Hope it's a visual bug or something

Everytime I want to change my loadout ingame, it resets to the original thing every time. It is so annoying! I do not want to change the whole thing all over again! Sometimes I just want to change one other thing, not everything! I dont know if thid is a bug or feature since it only started happening since season 2, but it is sooo annoying. Try changing your loadout in game menu in "Contestants", this one should keep your stuff. Cause if you'll change anything in match preparation - it will reset to the "Contestants" loadout

that's what I mean. It is so annoying that every time I open up the menu to change stuff while in the match (not preparation) it always changes to my contestant loadout. Not the original loadout when you start the game. I dont even remember waht that was.

Lets say for example: Im med with heal. defibs, gasmine, and fire gren. Thats loadout how it as changed in contestants menu. Joining a game. In the middle of the game I decide gas mine should be changed to aps. and fire gren to explosion mine or anything. Then later I want to change the other gadget or maybe a weapon. The other two gadgets get reset to the main loadout as I put it in contestants menu! Its so annoying! Ijust want to change one more thing!

For those who are having the issue of the battle pass not giving you your rewards despite having met the prerequisites to unlock them, wait until the last tier of the battle pass and buy the last tier. It should unlock everything. This is a last resort though, so try other methods that are mentioned by other people

So, I tried entering a ranked match, of which, The Finals would NOT connect me on. I kept getting the TGFE003 error, and while I was troubleshooting the issue on my end? The screen went into a downranking and Suspension That is ***totally unfair ~ I don't abandon games - no matter how dire the circumstance. Why does it kick me into suspension, when I couldn't even enter the match(es) in the first place?

It's not possible. You need discord from PC and game from PC. It was limited to PC players only, because Discord cannot make it work on console version yet.

There has been an issue since maybe last season where when you are loading into Vegas (or SYS$HORIZON as of season 2) it will play a really low quality version of the arena music on top of the loading music and it sounds horrible, I don't think this is intentional. It's playing two different tracks on top of each other, and once you load into the character select screen it stops playing the low quality arena music.

yeah that happens in powershift. You have to just redo the entire loadout instead of just changing one gadget or gun. I think when you press the loadout key it just opens to your default and you have to change everything to get it to change to the loadout you want

It's the Anti-Cheat being late initialising the check while the game is launching. Start the game again(and again) and if you can see the main screen, fast click on "Equipment" or "Shop" or any other voice on the right. To me it worked, as if the game needs some interaction to hook the rest of the functions. It may not be a real solution, but it worked a couple of times when I had that issue.

What is happening?
Healing beam can be equipped and swapped to but won’t heal teammates. Pressing the use button causes the beam to light up and make its higher-pitched whine, like when you try to heal a teammate out of range, except even when next to a teammate it won’t connect the beam and heal them.

How to find this bug?
It randomly occurs during a match, or from match to match.

What should be happening?
Healing beam should heal teammates within range like normal.

Additional details:
The bug seems to affect my Xbox teammate more than me, it happens to him in almost half of the ranked games we play together. As a PC player, I’ve only had the healing beam bug out maybe once or twice ever.

Hi guys, my friend has had an issue with the game crashing. At first it was at startup and we found someone online suggesting forcing running the game with "-d3d11" startup options. This allowed him to run the game but it inevitably crashes after a few games every time. We have tried a few other solutions posted online and mentioned here but he is still having the issue.

Hi, I have posted it on the NVidia's feedback reddit thread however whenever I update to Geforce 552.12 (the most recent build) my game will crash to desktop once I get to the map loading screen its fine in all the other game menus. I have installed it twice with the same issue. I haven't tested on other game other than GOW (2018) that works perfectly. I'm on windows 11 using a PNY 4080 Super and i9 14900KF if that helps at all. Is this where to report bugs? I have a bug where the voice chat will always be opened to all teammates even if the setting has already been set to "Friends Only". It can be fixed just by changing the setting from "Friends Only" to "All" and then back to "Friends Only" but it will only work for the current round, as the bug will happen again in the next round. The game didn't open for me either and I got that error. First I had to contact support and the error disappeared but then I couldn't log in. The game wouldn't start and I did what I just indicated above: I haven't been able to log in for weeks. 3. I stole an enemy's cashout, more than a second after that, I got killed by somebody and the cashout was still of the enemy.

4. I respawned myself too far from the objective/team mates which were alive and fighting to the other side of the map.

5. Terrible desynchronisation of the whole gameplay. No way to play as Light or Medium, any loadout becomes ineffective since Season 2.

6. Fcar stuck in inclined ADS instead of reloading. Add a sound when the mag is empty.

7. HUD shows the amount of bullets only when the weapon is not selected.

8. Weird time to kill from light to medium.

9. Something in the in-match interface or joining screen is missing. I can't remember, but I notice the micro break happening in game, like a missing animation.

Cant post in bug reports but here's a really bizarre one:

I had 0 fire damage in both weeks (or as it's called stages) 3 and 4. So I conciously put fire grenades in my loadout and played a match. Hit one guy with flame grenade and look and it says says for stage three 55 damage and for stage four 60 fire damage. How can the newer week have more damage? I couldn't have put points towards week 4 until after week 3 was unlocked. There's no explainable reason for the stats to look like this. The challenges arent documenting things correctly in the most bizarre way.

Two bugs here that I'd like to bring up. Both of these happened in the same game and they have both happened multiple times to me. First one is sandstorm Las Vegas. There have been at least 4 different times playing this map where a cash box has gotten stuck underneath the sand and is unable to be grabbed in ranked games. Secondly, in the game that I experienced the cash box being bugged, I also happened to get disconnected before the match even began for some unknown reason. I got false banned twice.
It took them 2 months, 10+ bot response tickets and like 10 videos worth of evidence (including a handcam) to get me unbanned.
Every ticket would say something different too.

I ran into a problem earlier where I was playing power shift crouching under the platform, where I shouldn't have been taking damage. But maybe because there was fire on top? I'm not sure why it was draining at the rate it was with nothing that visually should have been. I didn't even end up dying it was just a annoying circumstance. Idk we were on level ground and it seemed like everyone else had space to go under it without a problem. I play that mode a decent amount and it's an issue I haven't run into so far. If i was getting squished by the platform the clearance on that is off by a bit or something. Plus if it was gonna squish me you'd think I wouldn't be able to make it under the platform in the first place, but it was level the entire time. Something to consider for an update to the mode if it's the case. It could be more flat to the ground so explosions would make the rocking splat contestants like pancakes if they're caught under it

CPU bottleneck does that. The GPU gets under used when the CPU is struggling. This game is not well optimized and it badly needs a lot of work which they don't seem to be doing. The performance is more consistent than it was in the open beta, but it's not better. Like at all.

Normaly when you place a jumppad it switches to your gun right after, BUT if you want to pick up anything right after placing a jump pad, it releases it, and switches to the gun, this is very bad in some cases, most of them is placing a jumppad to rush to the cashout with the vault but right after you jumppad and pick the vault, it realeases it, making you jump but not take the vault with you. What is going on with this game on Xbox recently. It’s been crashing pretty much every time I get on, which it never used to do. Trying to change load outs mid match is frustrating because it keeps deselecting everything when whoever you’re spectating dies, and sometimes it does this randomly. The finals has proven itself to be one of the most refreshing and defining games of the 21st century. The game still consists of a lot of issues and game breaking mechanics which hinders its ability to progress as a game.

The first is cheaters. A game filled with rampant cheating and infested corruption cannot be played with hearts full of joy and ambition. A game that does this to itself, is causing more pain and suffering amongst its audience

The second is lack of response. No response from the developers about key decisions and unique implementation to strengthen the community in itself is doing more harm than good. This should be resolved with clear and concise transparency.

By listening to our feedback, we hope the finals improves not only as a game, but a well known social phenomenon

If you want the player base to use Embark nicknames, you have to provide at least 20 characters, especially for those who are streaming.

Or consider to allow us to use the Steam display name.

Both solutions are cheaper than adding one more variable to store a "streamer" tag under the nickname in the scoreboard.

One more bad point of your change is that in order to help you identifying cheaters, it would be better to make the Steam nickname clickable linking to the suspect Profile Page, and check if they are some fake account, or they have a VAC ban or game violation, bad comments. (You know, a leopard can't change its spots).

He's just not hitting headshots or he is but on mediums. Even hitting headshot on light from 150m+ it's a 1hit. To decrease 230 to under 150 is a lot of distance which you're not getting on the maps. The game will NEVER succeed long term if high-elo ranked games continue to be plagued by cheaters. I have played 10 games today, 8 of them have had cheaters in them. All blatant aimbot as well. Players I see game after game, players with skins that have clearly been cheating for weeks. It's disgusting. If you leave high-elo competitive players out to dry with a distinct lack of discipline for hacking, streamers and creators leave the game, content doesn't get made for the game and in turn, overall interest drops. Maybe that's the reason the concurrent player count has been dwindling for the past couple of months with no end in sight. It's a very serious issue that gets a bizarrely low amount of discussion by you guys when talking about the direction of the game :/

Get some compressed air and clear out the dust in ya PC case. I hopped on today for the first time in a while and nearly instantly queued into a match with my friend, but since then I haven't been able to get into a single ranked match. I have tried while duoing and while soloing and it's just a never ending timer, so I don't think it has anything to do with rank or skill level.

please fix voice chat, A lot of people have no communications with teammates and yes we enabled voice chat. This is a deeper bug and its not for everyone but please I can only talk to people if I play on my roomates PC. It also fixes itself in the second round for some reason. Also on xbox if your controller dies or unplugs or your headset dies or unplugs you lose all voice communications even if it is the second round. Anyway having no communications makes it impossible to get to plat or diamond im stuck in Gold one with teamates who think they are playing lego fortnite and I cant help them at all because I have no comms. So please I have seen other reports of this bug but it is truly gamebreaking for the people it is happening to. When talking with randoms in the second round or on they have told me some of their acquaintances also have the issue. IN POWERSHIFT, the overtime is bugged because the overtime is triggered, my team (assume 3 players) is on it sure but as soon as even one player steps down the round ends. If the controlling team steps down the boat during overtime and no one is capturing the boat ideally it should trigger a neutral state for the boat but it doesn't and ends the match. The player base is so small for console that you wait 15 minutes for a ranked game just to get into a lobby with 2 teams that are full diamonds that couldn’t do 98% of the stuff they do to golds against there TRUE RANK . Solo queuing is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE unless u make a Smurf or youre a popular streamer. I’m d4 . Getting placed with silvers and golds for teammates playing against all diamonds. Which wouldn’t be a problem if I could get teammates of the same rank and skill . It’s been a slice . Me and my entire friend group have now deleted the game for good! Best of luck Embark :

Solutions I've tried already:

• Re-Linking Steam Account on Embark Site
• Restarting Steam + Game

An interesting point is that the game was stuck on "Stopping" in the steam menu. It was impossible to close the game after exiting.It was fixed after a game update.

Logging into Embark's site with Steam account helped apparently. since i didn't have this problem and you said L community i was trying to help you out bro cmon and yes its copy and paste from a forum

Edit: Seems like most of the contracts don't work anymore. Light damage didn't start registering for me either.

Edit edit: Try tracking those contracts, some started working that way. Structure damage stilll glitching for me.

Its people like you who do not believe or trust embark enough to iron out the many kinks they have faced along the way that are bringing the downfall of this game. We havent seen anything like this whatsoever so clearly it isnt going to automatically stick t the masses. 20k player average on steam on top of the average console players is fine. Thats not dead, and it shows that theres a dedicated player base that sticks with the game. As long as they keep releasing content and such, and working towards making it a better overall experience, then they will maintain what they have and grow from there. People feel like if a game isnt more popular than some of the other big names out, then it wont make it, but thats simply not true. What people also have to realize is Embark is an indie game company and they are trying to compete with triple A game titles with no prior background. Even if it was for a shot period of time, it proved that it could stand its ground amongst the more popular shooters of today
