So Ive had my Embark linked with my Steam and Twitch ever since the Beta, however for some reason I cant claim twitch drops now. When the first wave of drops came out I claimed them all but they never showed up in my inventory. I ended up relinked my twitch and embark to see if that fixed it but No. Now that the new drops are out and I have watched enough to claim them. It shows I claimed them but they dont appear in my Inventory still. I really just want the Helmet but cant because of this issue

well, make sure to revert any changes you might've made on your computer that your ""job"" required (i.e. test mode for unsigned drivers, any weird drivers that were mapped, kernel debugger, debugflags, etc), eac does not like those things, and make sure to restart, programs like ida use mutexes and those might've not gotten removed up when you last closed it
besides that, i dunno, it's your computer man, u should know what's running on there and what isn't

Now the TFAV1012 error is back and this game is unplayable again. I always get this error since the launch of this game, but not so frequent during the last few patches. Just ran a search, I'm getting the exact same thing! Every round, TFAV1012 error, and I can only join a match 1/15 attempts I make after finishing the queue. Has anyone ever had the Finals crash on PS5 and then break their TV?
My LG C2 now has permanent lines and weird glitches after The Finals crashed on my PS5 (like 5 seconds after). Not sure if this is related or just a coincidence.

I wonder if the TV broke and something to do with VRR (or something communicating from the TV to the game) caused the game to crash.

The data passing through HDMI will not be able to mess up your TV. However, it might also be a bad HDMI connection/cable. If it's also happening outside of that input, then, what a coincidence.

The only signal going back to the console is the HDMI handshake. The game should still be able to run even if this handshake fails, you just won't get output on your TV. I don't think these are related here.

It really isn’t too much of a coincidence.
Games don’t break TV’s it’s never once been documented to have happened.

Perhaps you experienced a power surge that damaged your tv and caused your PlayStation to crash the game that was running? The PS5 has know issues with the hdmi port breaking from overheating and this game runs hot. Perhaps the ps5 got hot enough to short the hdmi port which could damage your tv potentially. But that’s hardware issues not software issues.

I'm agreed, here. I think it must have been a power surge that affected the console and the TV simultaneously. Do you have a surge protector on both?
Even with the HDMI overheating and getting damage, it will not affect your TV negatively, it will simply not provide a feed for it to render.

@autumn ridge Everytime you guys release an update, the update downloads flawlessly but always drops to 0b/s disk usage when trying to install the update. I can never get this fixed and always just end up having to re-install the game. for my second bug report, every time I re-install the game, it always fails to launch giving the "easy anti-cheat failed to install" error. I try all the usual fixes, creating a shortcut for EACinstall.bat with "repair" added to the launch options. most of the time I get it working, but it is never consistent in what fixes it. thanks for any help you can provide.

1. Flamethrowers seem to be able to shoot flames through your own barricade instead of getting blocked by them (like bullets would) - and yes I mean the metal barricades, not a mesh or dome.

It says I'm not allowed to make a bug report thread so I'll put this here. The TFGE0000 error has been happening since December. It is caused by a bug that allows you to equip two skins on the same gun/gadget/specialty in the same loadout (visually it just shows checkmarks on two skins with one of the skins being equipped). When trying to enter a game, the error appears. The only solution has been to delete the preset (since you can't unequip either skin) and have to remake it which is tedious. When will this bug be fixed?

i found a bug in the game, if you prime a grenade and then pick up a carriable (ive tested explosive canisters and fire barrels) then you can drop/throw that carriable and the grenade will stay primed while you arnt holding down the button. on top of that, you can sprint while the grenade is primed.

These guides are for Gigabyte motherboards, but you should be able to find guides for your relevant board somewhere online. Enabling Memory Integrity is definitely not ideal as this is known to reduce gaming performance across a range of titles. Following these steps is only way I'm able to play The Finals after the latest update, so unfortunately it has to be done in my case. Hopefully this helps you too.

In my case, secure boot has been enabled so far, and the error persists. Now, I have also enabled memory integrity protection, but tfva1011 has not fixed! Therefore, enabling both options (secure boot, memory integrity) does not fix the issue for everyone.

This is new for me as well, their own report system on the website required an error code (like TFGA002 or smth) and this doesn't give one so idk what kinda ban this is.
They haven't reached out to me and i raised a ticket yesterday.

since 1.5 deployables add weight to arena throwables, so they travel less distance when thrown, right, the red canisters have different physics so they like travel in moon gravity when they have stuff on them, the funny snukes. but now, for some reason only for the red canisters, C4, breach charge, and motion sensors, they don't add mass to red canisters the same way as they did in 1.5, when thrown with these stuck to it, the canister acts like before 1.5 where the trajectory becomes a bit chaotic but it still travels a fair distance, but if you put any mines on it instead, it works like a snuke. i remember testing these in 1.5 and c4 definitely made red canisters snukes then.
this is exclusive to red canisters, other throwables work the same as any with any deployable adding mass.

Weapons can be changed during tournament by leaving, changing primary loadout, and reconnecting. I believe this only works if you alter your loadout prior to the first round (in game lobby).

Edit: I think what happened is I altered my loadout in lobby, started the game, left (resetting to primary loadout) and reconnected with my primary instead of my altered loadout.

To appeal the ban, the player needs to reach out to support using the chat on the website. The chat is barely functional though.

1. Whenever you receive a response to your ticket, the ticket closes automatically. This leaves you unable to respond to the staff on the ticket and you always have to open a new one. The staff also keep telling you to respond on the same ticket, but it isn't possible. Basically the chat is borderline useless in its current state, increasing the workload for the staff and the person reaching out.

2. The responses you receive from the staff seem to be mostly automated and there's no indication you're talking to an actual human. The answers are very vague in nature and when you ask a follow-up question for example if Logitech GHUB is currently flagged as unathorized software, the response doesn't even acknowledge you've asked about the specific sofware. Obviously staff cant give specific answers in every circumstance to avoid revealing crucial information about the AC, but that's not the issue here.

I'd like you to relay this feedback to people who can address these issues.

There's two steps:
-> Selecting Proton Experimental Bleeding-Edge in the betas tab:

-> In your library, make sure you can see not just installed games but tools as well.
-> Open the properties on Proton Experimental. If it isn't installed, install it now.
-> Go to Betas, and select bleeding-edge. Ignore the label stretching across the entire window, that's a Steam Bug. 
-> Bleeding-Edge should download automatically, if not then click update on Proton Experimental's play button.

-> Setting Bleeding Edge as the default in THE FINALS

-> Right-click on THE FINALS and go to properties -> Compatibility
-> Tick "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
-> Select Proton Experimental from the list. 

Additionally, if you get crashes afterwards, try Proton Hotfix as well as some crashes in this game were fixed there too. (Proton Experimental Bleeding-Edge should also have them though)

Also, one more thing; don't activate voice chat for now as it's crashing Proton clients again since patch 1.6

DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG is your actual issue if you read all of the report, not the MISSING_ANGELSCRIPT_CALLSTACK thing people usually refer to the crash as being.

This points to your graphics driver reporting that your GPU actually hung.
Now, this could be a bug with the game, or your DRAM speeds aren't stable.

I've seen an unstable DRAM overclock cause issues with graphics drivers before myself, although last time that happened to me was in a different game. (Overwatch 1, it was notorious for being sensitive to this sort of thing)

That said, are you running an NVIDIA graphics card? Because I've also seen a similar crash affect Apex Legends, and it was later discovered it was an NVIDIA driver issue in that game's case.

Something else to try; if you're running a VRAM overclock, try reverting to stock clock speeds.

If it's a self-build, try reseating your DRAM to start with. If you're running a DDR4 speed higher than 2666MHz, try setting it to 2666MHz in your BIOS/UEFI as that's apparently the supported memory speed for that CPU.

Otherwise I'm willing to chalk this up to some bad interaction between THE FINALS and AMD's D3D12 driver, aka. not much else you can do on your side.

Sounds like you have either too little GFX memory or too little RAM. Does your system meet or exceed the minimum requirements? I started playing this on a 2GB card, I'd get that message every hour or two. Easy fix is to restart the client every few rounds.

If you throw any barrel and flick your mouse up it inverts the direction the barrel gos and throws it at the floor its inverted for every direction (flick down it'll throw it up left is right and right is left). update your drivers, activate windows security settings correctly, enable safe boot mode on pc, on steam right click on The Finals and click properties then change the launch options to -d3d11, also on there try to verify the games files
another fix is to cap your FPSs to your monitor refresh rate

but the solution that worked for me is to disable XMP in the BIOS

I suggest that the staff pin these possible fixes somewhere, because it solves most of the problems (JK some of these fixes are in a pinned post on this channel)

Tried exit lag with no change unfortunately. This is why I think it might be a server version missmatch or has something to do with an account from the early days (beta etc).

If anybody at embark is reading this the launch bug where the game gets to the EAC screen then closes with no message is back with 1.6.0. It was fixed with 1.5.5, then returned with 1.6.0. The hotfix, 1.6.1, and the 1.7 patch also did not fix it. I have tried the following:

Restarting my computer

Re-installing the game

Re-installing EAC

Verifying the files

Killing every non essential process and program in task manager

Any help resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem, I reinstalled Windows, then did not install G-HUB (kboard sftwre) and it worked. Also messing with driver files tends to cause this for some reason.

I have received some sort of an answer to all of my tickets and I have opened multiple new tickets to submit extensive amounts of evidence. I have literally a terabyte of gameplay recorded since launch.

The issue is that the staff always tell me the following: "I will make sure to check what is happening and will reach out to you again in the main thread." But they never get back to me in main thread. Either staff simply hasn't responded, or the ticket system is fundamentally bugged where players cannot see the staff's responses on the tickets past the 1st response. The tickets seem to automatically close whenever you receive a single response. Other players who have reached out through support have the exact same problem where the tickets auto close.

Is there any sort of possibility to get a staff member to reach out to you through a different channel other than the chat/ticket system on the website?

Yeah, it seems to be a desync issue.
You can usually fix it by swapping off and back on.
CL-40 seems to suffer from it the most due to the constant reloading.
I call it "jamming" as it's what it feels like.
Sometimes, this affect spreads to your whole kit like a "super jam" and I've fixed it by picking something up and throwing it.

Hi, my game is missing some textures, whenever i shoot concrete or trees, giant blocks of grey static block my view and follow my pov when i move. I have tried verifying files, redownloading the game entirely, changing all my graphic settings, and made sure my drivers were updated. I'd love some help with this so i can start playing the game again :) I have played 50 hrs before with no issues so im not sure why all of a sudden it happens

There is a bug where people are putting charges on explosive bottles and it is causing a nuke explosion and hundreds of damage. I guess its more of an exploit, hopefully it gets take out soon. Nobody is interested in playing this game while its still an issue. And to those of you still exploiting, i challenge you to get better.

Hello, for everyone having the 'TFGE0003' error, try checking your Windows Firewall rules. I remembered that I had a rule that blocks EU servers on Overwatch (It also blocked The Finals servers). When I deleted that rule, I did not get the error code again.

My idea adresing the nerfs :

1. Nukes. (keep the damage numbers, keep the mechanic of them so they can be attached to anything, but just nerf the total stacks to 1.(in each heavy loadout) This will make the total damage so low that will not be able to one shot mediums, and the only possibility to create a nuke would be to find a red can but also run double heavy to have 2 c4s. This will nerf a gadget slot if you go for this and in my mind it can be pretty balanced.
2. Recon - Remove the activation toggle mechanic and replace it with a cooldown ability that can be activated once for a brief moment (like 2 seconds)every 30 seconds or so that quickly snapshots all enemy position within maximum radius and make the teammates also see what the recon sees. (somewhat similar to bloodhound in apex).
   What does this do - it makes recon a support / reposition tool that works even without being in voice chat and it is NOT used for prefire in combat.

hey I have an issue I have been playing for the whole season now and I have spent money and have a decent amount of stuff on THE FINALS however I went to link my twitch to get some twitch drops and it asked if I would like to link my steam as well as I had logged in with Xbox. I agreed and it said it would merge some accounts I thought okay as it will keep all the stuff and maybe have some extra things. When I went to see the drops I had just claimed and I was on a level 1 account that had nothing. It was my same name and steam picture and everything but I had nothing. I had an account from the beta version that was called NimbleHunter so I am wondering if when I linked my steam it delete that account and that had all my items on but it said I was merging accounts so that makes no sense. I have waited the 48 hours to unlink steam but cant seem to log in to NimbleHunter and no way to even find the account. I would like to have my stuff back as I love your game but if u cant I would like a refund so i can re buy the items I lost on this new account you have given me.
