For your finals style songs do you have a specific tempo range you prefer to work in. I typically write in the 60-80 range because I like slower prices but I'm guessing shredding guitar and E-Piano runs would want a faster tempo

Should I be using the shak and winch in low elo?
Its honestly up to you. I'm not sure what the ranked meta is but in WT I can run shak with goo and be fine. If you're low elo run whats comfortable.
I feel like I am always two bullets short when running it and have a hard time finishing kills. Not sure if I should run a different kit or just work on my aim with the shak
I personally like the m60 better than the shak in most situations. The recoil is easier to manage and has a longer sustained fire and its one that seems to be used in higher elos was well. There's no shame in switching if you need to while you work on the shak in casual modes.

The higher you go the more you'll see. SA-12 and winch are the defined meta for heavy atm
I can tell you for sure that these skins change the reload animations:
- The water-gun skin for flamethrower
- The stick skin for the revolver
- The CD player skin for FCAR
- The Rambo skin for M60
- The S6 target-pistol skin for V9S
- The alien skins for V9S and Pike

The top competitive players like Bizzy actually use the shak 50 which pairs well with winch claw. M60 is definitely another great option but isn't as good to pair with winch since DPS isnt amazing so alternative would be the SA. Mesh shield might be a better pairing for M60.

im bad at teaching others stuff but mostly
try fighting inside, avoid fighting outside at all costs
then ig try to remember how many and which attack you need to kill em
light: 1 overhead OR 2 horizontal
medium: 1 overhead + 1 horizontal OR 3 horizontal
heavy: 1 overhead + 2 horizontal OR 2 overheads
try to slide into your enemies to extend your range a bit
try to attack when your enemies are clustered up (like in the vid) because the horizontal attack has multihit so you damage all of them
uhh what else
use goo grenades for cover and to throw behind enemies running away if you can safely catch up, irritates them most of the time and just keeps them in one place
dont chase enemies (especially outside), not worth it, let your teammates deal with that

I usually play winch Shak or Winch Akimbo, when I tried mesh I had hard Time with the animation, when I cancel my shield I feel like it take ages before I can shoot again
I also help "coach" sometimes if you wanna basic rundown of what I know, tho I'm not the best obviously. Mic isn't required but makes life much easier

hey did something new happen with flamethrower happen? I've been noticing it alot more in my matches today.
I don't think the flamethrower has changed, I think the changes to the riot shield and dual blades have made them more popular and flamethrower is a good counter to those
20 seconds with both portals, infinitely if only one, the singular one breaks if you go 70 meters away from it

Yāall Iām getting tired of the winch claw. Maybe itās a desync issue but thereās so many times I get pulled in by this thing when I felt like I shouldāve been way out of range or behind cover. People called the stun gun a free kill button and I agree that shit was unfun to play against, but the winch claw is even worse in my opinion. Such a cheese spec the hit box is insanely generous and thereās so many times Iāve outplayed a heavy in every way and then they winch me and sa12 and Iām dead. Also as a heavy enjoyer from time to time itās caused so many issues for heavyās weapon balancing
Is the Cerberus shotgun a "bad" weapon? I guess I could be playing wrong, but I feel like it's super hard to get any kills-should I focus more on support with that weapon? Any tips?

It's hard to use and relies on positioning a lot, kind of like the double barrel
I would prioritize staying with the team and doing chip damage over rushing in by yourself as you want to isolate 1v1's with it
but if you are able to flank and catch someone from surprise you can do a lot

Winch is quite literally a worse stun. Stun was only a "free kill" against melee/bad players, which could be avoided with proper positioning and aim. With winch you're just fucked š
Its not great. Mediocre damage per mag and terrible range. It got overnerfed so its kinda bad rn, but still serviceable.
Riot cant really do anything if you just run away. If you have dash its basically impossible for them to hit you if you space yourself.
If you see a riot and one of their teammates, you can literally just ignore the riot and go for the teammate. With half decent spacing they shouldnt be an issue

In a 1v1 you can just chip them down and space yourself, if you're using db its a bit harder since riot is better against shotguns, but you can still slowly whittle at them. If you have dash then you can get more value from qm.
Playing around corners is strong since it has a good burst, but you really need to get up close to get real value from it. Also try to use a qm when you fight heavies especially since then you dont need to wait for the burn dot kill them
But yeah, its just not very good rn š

ok so, im sure we all can agree the demat is very strong and fun, and nerfing it probliy isnt the best way to fix how good it is with yoinking cashouts.
so i suggest an alterative idea,
how about if someone try's to demat a wall that the cashout is adjacent too, that insted of it instantly removing the wall, the wall blinks red like 3 times and makes a noise and if someone who owns the cashout clicks on the cashout the cashout does alil shock and prevents the wall from demating and they still lose the demat charge.
also u could do this with a glitch nade instead of needing to interact with the cashout, also the glitch nade could prevent the wall from being demated for like 10s.

as i understand it embark's design philosophy's to avoid having multiple guns on classes where possible, so itd need to have a low shot count with lower player damage than the RPG, it specializing in taking out turrets at a longer range would be interesting tho

I really hope embark adds more melee, like for medium they could add brass knuckles where the alt fire swings it like a meteor hammer, for heavy they could get a great axe or sword like a montante where the alt fire slashes downward doing massive damage at the cost of movement, for light they could get nunchucks
The nunchucks alt fire could have it parry melee attacks if hit, kinda like the dual blades alt fire

Either you whip it out and have to press another button to shoot it put, you can hold the button down as long as you want, or their is an indicator on what you can winch when winch is ready.
This seems like it would be worse on the userās end than just waiting until your crosshair lines up to trigger the winch
The necessarily introduced response time delay by such a system could end up making aiming actively harder, when the user tries to deploy it immediately

Embark you should swap the jumpad to a specialization and maybe make it a mega jumpad. It will give mediums the choice betweeen jumpad and demat, and would open up the inventory more so you can play other gadgets

What I wanted to formally convey to you today (that I did so previously in an aggressive and unprofessional manner) is that I display a major distain towards the "Light" class when the SH1900 Double Barrel Shotgun is equipped. The 13x15 damage from a single shot presents a problem to my enjoyment of the game and I believe it should be considered as a "busted and broken" weapon, and thus "nerfed" by the game studio Embark.

The reason why Embark still buff Light class is because the most hardly class to dominate is the first option for new players or casual players, they saw reels and Tik Toks of a Top 500 doing a Team Wipe with Light or just likes the speed and time to kill. Obviously The Finals need more than only shoot and run, so that argument about 33/33/33 % of victory is something impossible because that's only the balance theory

The reason why embark is still buffing light is because it's the easiest class for new players to start with. It's not op or above the other classes but it has answers to every situation and is the hardest to be dominated. So many People play light because they see reels and tik toks of rubies wiping teams with light or just like the fast run for gun playstyle but it isn't completely unbalanced. achieving an even play and win rate (33%/33%/33%) is only a balancing fantasy because one class will always have a more widely appealing playstyle.

With new super lunge it's honestly not bad. You can replace most of the dashes uses with well timed super lunges and keep the grapple for it's utility
I think it could be strong on maps like Kyoto to get flank angles or for a quick escape when there isn't any cover close by. also being able to spam left click while grappling lets you kill other dash-lights regardless if they have sight on u first or not
you mean dash jumping not superlunging right? cause yeah I just dash jump pretty much everywhere and slide cancel after for rotations, even with dash. then I just use dash in combat. not having dash in combat feels ass tho. that's my only complaint
When you play in higher elo lobbies the dash lights have an advantage if they see you first and can basically force a retreat. But if you see them first you need to bait out their dashes before grappling in. Unless you have really good grapple control

Teach her mesh flame heavy. It's far easier, has good movement for a heavy build, and let's you just 1v1 bitches. Plus has good 3v1 capabilities and a free getaway if you good with dome. The biggest thing she'll need to learn is situational awareness, it's much more required in this game than others. Probably don't play ranked with her tho, through her in some quick play for a while just to goof off. Maybe even show her sledge, that shit is fun for casual
I've also found for some reason women tend to like the riot shield, show her how to sideways run and let her go ham in like tdm or quick cash. Promise she'll probably enjoy it. I don't know why I've just seen a trend of girls playing flamethrower and riot shield

Honestly, if I had my way theyād just spend a season rebalancing all the gadgets we already have and Iād be happy. Thereās gadgets for each class that are must picks, and have been since their release, if you wanna be at all competitive and I hate that. I donāt want to feel like Iām throwing if I donāt have defib and jump pad equipped on medium. That only leaves me 1 gadget to play around with, and some just plain suck compared to others. I want more gadget variety in this game, Iām getting tired of fighting the same ones on every class every game

My logic is what shakes up metas more.
Specs are the highest on that list so they need to be balanced first. Then guns are next for meta dominance. And lastly gadgets. Specs change everything, weapons change fights, and gadgets change counter play. Logisticly gadgets of handled right will be the least destructive to the meta and we need specs and weapons ironed out first before we can balance there counter play.

My idea for keeping turret a spec would be
- Increase the turn speed a little bit
- Make it track people 360° but keep the current gun movement so it'll take longer to lock onto you if you approach of from behind
- When it shoots someone they get pinged for 3 sec
- It heals allies the same way the heal ball for heavy does. But instead of actually healing them it just starts there natural Regen
So now it's a good recon and retreat option that gives some team support. You can place it to cover flanks or place it in an adjacent room as a retreat spot. Or use it to hunker down on the point but it's high ttk and low healing make it not to oppressive

If I had to guess the most likely identifiable cause would be the red canister's position being momentarily desynced between the server and that player for whatever reason, and its correction to its proper position causing an unusual circumstance that the collision engine solves with a bit of brute force
I don't think the game uses UE5's default collision detection systems, that would surprise me for a game with this kind of destructible environment

Being stuck in a multisecond animation because of a missclick (tried to ads with rpg, was still on spear) prevented me from blowing up my cashout before, lost it
I do like the riskiness of committing to the right click attack but they could curb it a little, misclicks are such a pain
perhaps if the first hit has not connected, you should be able to cancel it simply by letting go of right click

I use almost exclusively HealBeam myself. Iāll only use demat if a Heavy isnāt on the team. And a Heavy should always be on the team
Healing beam is bad in terms that it is specialisation, and that only specialisation that getting overperformed by a gadget(H1 infuser)

The issue with H+ is that itās incredibly OP, a Light with H+ ensures you win a gunfight due to Health Diff, it heals too much too fast for the HealBeam to compete, with none of the risks the HealBeam has, while itās a gadget. So even if we buffed HealBeam, now we have two very strong things to play against.
Or, we just nerf H+.

Defib doesn't need a buff. It's still a must pick gadget and you will never be able to stop absolute brainlets from reviving you in front of the enemy team.
Contrary to popular belief you donāt have to run defib 24/7. Rather than having a gadget to reverse team deaths you can bring a gadget that prevents it in the first place. Bring goo to block LoS and make cover, a mobility tool to escape bad situations, grenades to kill bad guys or whatever else

Defib is a powerful gadget but it is by no means a mustpick. Iām not saying this to be a contrarian, Mediums was intended to be the support class and has appropriate tools. But the identity of medium is what they have access to and what they bring to the team. Not specifically the tools they have access to āļø š¤

It is a must pick. Look at anyone taking the game seriously above gold ... you are throwing if you don't pick defib. High level play literally revolves around killing the Medium to prevent the Defib. It's literally the best initial kill you can get in any given engagement

Pretty much every class has a must pick tho. You won't see a decent Heavy without Dome or a Light without Gateway. There are certain gadgets that are basically part of each class's identity when looking at the current meta.

If you havenāt become familiar with Sanguine Nights (finals YouTuber that mains medium) Iād highly suggest watching some of his gameplay. He uses mines instead of defibs and generally reaches Ruby

Give light a beanbag shotgun that pushes enemies backwards and only does body shot damage.
Plays like a slow, less accurate KS
HML will always be viable and arguably the most balanced setup.
