also this weapon needs a complementary gadget LIKE A magnetic trap to slow enemies or something. Light class has a lot of gadgt for sword and medium has nothing
i want to see an opportunity to be able to throw heavy spear, cus spear slows your movement when you attack, so light with dashes easily kills you

hot take we have a new gadget that one does 50 damage by simply being thrown at an oponent. Similar to how any carriable does in the game. But we can have one on us at all times incase your gun is reloading or you just need to do a little bit more dammage that doesnt wasnt to be used by your gun or could possible dammage you in any way. It could litterly just be like a ball that travels at a slow speed but does 50 dammage and has like a 30sec cooldown.

CnS is easy to counter, and ppl just wont get that.
It makes a lot of noise, and is slower than evas dash, grapple, jump pad, etc in emergency situations, and if ur at a long distance, anti grav cube, zipline, etc.
Ive literally done these myself, and unless the heavy started charging at sledge hammer distance, ur good to go

what if you had increased melee range when holding bow
so after hitting a good charge shot instead of chasing them around with dash or trying to hit another lucky shot you can melee as a finisher
Make FAMAS have more recoil sway
Quick melee using the bow is just swinging your bow to hit them with extra range, or just stabbing them with the arrow
You could reduce the recoil on the R357 by 75% and it would still be worse than so many weapons. Whys the recoil so bonkers? Is it secretly good without it?
considering every shot matters a LOT reducing the recoil would make it really good
consider you two shot medium and light, less recoil makes the second shot free

famas should be a standard mid range weapon
and 556 is ok now,its a nice long range DMR for me
famas soposed to be is close to mid, its kind of a mix between the Fcar and the AK. the Pike is supposed to be Medium to long because of its horribly hip fire accuracy. the famas is in a weird place rn, along with the 93R, as both the light and the medium have better close or edium range weapons.
I think it is little over buffed in terms of recoil in s3. Then they give a good scope in this season and people realized that it is an really good and easy to use weapon. Maybe a little too good but not broken.

Famas just isnt too offensively good or bad for the sight to really matter much. Holo gives you some range I suppose but I rarely find that it does much better than your average spray of a SCAR magazine

well you can put a zip line upwards and jump pads have more control with where you want to go, heavy already has the grav cube and if they buff its speed of acenct then I dont see deployable ladder being added any thyme soon.

Give light recon senses: but rework it to where they have access to a mini map with a colored fog in the general area of other teams as opposed to wall hacks.

This grants limited access to a mini map, and only general information about other teamsā whereabouts, and also requires people to choose to equip it and then communicate the information to their team (either by mic or by pinging on the map which then shows up in their teammatesā fov). So it provides valuable information without being OP, and without fundamentally changing the nature of the game.

A 2 second rewind specialization kinda like tracer would be kinda of dope for lights it would allow for quick change in positioning. Also it can reload a weapon that was shot in those previous 2 seconds.

Nah, a stim could recover 25 HP, or if you're full health, increase max HP to 175 for like 10 secs, two charges, with a 2 second lockout between charges, so that way Lights could either heal for 50 HP total, or get 200 HP for 8 secs
I think light should have a grapple gadget akin to the vanish bomb, the vanish bomb is basically free cloak with the addition of cloaking team mates, maybe make a grapple gadget with less range than the typical grapple specialty

because a grapple hook is a grapple hook no matter how you look at it. Cloak spec works different to vanish bomb
vanish bomb shows where it landed, lasts for less time, and is one time use so its quite different from cloak

grapple is already single use and i have no clue what you mean by leave rope behind, so the only difference is its shorter range?
Vanish bomb leaves a big purple stain or whatever on the floor, signaling to everyone it was used
Grapple could leave a pile of rope behind on the ground where the player used it similar to this
Grapple is also single use, but you can spam it until it latches onto something
This gadget grapple would be 1 throw, and if you miss, you miss and have to wait for it it recharge
M11, V9S and LH1 are the better options right now I believe
the purple stain is effective because it tells people "hey theres someone invisible around here, be careful" since the grapple is a movement ability having a rope doesnt do anything because your likely leaving anyways.
being one time use even if you miss is a nerf, but will just make it annoying and clunky to use.
I think it's a worthwhile trade off if you know how to use it so you can run Dash + Grapple Gadget /Cloak + Grapple gadget for more versatility,
People starting out probably would have a hard time using it sure, but they could learn on the more forgiving grapple specialty then move to the gadget

Trash like explosions making it fall over easily, target priority based on who is closest and not the first target which spreads its damage (it doesnāt rack up dps very fast so splitting chip isnāt good)
The placement options arenāt good either, the snapping is unreliable and annoying to get on anything even a little narrow. It already has a 5 second startup so increasing the distance in which you can place it by a few meters (like 3m) wouldnāt lead to issues like placing it behind an enemy team as theyāre engaging or deep inside a room where the enemy is holed up

After your death, you will be reborn after the death timer in the place where the device was installed. When you are reborn, the device will not work. It needs to be removed and wait for the recharge to be reinstalled. it will be a change as the only 'long range weapon heavy has was deagles and lewis, but the deagles are more of a long range pick dmg gun while lewis is crownd control and just has ammo, so a more 'dedicated' medium to long range dueling rifle will be cool.
I think it would be nice if light got a single shot grenade launcher as a new weapon, we dont really have any AOE weapons in light

I think light needs a gadget like adrenaline which gives him even 20 more hp and it starts health regen instantly, whit a solid cooldown it would be amazing to make it more viable in high Elo, light currently has little to no space in high level , especially with the model and shotgun meta
I think this interaction would be niche itās already easy to get the cash box through without any aid. Iām interested in the combo between classes. For example when somebody goes to steal pulling the cashout onto a jump pad or how winch interacts with pulled objects, thatās where the real fun will start

Heavy has RPG, C4, a panic button that can deal even 300 damage and that requires no skill whatsoever (charge nd slam), a chain that can pull anyone to you and that can edit cashouts to get an advantage in defending, light is the weakest class in the game, if you think light is broken then Iām sorry to let you know but any player that has a competitive experience will tell you that itās a you problem

Agree. I use the custom crosshair of my monitor. Bullets fly not to the aiming point, but to the center of the screen. Visual shaking is not related to the actual recoil.

There's nothing stopping you from just turning around and running away from the sword guy, he's not light. Swords need mobility, either through specialization or unique mechanics.
I feel like if the deflect is going to just spray in random directions rather than where you're aiming, the damage you take needs to be drastically reduced or removed. Or keep the damage you take now, and make it similar to genji's deflect that's an actual 1 to 1. I would love NOTHING more than to deflect a sniper shot from across the map and get a headshot kill

99% of these heavies play hook, or break your face with slam. On them melee weapons are quite playable, precisely because of specializations. Mid does not have such.
Giving dual blades a slight speed boost could also be fun, maybe like the middle point between light and medium run speeds? Would give them a slight boost without being busted

Nah I wouldn't go into the area of class specific damage, that gets very messy very quickly
that is fair, but the one thing heavy is lacking is movement, and the one thing light doesnt need any more of is movement. especially one that will stack with other things (as it is a buff and not an actual ability) is one thing we do not need.
Still, I stand by my point. The cumulative effect of kinetic energy from the deflect, and the rapid reduction of the distance for a heavy attack. This is a fair mechanic.

One of my friends, when he first started playing, wrote a mouse macro that would hold the crouch timing so you could shoot from the hip. McCree-style shooting in The Finals looks really nice.

Seems like an attempt to even the playing field when it comes to all the close range weapons Heavy has.
As it is currently, Dash Lights, Demat Mediums (in certain situations), and Jump Pad can basically nullify the SA1216, Flamethrower, Spear, and Sledgehammer. The MGL32 to a certain extent as well.
Ideally, it forces you to fight the Heavy, but still be able to win.

They could add a legit separate equipment that are magic based, I'd be down with that too. There's just more creativity that's allowed with skins instead of creating new equipment and having to balance it. Again, I'm fine with new equipment anytime.

- aps should have a dome shaped range indicator instead of a flat circle
- gas should be easier to see through than smoke
- Data reshaper should have an indicator of its effective area where you point it
- ally mines should have a toggle to show the trigger range for ease of use (debatable, depends on where you want the skill gap)
- The effects for sonar effects and dashing should have a toggle to reduce the particles for accessibility (motion sickness, strobe effects, etc)
- Heavy grenade launcher should give you a bounce indicator when you scope in

I think the high damage up-close stuff makes sense for light given it's class nature, but the weapons with a longer effective range kind of deviate from what the class is suppose to be about to me.

I think that the super long range weapons such as the sniper almost deviate from how any class should really play this game

Not really. It has a very high dps and a short ttk, but it's range is absolutely horrendous unless you have amazing aim or are going for chip damage

the higher damage per shot weapons the medium has can help finish off opponents or "soften up" multiple people if needed for the team while not being extremely op in 1v1 situations due to their slower ttk

The Light class needs more supportive type gadgets like the gateway
It's lack of them is probably why it's so rare to see lights in higher levels of the game.
No lights rarer higher up because they have so little health and rely on the enemy missing shots to win straight 1v1s

The point in annoyance is one of the importanest in weapon balancing.
