So I finally got around to trying the heat vison an I dunno if it's jus me, but does anyone else find it super clumsy to use? Might seem like a small thing to change but I think a huge QoL buff for it would be to jus trigger it the second you press it's gadget button instead of pulling out a tablet to use it an then accidentally turning it right back off an wasting your cooldown.
RPG needs a rework, its currently an insta death for lights making the playing experience unenjoyable. My suggestion is to cap the 140 direct hit to a 95 direct, slightly increase the aoe and increase the dmg to structures. Also reduced self damage when firing at feet and increase cooldown by a small amount (1 sec maybe?)

In the current version, the weapons that large characters can use generally have a short range. Can the heavy machine guns for large characters be remade in the next version? Add a new heavy machine gun, and then modify the values of the original two heavy machine guns, so that the values of the heavy machine guns are balanced based on the rate of fire/damage/recoil/effective range. In this way, each heavy machine gun has at least one advantage. Otherwise, we really can't find the reason why medium characters are not used if they want to play with guns, or why large characters have no other weapons to choose from except hammers and flamethrowers.

I'll bite. Here's my ideas for wishlist items.
Light
-93r: Make this a dual wield gun. If for no other reason than to give us a skin to look like the guy from the guns akimbo movie
---Specialization: Parkour. This is an easy sell, this would give lights similar movement abilities to that in Mirror's Edge.
Essentially base movement speed (not sprinting) is 25% faster. Your sprint now has a stamina bar an you can perform various parkour interactions while holding sprint button down.
-I.E wall run. Pressing and holding sprint while jumping at a wall allows you to wall run while consuming stamina bar (while wall running you preserve momentum).
-Wall bounce. Jump at a wall an press specialization keybind to double jump off of the wall in the opposite direction with an increased distance.
-Dive roll. Pressing sprint while in a slide performs a short distance combat roll also reducing damage taken during the roll.
-Ledge climb. You no longer automatically mantle climb, instead jumping near a ledge makes you grab onto it so you can move sideways etc. Pressing forward completes the climb. While hannging on to the ledge stamina bar is consumed.
Medium
---Gadget: Grav nade. Thrown underhand, knocks all targets hit away from blast. Thrown overhand an creates a singularity where lands slowing an pulling people towards the center.

Heavy
Spec:
M134- go look at the copypasta the guy has in the feedback channel, it's a good idea that I like.
Mortar/turret- set up a mortar, interact with it to use it. Arcing shots, high DMG, and destruction. Alternatively, just make an hmg turret with high DMG and destruction but no aoe. I want a turret pwease.
Sonic ram- a tool that fires a massive sonic blast on use. Deals minimal DMG, but knocks back enemies and destroys massive portions of walls. If an enemy is knocked into a wall, extra DMG is dealt. It also concusses enemies, slowing and distorting the screen.
Weapons:
Micro missile launcher- shoots missiles that explode with a low rof but high DMG, no falloff, like 30-40 round mag, high destruction. Projectile based.
Particle cannon- a charge up shotgun. Each pellet deals small dmg, like 5 or so, and is fired in a massively inaccurate spread, but there's like 100 of them. Requires a half second charge up or so, and only has one shot before reload.
Spear- allow cancelling of secondary fire/make it a spear throw.
Gadgets:
C4- increase the number you can have out at once, but not stack size. Also reduce arming time a bit.
Beacon- I want an airstrike or orbital railgun beacon, it would cause a solid vertical line of destruction with heavy DMG, but a warning for people in the aoe.
Pyro drone- a throwable that looks like a lil airplane, after being thrown it homes towards an enemy. It goes forward quickly, and doesn't really change direction beyond like 30 degrees or so. Has a smaller AOE but has hit DMG to differentiate from pyro nade.
Rpg- reduce AOE DMG, give it on hit DMG. So if you hit it, it can one shot or do massive DMG, but if you don't it only deals like 30-40 dmg. Should be for destruction, not DMG.
Medium
Spec:
Recon senses- reworked to be a single ping that shows to the whole team. I don't like medium being the support class but also being the only one that can't scout.
Weapons:
Some sort of normal shotgun with actual spread unlike the 1887
Laser rifle- shoots a solid, bouncing beam with tick damage that increases on a single target the longer you shoot it. The beam has falloff, and it gets larger as it loses damage. At some point, it completely disappears.
Gyrojet carbine- as pistol, but with more bullets and lower DMG. Probably also a worse starting DMG but a better DMG multiplier at long range.
Famas- gimme a scope and maybe some better ranged DMG
FCAR- undo that stupid ass change, go back to more DMG less bullets
Gadgets:
Hacking dart- can hit allies, enemies and can shoot yourself. Gives the recipient a buff to all stats, but after like 10 seconds the buffs wear off and are replaced with a nerf to all stats that's more extreme than the buffs.
Acid grenade- as dart, but lasts less time and in an aoe
SSR- some sort of medium ranged DMR / SSR pls

Light
Specs:
stim- works like TF2 stim pilot, give a speed boost and heal back to full, plus Regen for a sec like hd2 stims. OSPUZE skin where you drink it.
Jump pack- keeping up the TF2 theme, this spec has a fuel bar. You can double jump, using some fuel, or press the key to toggle the ability to wallrun on/off, which uses fuel as you run.
Weapons:
TKs- DMG lowered, change primary to an attack combo where you do 2 normal attacks and then a heavy attack with a long cooldown after the heavy attack or after you stop firing.
93R- PLEASE BUFF TS PLEAAAAAAASE
Honey badger- a weapon with high (almost AR) level DMG, and a fire rate higher than the ars but lower than the smgs. This affords it the highest DPS or close to it. However, it has terrible recoil, bad falloff, and only like 20 rounds. Epitome of amazing hard stats, terrible soft stats.
Gyrojet pistol- a pistol firing small rockets that get faster as they fly. This allows them to deal more damage the farther they go. They are projectiles, and it has a relatively low fire rate, but high DMG up to maybe 70 at max range to compensate.
Gadgets:
Acid dart- a small gun that shoots a dart, the dart deals a small amount of DPS and stops all healing from being received.
Sticky magnet. Sticks to players or surfaces and attracts all nearby canisters and placed gadgets (mines, C4, etc). Can be thrown like a grenade, if that too OP it can work like a c4 (can’t be thrown far and you have to activate it)
there should fire if there was a double barrel skin that was similar to the L.E.Demon face mask
Heavy specialization: (ik it has the most but itd be so fun)
A placeable turret that your allies can get on, its stationary

And an explosive with an 11 meter radius is incredibly easy to land. You can kill yourself if you decide to shoot it at your feet, sure. Just don't do that.

Of all the RPG viewpoints, I lean toward this one. Not so much that light is OP but that heavy feels helpless against them without RPG. Too many ways to die from just outside your weapon’s range. RPG keeps the lights from beaming you with no consequences

Well that was the M60 pre nerfs. I guess they didn't want it good at all ranges...
it may throw off the balance to give heavy a long range rifle, but if they ever do i'd nominate the Boys anti-tank. It fits the motif of "big gun for big man", the bolt action and five round mag can allow for slower RPM and the fact it's sights are on the side due to being top-fed can help add challenge of use/skill requirement (general magnification like the KS-23 instead of a scope or ADS).
they nerfed the damage from 23 to 19 that thing is a joke this season i used so many times and feels sooooooo diferente at comparation in season 1 and middle of season 2

i mean like sa1216 has a huge mag and good firerate so damage at range isnt that bad but the sh1900 is so shit past 10m its not worth engaging
I probably should have said every shotgun besides the SH1900, that's my bad. As for the SA1216, I feel like being able to bring a full HP medium to half at that range with hipfire and without rotating the tube is a bit much. I think it comes from the design mindset of "STK should be at least 1 - ¾ of a mag" and they loosely treated one tube as one mag, but it does feel like a bit much to have a seemingly close range burst weapon do damage like that from as far as I did
then again the XP-54 can shred just as easily, so I may just be overreacting and the overall TTK/STK is just like that

•All members of the Props are given the data reshaper
•Props are given X seconds to reshape before Assassins can leave spawn point
•Props can "store" a specific reshape for their next use by using alt-fire on a prop
Different systems could be worked in like the Props needing to complete some sort of objective or teams at a significant round disadvantage getting buffs (Demos get explosives, Props get traversal tools), but the core concept is there.

data reshaped should let us turn enemy statues into objects which hides their location to their team for x seconds
I think gateway should give you xp towards the unlockable weapon skins when you teleport the cash box. It is the only gadget in my kit that I dont have fully leveled up because it seems you only get exp for teleporting your team which is rare when playing ranked. Typically you drop the first on top of the vault and then run towards the cashout with your team and only the vault teleports which is a big utility to the team in my opinion and should also receive XP.

The shotgunners game is to get close. It's honestly not OP. It keeps you in check an allows you to understand that FUNDAMENTALLY YOUR OVERCOMMITTING to whatever the situation may be. You could easily out gun the shotty from 10-15 meters if you play right. You can't just go balls deep in a fight against a shotgun without attempting to flush em out. Use your utility an canisters around you. Slow down an have the shotgunners play your game.

@rancid haven when creating my loadout an customizing my reserves It varies heavily. As a LIGHT your team has to trust you to frag out but because of your availability to mobility you can play a role as a silent scout. But you have to play the OBJ an only the OBJ an a medic. Kills will come about when defending or securing.
Heres my take on what id use if I used the throwing knives;
Spec: Evasive dash
Gadget 1: Smoke grenades (recent buff allows you to carry three an will conceal your colored outline, health bar a bit quicker as well as your trail left from Evasive dash or movement)
Gadget 2: Sonar grenades ( your In a Smoked out room in a corner, one sonar grenade will help your team with the information they need to healthily approach threats. Personal possibilities are endless since the element of surprise is in your favor)
Gadget 3: Glitch grenades ( who doesn't back up when getting glitched? you start to heal faster than a heavy or a medium even though your a light. Keep that in mind These grenades may help you an your team by keeping your team on the offensive an preventing an enemy heavy closing the distance which may help you get that cashout
Lights are the only ones that can have smokes an glitch grenades. They are super effective if your the only light on your team in a game of world tour.
Reserves:
On the final round switch the following for the following;
Change sonar grenades for a tracking dart since there is only one team your going against. Don't push to fight but gayer Information. If your able to get both darts placed on two different players your team has to capitalize. Usually if one person is being tracked they will separate themselves from their team to not give your team more Information than they already have.
you may be going against APS turrets. If you get a glitch grenade close enough but not within range of the turret it will affect the APS an will allow you to flush em out.
An I will change smokes for frags in the final round for the sole purpose of information gathering. Whether it's Forcing someone away from a corner getting rid of mines, hurting a sentry gun. Like who is staying in a room with 4 frags total are being thrown in from two different windows. That's where you come in because now their forced to play your game.
...Don't push to fight but gain information....

The model players are clapping players in predictable paths indoors within 10 meters. An there's a good damage drop off at 15-20 meters. You can't ask for more, that's where they shine. If they hit their shots in their own sweet spot they should get the win. If I can't force em to play my game or beat them at theirs, they're just better. Anything past 25-30 meters or so they're literally just preventing you from healing that's it. It'll be unfair that they gotta be as close as the double barrel to get kills. @sand monolith

Disagree. the sniper is good where it's at. As an individual that abused the snipers aim assist in season one I can say that you have to actually learn the skill of using such a weapon now. It's never going to be a grab an go. It's potential lies in the beholder. The user has to value positioning an be a avid communicator. You'll find your self getting a lot of assists or cleaning up kills if your using it right.

It's not easy to get someone that's not stationary at all. If anything reduce the range of the winch claw by 3 meters at most but that's all. Buff the defibrillator. In its current state, it leaves the recently revived person very weak, which gets them killed very quickly. This provides almost no value to the risk of going for the defib. It should instantly revive the person, as well as giving them 10 seconds of invincibility and full health so they can survive

AKM is arguably best. FAMAS and 1887 are very strong in the right hands. FCAR is fair but not as versatile as AK. The others are a lot harder to use well but can still be fun

A player using this weapon can easily fall out of the game, since he hardly interacts with either his team or his opponents - and the developers themselves gave him this opportunity, leaving the SR a hitscan weapon
Making SR a projectile weapon will not affect overall SR gameplay but make it more skill dependant and rewarding and at the same time it force players to play from closer distances
No one will go to the sniper who stands on the other end of the map in the literal sense of the word. But if he's standing a few houses away from your team, it makes sense. That's what I'm trying to say. Now this weapon stands out too much for because of ability to play with it from inadequate distances, at which there is nothing to oppose it. At the same time, the current SR does not break the balance, no, it just annoys and sucks the fun out of the game
- My point is that KS-23 would not break balance or ruin gameplay of players using Guardian Turret (GT) if it will be able to destroy GT in 2 shots but such an opportunity will make this gun and its gameplay more unique. Especially if the KS remains a projectile weapon. We're unlikely to see crowds of people wanting to play it just because of this minor change, but those who like this weapon will get a nice and logical bonus
I see what your saying about the sniper but it's most annoying in terminal attack for sure when the opponents sniper all the way at spawn an there's almost nothing you can do about it. An like you said yes, they're prob at the other end of the map which sucks an no one is going to go an challenge them usually. But more commonly you see that in games of power shift more often than you may see it in other game modes for the most part

With green fog obscuring vision+ most of the time dome is used for like guaranteeing a res or stealing a cash out
You are winning that trade for essentially free every time plus if the heavy or/ and there team are forced out of dome they've sacrificed a lot you sacrificed one / two grenades things that are designed to be spammed.

But with dome, i couldnt, the heavy couldve stayed in the bubble, being totally safe, while also unloading lead into me
if they put it behind a corner they cant shoot you either
and you can always push into the dome if they arent using sledge

KIBA STEP= using the Evasive dash alongside with the secondary charge attack at the same time...but when timed right, you dash towards enemy but without looking back at the enemy you passed you still get the backstab (critical hit)

idk i really like how it feels but ive just been having better luck with the sword or shotgun because i can run up and do the sword's charge attack and then smack them around a bit and it'll usually kill faster, or i run up with the shotgun and BONK, BONK and then dash away, whereas with the m11 i usually just get out damaged, it could totally just be a skill issue i have though (thats usually what it is lol)
shotgun you need to hit two meatshots to be effective against anything other than lights
and sword requires you to get up close
melee/shotgun range of a heavy and is just more dangerous
good for sneaking up on heavies because they are large, and with the m11 you also need to get close because it has a really short damage falloff range

Responsiveness to being shot is very important and when you can't tell where you're taking damage from (demonstrated by the TK) is very strong

They are ridiculously overpowered. and unlimited.... their damage to should be nerfed at least half of their current output,, makes zero sense why it would take a whole clip of a AK47 to kill someone but 2 knives in quick succession is enough to k0 someone.

They hit 1 knive salvo and i was instantly down to 10 hp
(If they had quick meleed or just kept attacking i wouldve been dead immediatly)

How do we feel about dagger right now? Ever since the hit box change I encounter players that just dash at you from the front and they get a backstab because on their screen they flick to your back as they pass. Not sure if this is an intended change

Face to face engagements are just not possible, stun gun makes you a free kill and on some maps you dont even need to bother with it

i assume this is referring to light's sh1900, which requires you only hit 65% of your pellets across 2 shots to kill a medium, i would hardly call that a meatshot. heavy does require 90% pellet impact to kill without reloading, but i feel like that isnt neccessarily unrealistic to achieve either, definetely dangerous to get that close, but it is effective. killing a light requires 77% of the pellets from a single shot for comparison. if you hit these shots, the sh1900 has the fastest ttk (0/0.75s) out of all weapons in the game against all classes.

Pyro (7)
Frag (7)
Breach charge (6)
Gateway and smokes are both level 5 even though I've only used smokes a couple times
I always use gateways and they're just barely level 5
Also level 6 just looks better than level 7 and 8
They need to make it actually stay purple tho

ziplines have become such a hassle to place quickly. i swear there was once a time where it was a lot easier to get them down in the right spot quickly. same goes for turrets
Here is a game update that must be implemented otherwise light melee will cease to exist :
This game is all about balance and counters. You have to have something in your class that could counteract the other teams comp, weapons or gadgets. This is pretty well balanced with the exception of melee. Recently, heavy melee got a buff in the form of the claw and he also has the goo gun and a ton of hp.
I'm a sword main with extensive amount of hours. Recently they removed the main skill expression for sword which is the gadget swapping which is huge and unfair as that is not a game bug like emote cancel but a legit feature but that's for another topic.
The heavy, aside form his massive hp, has plenty for counters for sword like : flamethrower, RPG, explosive trap, anti gravity trap and I was nice in this list as a noob sword player could be easily killed from a melee weapon from him as well.
The medium has the explosive mine, and the jump pad and the 1887 so it DID NOT NEED another huge one in the form of a glitch trap which renders the melee light completely useless like a sitting duck and it's hard for 1 medium now try 3 mediums who just glitch trap every inch of the space. There is not counter for that as a light melee.
And there is the light which besides just jumping away, can stun gun you which is an instakill and not hard to hit so there is nothing as unfair and as optionless then having stungunned as a melee light and literally there is no option from there on.
So what is the solution? Simple. YOU MUST add a gadget to light that acts as a shield. The light can either toggle the shield on like a heat vision or invisibility or being a one time use that would last about 5-7 seconds and while this shield is active, the light cannot be glitched by the glitch traps, the poison a fire can still damage him but it would block the form of explosion coming it's way like an RPG or an explosive trap or a stungun. After that, the shield pops and goes of cooldown.
I had a idea for a new specialization (middle class): the flic flac/ flip flop / flip flap!! A quick jumping roll to the left/right/forward/backward so the enemy cant aim too easy.

the thing that irks me the most about it is when you're holding a weapon gadget/spec (mostly goo gun for me) and it forces you to swap back to your weapon so you're unable to use either your gadget or your weapon for a sec
which can be long enough to make u lose a 1v1
ooh maybe glitch trap could need to lock on to the person? like if they stay in range for 1 sec or w.e duration then they get glitched until they deal with it?
