Friend of mine came up with a good suggestion to give turrets limited ammo, or give the player a set of ammo for the turret and have to reload the turret manually

- if you see a heavy holding an rpg, don't even shoot and just run
- if the heavy is pulling out the rpg, it have a predictable "fire rate" (for a sack of better word) for you can time a slide jump to dodge it
even for someone as slow as heavy i can still dodge rocket pretty consistently

Most gadgets just give XP based off of usage not outside effects
Demat will always give 25xp as an example
Like I get that mesh shield gives xp for blocking damage, but charge n slam could give xp for damage and possibly environmental destruction, winch could give different xp amounts for hooking players and carriables, and goo gun could give xp for mitigating damage

a great way to stop third partying while having your own cash out going would be to deduct money from the cashout they are doing when doing dmg from over a certain distance of their cashout

what does everyone think about the stun gun. cus I just got out of a match where literaly everyone was using stun gun and it was outragously oppresive. I was sitting there stunned for most of the game.
I think it's fine honestly at least for medium you usually have enough mobility at least stay far enough to make stun gun hard to hit and for heavy you ah e enough health to tank a few stuns now in a match with practically only stun guns thst could get tiring but on average I think it's pretty fin how it is

Dual Blades are stronger than they appear. Not gonna 1v3 a team in the same way you can with the the dash/sword light or Winch sledge heavy. But the potential for dual blades is real. Paired with the demat jumpad, zip line, an rematerializer(or defibs) you can do some fun stuff

so of course it used to be pretty good at midrange, back when it actually felt like the KS-23, an absurdly big shotgun. Like one or two patches after they released it they kneejerk-reworked it into more of an actual shotgun role with a higher firerate and more rounds but much worse at longer distances
I still miss the old KS- it was awkward, but I thought the playstyle was kinda neat
they were probably scared of increasing its dps while keeping the ranged capability

Tbh if your winning 1v3's with winch sledge the other side has to be doing something wrong. can pull and kill one but that should be about it. If they let you get close/let you get winch back that's on them imo. You could run into a building and force them to come after you or you'll get winch back but they should be able to get the rez by then.
stun's fine where it is imo. It has pretty limited use now. decent for stopping charge/healing and decent for stopping a dashing light from leaving (and if your running cloak then winch). Best used for denying cashouts. One could argue using it to stop heavies from using a shield but a glitch works just as well for that.
Outside of those situations tho its pretty much dead. You can use it to make it easier to hit people but your sacrifcing your first shot by doing that and out side of fighting other lights heavies and mediums are already easy enough to hit with there limited mobility and the mobilty mediums do have isn't negated by stun anyways (jump pad). Ideally just turn around and shoot the light cause there hp is so low the ttk them is usually quicker then it is to kill you (assuming both don't miss)
as for your situation if they're dash they really don't need to stun you to kill you they can and should just save a dash or two for the winch dash away and then just kill you. If you do get stunned you can either drop bubble shield (and force them to have and use glitch or them to come after you but that's risky. or leave/shoot the barrier but that's buying time) or drop barricade to buy time to get to a house or something. There's not alot you can do as heavy melee vs a dash light short of the light making a fatal mistake. Rpg's probably your best bet it'll either outright kill them if they've been winched/charged or taking chip damage from your team or put them to 10 hp and they might back off. (can still use gadgets while stunned just not specializations rn)

Oh yeah I totally agree man. The potential for the 1v3 with the sledge+winch is way higher though is what I mean. But since I typed this I definitely 1v3 twice with the dual blades this morning. Demat usually let's me get a free one and then it's a 1v2 which is manageable with a jump pad

my idea for a gadget is a dart gun for Medium that can either do poison damage to opponents (could do a lot over time, but can never kill) or heal damage for teammates, depending on who it hits. think Ana's biotic rifle from overwatch or something.

Having to bounce the ground into somebody's feet is a bit too much, just reward the direct since it takes more aim than hitscan

Everyone? Glitch disables specialisations so it stops lights from using dash/invis/grapple which means you can limit their mobility. Impossible to trap them otherwise.

The final slash on the dual blades should do more damage. From the Finals Wiki:
- First attack, 50 per slash (100 total)
- Second attack, 60 per slash (120 total)
- Third attack, 70 total.
So landing a total combo where you don't miss any slashes nets you 290 damage. Which means you then need to nail another full attack to kill a heavy. This has got to be the slowest TTK of any weapon in the game?
I know people will say "you deal damage from deflections" and to those people I suggest you actually try farming deflection kills, because that shit is buggy and inconsistent as fuck, not to mention it straight up doesn't work against grenade launchers, flamethrowers, swords, spears, sledgehammers, and daggers. So not only does dual blades have the lowest TTK, it's hard countered by half the weapons in the game.
Third attack should do 140 damage. That's enough to kill a heavy with a single 3-attack combo, while making absolutely no difference to medium and light (Light dies to first two attacks, medium still dies to a full 3-attack combo. This is obviously working under the assumption that you're going to land every swing, which is pretty difficult to do when your opponents are running around attacking you back.
They will have to nerf the damage to like 100 bro

In terms of guns itās what youāre comfortable with, I use fcar cuz I can control the recoil better and I hit more shots than I do with famas
Akm is still very decent aswell, and the model 1887 can shine

You can two tap a light with a headshot and a bodyshot combined, you have no recoil to control and you have an infinite ammo pool. Either if the infinite ammo is kept it needs a damage reduction or if the damage should be kept like as is, give the knives an ammo pool that needs to be "reloaded" like any other gun.

I find it necessary to stay only in close quarters, and especially avoid mid range exchanges ( like out in a courtyard, or running between buildings).
Seems like it almost has to be as close as a melee to get the chunky damage tho. Generally I prefer the m60 because of the slightly better range and suppressive fire capabilities.

Yes, I would like them to branch out more and make more skins for the less popular weapons that look good. They have been rarely branching out with certain weapons. M11, throwing knives, sword, sledgehammer, akm and other get very cool/unique skins.

If using hammer just winch claw ,auto, quick melee that can insta kill a light or if you only get the auto attack off and donāt get the quick melee pull out the rpg and shoot
But if using the flamethrower you can do the same thing just winch them back in once they are out of range of the fire
If you are using a gun you can do mesh shield and make them waste bullets and when they go to reload then you pull out your gun
So it really comes down to either being aggressive with Winch or defensive with Mesh

no weapon should be move to anywhere, every gun serve it own perpis which is range
snipers shouldnt be removed they just need a rework entirely, i say make them incredibly hard to use but rewarding to the shots hit, you shouldnt have the sniper thinking they can quickscope with it as it ruins the game flow, i notice there is been more those who been using the sniper like shotgun to hit once and melee combo
i respect people who use sniper like a shotgun because they are actually taking risk and having fun instead of playing point and click advenure on a crane

As of now a lot of people kite with it anyways, yet the current state of it makes it more like a burst lmg.
The alt attack could have a small boost to its damage, reprioritzing it as integral part of the weapon.

When dueling with other Lights ( in this hypothetical adjustment) , it would be key to land an alt attack at some point, as the main attack would be lacking the burst potential.

I noticed today while playing that you can aim the sniper while invisible, but not draw the bow. It doesn't really make a lot of sense.
I think this could be for two reasons.
1.The coding on the invisibility is designed to remove your invisibility when you use left click, thus normally firing a weapon or throwing a grenade would take you out of it. In my opinion, this is honestly the reason that is most likely.
2.The other reason is that it was a deliberate balancing decision, which I disagree with. I just don't see how a weapon like the sniper, allows you to scope in while invisible, but you can't draw back the bow. In my opinion the bow is one of the less competitive options as far as weapons go. I use a lot of bows in different games and the bow in the finals feels really bad. No cancelling your drawback, hitting objects in the environment constantly, including invisible barriers, and slight discrepancies in how travel time feels depending on the stability of the servers you play on. Not to mention that any advantages you would gain from using a bow while invisible also applies to the sniper. The one argument against the bow, is that you don't have to scope in to kill targets. The problem with that argument is that someone who is good enough with a sniper can negate that disadvantage quite easily. Meanwhile with the bow, you have a limited range before the skill ceiling on landing shots increases, with a lot less ability to negate the disadvantage you have against a sniper user. Don't get me wrong, my problem isn't with a bow vs a sniper. I just think that the bow and the sniper have very similar roles in the class, so it's the best for comparisons. Being able to cloak and line up a one hit kill from any range through a scope, is really strong. I don't see why you can't keep your bow drawn. It's not like once you fire your arrow you wouldn't uncloak.

It's based on where you're looking not your body and it's janky like shield combined with lag etc

yea the damage is fucked lol. have you tried nuking yourself in the fireing range? it does 110 damage with a red canister and c4. while the c4 does 200 and the canister does around 150. and ive been told if a grenade or mine is in the mix that damage goes even lower lol.
