i checked and the light shotgun does the most dmg but it has 2 shots and very low range so you have to rely heavily on movement

Light shotgun is fun with dash but only if you're mostly accurate

I do wish that non automatic weapons were more viable, I can use the revolver and the KS-23 well and get decent kills with them but the moment I start using the lewis gun or FCAR my kills rise drastically, it makes it hard to really want to use non autos, anyone else get this or nah?

Make the Magazin a little UFO , ( could fly up in an Reload Animation ) , and a destroyed Barrel ( Louis Gun Barrel is that big for cooling, so new Alien Cooling visible in in a Hole under the grip on the barrel )and a new alien barrel coming out of the the blown up old and bigger one.... New barrel could be looking like the alien pistol

Like, the ideas for heavy are there, close range power house but suffers at longer ranges, and has lower mobility to escape.
It's just that a) medium fixes the mobility, and b) close/medium range is probably the most important range at most ranks

Thanks to FCAR nerfs, a flamethrower heavy wins against mediums automatically at close range. Assuming they don't just equip lewis gun and instead rip the entire enemy team apart because their single magazine has 3 times the ammo necessary to kill everyone on the enemy team all the while doing pre nerf FCAR levels of damage per second.
He also has the ability to triple his health pool on a whim and completely turn off any attempts to melee him with a single Q press that can also interrupt teams taking cashout far better than stun ever can. It completely destroys walls and terrain and doesn't care about the same barricades and shields that make heavy OP in the first place, making heavy with charge the ONLY spec that can contest a bunch of heavies on the objective when they're locked in.

Just had an idea for the light class stun gun what if you can eirther have stun or an explosive that drills into walls and explodes after a few seconds but has a longer cool down time i know they have breach charge but think it would be a good way to create openings and cause more destruction.

Removing RPG i see as a mistake because of instead of trying to rebalance it for its original purpose a building destruction tool it would only limit and cut down the already declining building destruction and map interactivity from beta over time they've weakned/ removed map destructiveness especially on heavy when they took the second c4 charge
I'm against removing goo gun because it's just a fun specialization and making a replacement specialization for heavy would be difficult and honestly its one of the most creative options for heavy build your own defense is a pretty fun play style or use it to support your Freinds by making platforms to hard to reach areas I'd say make goo easier to destroy overall and since they changed getting trapped in goo (or say they did ) that would remove most of it's limited problematic uses
And removing defib would go against mediums "class identity" of team support I'd definitely make it weaker and have advocated for such I'd also like to see it have counterplay of some kind because rn it's just feels like lifelines passive res on steroids id recommend making the character actually stay still for longer to trigger the res or have another layer of interactivity something to give an opponent the option to stop the res

I'm generally against removing options from games about customizing loadouts instead of pushing them more towards there niche because that leaves less creative freedoms for your playerbase and reduces some of the game identity for me as a whole like taking away destructive features

A purposely built long range option (not the lewis gun for some reason being a range machine) gives the devs a chance to balance it for that and
If two classes have decent to good long range options then the class that can't fight at that range will be at a permanent disadvantage

Heavy has shields and can control the arena to force people to come to him. As it stands he doesn't actually have to do that because he can just win those battles outright with his massive health pool and good ranged options.
But he still can if he manages to get in trouble and it makes killing one miserable.
This is true heavys arena destruction from range is cheeks (RPGs CD feels horrendous to me and if I'm close Enough to use a c4 then it isn't far range) and personally I use charge not mesh but you have a fair point although like most games this game is a game of trading resources yes health is a resource in my eyes

Dashes to escape is the only viable option against a reloaded goo gun. In a 1v1, dash doesn't matter if you have so many chances to stun lock them.

yes, heavies got a garbage grenade launcher wich only explodes after bouncing. + it's completely useless if 'Low gravity' event is on. It's also terrible for close ranges. I'd give it a 2/10 since it can kill lights atleast.

dagger is actually fucking horendous, there shouldnt be a weapon in the game that can insta kill mediums, it was funny when it would get 1 kill every 20 minutes, but now people actually know how too use it consistently and its hell

like, imagine being a new player trying too join the game, if the meta is just backstab, and the only counter is having insane tracking and doing a 3 180s every fight
like backstab is still one of the most hated parts of tf2, and in that spy is literally unplayable, if backstab is legitimately good and consistent its a death sentence
I think dagger deserves the advantage since they were able to get in close being stealthy. Insane tracking isn't required, just turning to face the player is.
But maybe the back stab should be more exact. Like side stabbing shouldn't work.

We know that the light class has an interaction between jump pads and evasive dash
Well, why not do the same thing with the slam? The slam may not do more damage to players but if you manage to get crazy height on the small it does more damage to buildings specifically.

I think they could buff the Regen rate since the light has so little health and that would make for a good balance.
Usually mobility allowing for escapes but, add slightly quicker Regen and light class feels more useful.
Although, a lobby full of lights would piss me off ngl. I just wonder if the fight is fair or not for them
