I don't like the openess of the map. I also don't like most of the cash out locations. The combo of a ton of of high ground, and a ton of open areas. It leaves less room for creative plays when you don't have a lot of destruction or cover compared to other maps. So I'm not being a negative nelly it's a very good looking map, and I really like how that one big building can basically slide off the mountain if you take the supports out.

Too much visual clutter, buildings are too cramped, open spaces are too open, bamboo forest is a nightmare to fight in, just difficult to maneuver through the map…it really doesn’t feel like a Finals map to me. Plus I’ve just gotten it four times in a row 🤦♂️

I dont think its servers, since any given match vs wt rounds played should have similar impact on servers
A "good" wt rotation with maps you love can be a godsend
But it really depends on what is thrown in
Sometimes its only "bad" maps and avoiding it becomes a no brainer
But often i find myself debating whether or not to jump in because its a mix of maps i love and some i really dislike
I get awesome matches more often, but have to endure certain maps more often as well
More highs, more lows, nothing inbetween
Its still random too, so i could get the same map multiple times in a row, when that may be the one i didnt want
And it means i have to play wt, with all its downsides
Class/item-lock, no backfilling, time commitment, etc.
I kind of just long for a way to improve my experince and be able to fulfill my desire for certain playstyles on any given day more consistently

thing is, with the amount of maps, you could potentially wait like what? 30-45 minutes for your favorite to show up?
though i guess youre likely to have a decent map somewhere in there to minimize waiting
but it does introduce reason to "throw" a match, so youre out faster and get to reque for your favorite if time is tight
which could potentially be frequent depending on how the maps are structured
and if you have 2 maps you like, but they come right after another, you would potentially never see the 2nd one because youd likely always que as soon as the first one is available to minimize waiting
it would be a decent option to at least que snipe around the "worst of the worst" while making sure any map has at least some players by being filled with those who dont care enough

No, that's exactly what it is, it's the main reason I can't rank it very high, it's basically Seoul+ but I don't think it plays as well, the layout is almost identical just with different building heights

Special attack
Blocking is great and all, but there's almost no reason to block when you can passively block so let's lean into that. Be able to slide and jump while blocking. Slide blocking basically makes you unable to take damage unless very neich angles or AOEs.
Duel blades:
Light attack 50×2, 60×2, 70. -> remove third hit, standardize damage to 55×2 per input.
Special attack deflect-> add headshot multiplier, fix deflect hit registration
Sword:
Light attack 74->75
Special attack charge 140->150
Dagger:
Light attack 50->unchanged
Special attack 320->350 if they backstab a heavy they are gonna do the quick melee anyways so it's a small QOL. Also decrease backstab angle by 15° so you cannot be backstabbed with you back against a wall no matter what.
I want feedback from the map folks too, because melee needs to be stronger than shotguns

You can also get two tapped by LH1, one tapped by SH1000, one tapped by sniper, 2 shot(1shot and QM) by matter, and melted by apsolutly every other light weapon,mind you...at range, and half of them run stungun, and any glitch effect removes your ability to close distance with dash. I think it's fair

It does need positioning though. In a vacuum it might be an issue, but there are too many options that will downright counter it from winch, proximity sensor, stungun, glitch effects. The meta will shift to prevent any type of sword abuse.

Damage ramp up for all weapons actually. So like shotguns do less damage at 1-2 meters than they would at 3-5 meters, then damages falls off from 6-10 meters

So that weapons have an advantage when they're in their intended range and disadvantage when used not in that range the same way fall of is used but reverse as well. So AKM and Fcar should have an advantage over pike in a 15m engagement and vise versa in a 30m fight with famas being a happy medium between the two. This also applys to shotguns make them not completely invalidate melee.

Bernal kind of does this and it feels really good for flow. definitely on board with the amusement park map too. I think those 3 are great ideas. Why is Skyway Stadium so terrible in Power Shift. Most of the other maps are reasonably balanced, a short exposed push to get it going and then bits of buildings along its path to stop a push.
But Skyway is so exposed for so long, if a team can get a platform past the first bend they’re pretty much guaranteed to win since it take so long to get it out of the starting area. I think the platform’s path needs a complete rework.
I actively dread getting placed in a match there, enough to not really want to play Power Shift.

Yo i just played a game on fortune stadium all the team did was win one cashout then sit on the island the entire 20 mins game. Since all 3 were mediums with turrets and landmines it was rather easy for them to exploit this. I dont think i need to discride how annoying it is to just have to sit for the enire final round knowing there is nothing you can do but wait for them to maybe come across knowing full well they wont because they dont have to.

Honestly i dont get what people have against kyoto I personally think its awesom...
for my friend group, its just terribly unoptimized (my frames drop to below 30, my friends with less beefy pcs, it becomes unplayable when anything breaks) and the cashout locations feel way too inconsistent. easy to defend (one is at the top of a mountain on the side of the map) or impossible to defend (one is in a 1 story building in the middle/bottom of the map, surrounded by advantageous attacking positions.) Overall, none of the teams seem to really know what they're** supposed to do or when, so the rounds are so much more luck based than any other map imo.
Its only been a couple days since its out of rotation and i already feel myself forgetting the various complaints so take this with a grain lol. Still pretty fun overall, i like the setting and variety ofc

Frame rate drops are a big part of it, but for me personally it just doesn’t feel good to play in it. The open areas have too many long sight lines mixed with visual clutter, so sniping is both a pain to face and a pain to do. Indoors, the buildings are too cramped, with lots of little obstacles that make moving around annoyingly difficult, and the destruction is very chaotic. Great map for the visual factor, but gameplay-wise I’d rather be on Skyway or Fortune
