all you really have is 2 rpgs in a MHH team to bring one platform down quickly. if the enemies are spread out it's gonna be difficult to attack, even with a zipline. jumppad is not consistent enough and doesnt even clear enough height for some of the platforms. (red barrels are also not reliable enough)

Problem with Vegas is that unlike most other maps, the rooftops are SO wide and open that it makes it really hard to counter roof camping

Verticals and room sizes are usually small on most other maps and objectives. With how wide and open vegas is, its more of an issue and way harder to retake an obj.

I think the most overwhelming thing is just all of the specialisations, gadgets and different tactics ppl which u need to wrap your head around. Simply put: im a medium main and for medium this map sucks. additionally in ranked the 3rd parties are much worse on this map since you will not see the enemies until they are on you. spawns are also too far away most of the time.

Vegas is an interesting spot where the more I play it and actually understand the map, the more I enjoy it. The spawns are frustrating but the design isn't terrible and a lot of cashouts are fun to attack/defend. Still probably my least favorite tho, too much going on

Maybe instead of server banks, they are the “brain” of the AI thing getting out of control that we recently heard about in that audio from Scotty and June. In a bid to escape, the AI has published the exact location, real data, and layout of the facility, allowing CNS or other factions a pathway to access the real servers or to break out the AI. Maybe the AI needs CNS to transfer itself bit by bit to servers outside of The Finals through that map. Kinda like the data vault thing in terminal attack. In any case, I think that it would be a cool map that gets away from being repetitive of other maps and a lot of opportunity for interesting structures and interesting lore

The current MVP of the match gets marked for a short time. Killing the MVP is worth 1 cash out for the team who gets the kills. But it's worth 2 cash outs of you manage to protect your MVP.

Getting kills, team wipes, etc. adds to your score as well.

This idea needs a lot of flushing out but whatever. There's plenty of options to try

Vegas is great because theming (I’m biased I used to live in Vegas), I actually like the spaced out map layout with the maze like casinos it’s accurate and makes for more of a chaotic game. It’s a different map than all the others pacing and design wise making for a more unique game that forces you to use a different strategy than: skyway, Monaco, and Seoul.

I love horizon because retrowave is my favorite art style. The map is the only one that’s actually big and open forcing you to either play super defensive or super aggressive. It makes you much more hyper aware of your surroundings because of that. I like how much they break up the game forcing you to use different tactics and strategies making the game that much more unique. I love the maps for the same reason everyone hates them games like cod are so boring to me because all the map layouts are the same after 5 games you’ve done all there is to do and it become monotonous.

Yeah no i totally get that especially with horizon since the building doesn’t fall it just disappears. But I like that it feels less destructible it makes them just that much more unique from the other maps. Just like the forrest or park areas on other maps. Where one small fire burn the entire thing down, I love that since it’s the only place that it can happen.

I mean I know s3 is gonna be cool and the new stuff isn’t actually going to feel underwhelming but like right now in the trailer it just seems that heavy is gonna get grappling hook but a chain, and lights getting a riot shield except instead of a shield you just deflect the bullets with a sword, and finally mediums getting a half sword x2, like rn they seem a little questionable since they seem pretty similar to other weapons but like once the season rolls around I’m really hopeing they do feel different

yep and after thinking about it over dinner, i am a little pissed off because the finals was created WITHOUT THE INTENT of making cs2 but the players complained, so they ruined their own game by completely changing what the game is. the finals isnt suitable for SnD due to the nature of custom loadouts, high damage, no healing, mechanics like movement, how maps are built around destruction not SnD, etc
