I inferred the addition/activation just based on the version numbers on the level 3 website.

It's the most plausible explanation (imo) for WRs being listed as 1.0.0 despite being in-game since Beta, and the monkey being the "third and final stage" activated in 2.4.0, when we know it's been findable since S1.

So the forest is in the top half(north) of the map.
The cannibals in MI were located in the North of the island. Where the 3HM pops up. My theory is that the location to find the 3HM is in the forest
