If you want to extract frames of videos at great quality
Install ffmpeg https://ffmpeg.org/ and make sure 'ffmpeg' is setup as a path variable.
Then put the video in a folder and create anther folder called 'frames' next to it.
In the explorer bar type 'cmd' to open a command prompt in that folder location then paste ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vsync vfr frames/frame_%06d.png

The only thing that kind of stuck out was frame 75 so far, my partner pointed out if this could be cleaned up and the bars made black it would possibly be a barcode. But she did point out that this being the only frame where it appears would make that tough lots of distortion especially on the left side doubt you could clean it enough to change the colors.
Hitting it with google lens did nothing all it sees is LED's
Sometimes the distortion on the bottom looks like barcodes too but again would be really hard to clean it up enough to scan.

That's frame 488 with Nama in it this is frame 139 where it is used again.
Same distortion same number of lines slightly different placement
Frame 75 is the first time you see the wide one but it appears several times after that throughout the trailer.
That one always is in the same place though smack dab in the middle of the frame.

One thing I wondered is if the frames of the tier 1D images in the trailer might be different to those we already have, in the same way that the Rise From The Ashes image had two versions that resulted in the Pisa Griffin image.
Separately, while analysing the trailer, I noticed that the tier 1D images are shown for varying lengths of time, and just thought now if thereโs some code we can derive from that.

No problem it's a fun way to burn time in a THE FINALS related way before betas come and we usually get some nice little rewards in promo renders with sneak peaks at some cosmetics or in game materials for our efforts. Very much a tumble down the rabbit hole most of the time but if you like doing deep research into a bunch of different topics or trying to find connections you'll get some enjoyment out of this!
