I’ve been looking at spectrograms. That’s also why I thought some of it looked like audio waveforms. Looking up waveform from image converter lots only brings up weird online discussions of people on Reddit who don’t know what sampling frequencies are 🥲 and people saying it cannot be done. It is doable, however the only valid points the basement dwellers had is that there probably aren’t enough samples for it to be audio. Standard sampling size for audio is 44.1kHz, and there are way less in the picture. I don’t think 0.1s if audio is going to help us

I did just find something weird. Looking at 1404 E210 DDFD I thought to myself “what if 1404 is backwards” so I went with 404.1 thinking I’d get some sub status code for 404. When I tossed in the rest as in “404.1 E210 DDFD” I get a page whose first line is “a list of vocabulary in Homer, not only in the Iliad and the Odyssey, but also in many other poems” the page doesn’t display properly, so I don’t know where the 404.1 connects, but the fact that homer, the odyssey and the Iliad showed up was a bit strange

Looking at the first image there are 2 Primary Clues presented oval and o=0... and by using one of the chifer keys that have been used in all tiers and levels so far you had 0vif0rm day one. But again, it would be boring and not a great hunt if you would solve it in 30 minutes, therefor as always 20-25 secondary and tertiary clues are also in there all pointing towards and linked to the primary ones ofc... ._.

well, the things fish listed are a perfect base but one thing I'd really like to see (exactly the thing I feel like I'd be the worst at) is finding methods to analyze and decode the information on the pictures, for example I saw yall talking about ASCII, using adobe programs and different software, etc.

I think the harder thing with these long hunts, at least from my experience with this one, is right after the beginning of this tier work picked up for me and I couldn't contribute for about a month or two. When work did have lulls I would come read up on the padlet and everything but it becomes hard to draw connections the longer it gets drawn out, you fear drudging up past connections or accidently spinning people in circles on dead ends we already worked out. It can for sure feel like a herculean task for outside people or people who took a break to sort through what was 60-70 days of collaborative information without feeling like you might accidently knock over that "house of cards" for lack of a better term. I think this issue will compound in the near future as we bring up "diamond" clues as they are found. IDK how we fix this issue but I think getting some concise info on what will be important in the future, unsolved leads, etc. would help us onboard new hunters.

I don't think we should fear digging up past connections, if we found something that has already been found, maybe it even solidifies that connection more, because multiple people reached the same conclusion. As for sending people to rabbit holes... that's the nature of the hunts, you don't need to worry about that 😂

Oh I know! But I'm just saying for new people who want to get involved they might feel like it's more of a hinderance than how the process works hahaha. Especially since if you go back through the chat logs or read the padlet us hunters must look like this to people trying to join in.
