Aside from the hidden characters in the gif, other thoughts I have about it are that it is very similar to the first 3D games, as if you are moving down a tunnel (or burrow). Also, if you look at it cross-eyed, it creates the vesica piscis shape over and over.

I just watched it - itโs a very cute animated short with lots of little details (almost Easter Egg-like) that you have to pause the film to see - for instance, thereโs an ant restaurant in the film and off to the side of the restaurant is a chef ant in another room hacking up a mushroom with a meat cleaver. I also watched the making of (which itself is only 2 minutes long). They mentioned that there were 106 backgrounds made to complete the movie.
