okay, along with the other ones, I think these are references to the direct next map to appear 👀

yeah i was thinking of looking there next, singapore was my first thought but i feel that im looking in the wrong place

Maybe it's more an "inspired by" map - this feels tantalizingly close (Times Square Mall, SK):

it very well could be

do you think itll only be an indoor map

there might be an outdoor plaza of some sort

static owl
pure loom
#

gib new map

sharp flame
#

okay, here is the rooftop angle from the outside, from what I see

static owl
#

do you think it would be that shape from the outside though? it very well could have a much more organic or flowing shape to it

#

it could have plantlife on the outside as well

sharp flame
#

the glass roof has a 90 degree corner and goes straight, from what I can tell, and it does make a 45 degree angle with the flat top of the elevator shaft

#

the glass also makes a square grid (if you include distortion)

static owl
#

I def agree that the roof itself is angled to probs 45 degrees, I'm just wondering if the external view would look like that or if there may be more of a facade to it

sharp flame
#

oh the outside might have a lot more to it, yeah

#

it's just that people are suggesting things like mall when you'd really expect to see a shop, or any attraction in a place like that. Even an airport would have something that the public can enter. a store sign or something for a section of the airport like this. This would be a dead end if you were anything other than an office worker. It's quite small too, for a mall or airport

pure loom
#

That'll be easy to find

sharp flame
#

if it were in an airport or mall, it wouldn't be the airport-y part or the mall-y part

#

if you know what I mean

sharp flame
#

my current theory is that this is a generic (not a famous building) office space in the rooftop map

#

also the fact that this 'high rise' map has like at least 4 stories of interior + at least 2 stories of roof is awesome

pure loom
#

Yeah, I agree.

static owl
#

I'm kind of thinking that because of the sort of "clearance" that fish pointed out on the doors, it very well could be some sort of plaza within a laboratory/science building or maybe a government building

I think this might help you understand that:
-If you have two people, one (A) standing and the other (B) moving at 5km/h, B's speed is 5km/h, relative to A
-If you have two people, (A) and (B) moving at 5km/h on the same direction, their relative speed would be 0km/h, because they'll be next to each other all the time, so they won't perceive their actual speed
-If you have two people, one (A) moving at 5km/h and the other (B) moving at 5km/h in the opposite direction, their relative speed to each other would be 10km/h (2x(5km/h)) because they are moving away from each other
I hope that helps

#

There are probably better explanations online 😂

sharp flame
#

thanks physicists/hunters!

#

yeah there's no problem with that logic

#

well there is

#

double the speed of light

#

apparently even relatively it isn't possible

#

"their relative speed to each other would be 10km/h" apparently this doesn't happen near that speed

neon stream
#

I don't get what you mean 🤔

#

Their actual speed is just the speed of light, it's just their relative speed that exceeds that, but only because it's relative, not the actual speed

sharp flame
#

as in if the camera was following one of the objects

#

the other one would be going away at double the speed of light

#

which isn't possible

neon stream
#

I remember back when I took physics there was an explanation with a guy in train and a guy in a bicycle or something like that, that was used to explain this

neon stream
#

Because that's not their speed, it's just how it's perceived by the other, and neither is breaking the laws of physics 😛

sharp flame
#

this person does it pretty well

neon stream
#

What was the original question?

sharp flame
#

relativistic velocity-addition formula apparently adds velocities differently so that no two relative objects will ever exceed that speed

#

to a person watching both things move away from each other, you can definitely just add up their speeds. But each object relative to the other will never move faster than c (the speed of light) due to time dilation and such. I think that's crazy hahaha

neon stream
#

Oh, I see what you mean

neon stream

timid solstice
#

Dwarf planet hmm

#

ah the result that came up for me searching "110D631" is Dwarf Spirals

sick stone
# sharp flame which isn't possible

If we take this example (and ignore the objects mass) the observer following one photon looking at the other would perceive from the observers reference frame see themself standing still while the other photon is moving away from them at the speed of light, this is a symmetry that goes from both perspectives. If there was an actual observer at either end they would perceive the other as having their time frozen since they would appear to move at light speed relative to the other. Thus you could say that as either of them move time around them freezes, thus viewing themself as the moving frame of reference would not be a problem, as from their perspective they are the only one moving while the other is frozen in time.

#

both ends are happy because no-one is moving faster than light, and whomever is observing both systems as moving is also happy, because they also only see 2 observers moving away from them at c

sharp flame
#

third physicist hug_friend

sick stone
#

the only part I struggle to wrap my head around is that when objects move at speeds where relativistic effects need to be taken into consideration they get shrunk. So particles like **Muons ** that have a half life short enough to seemingly make it impossible to reach the earths surface will still make it (making it appear as they are moving faster than light relative to an observer on earth). From the muons perspective however the distance from where it formed down to the earths surface gets squished together enough that they make it in their limited lifetime. From earth it looks as if the muons time has slowed down enough due to relativistic effects that it's half life gets stretched enough to give it time to get to the earths surface.

#

But the formula for that I keep messing up

#

but Einstein was a pretty crazy guy

a little spooky

Mimas , also designated Saturn I, is a moon of Saturn discovered in 1789 by William Herschel. It is named after Mimas, a son of Gaia in Greek mythology.

the Star Trek Vulcan is here:

#

#

we haven't had 15 before

I mean...

sick stone
sharp flame
#

oh yeah, interesting

#

I think hidden planet/object not found is one of our keys here

#

cause one of the very first clues we had was Ceres (can be interpreted as Saturn)

#

was also considered a "hidden planet" before it was found

sick stone
#

yeah

sharp flame
#

and now we have Planet X and also Vulcan

sick stone
#

I've been looking more into Saturns rings after we got the bond hint

sharp flame
#

(not certain about the chrysalis--gold, but definitely chrysalis--butterfly)

sick stone
#

as the gaps are "missing" parts of the rings

sharp flame
#

so the lost moon Chrysalis also

sick stone
#

^this is why I pointed out Veritas as well. Didn't see it mentioned in earlier references to Chrysalis

sharp flame
#

It was named by the Cassini Huygens people

#

so directly connects to that clue

#

Chrysalis was hypothesised to be similar in size and mass to Iapetus, with a similar water-ice composition, and to have orbited somewhere between Iapetus and Titan

#

and this proposed orbit between things is very similar to the other hidden objects

#

and obviously the NamaTama we got was '404' (not found)

hearty sleet

so potentially dumb question, but I know ARGs can have red herrings, have there been any in this so far? Or does it seem like every clue is interconnected

sharp flame
#

Rob has been planning this for a while

hearty sleet
#

alrighty, so potentially no red herrings, noted

sharp flame
#

however, since we haven't been able to find everything, most things will just be red herrings for now

hearty sleet
#

it's only a red herring until it's a pheasant

sharp flame
#

no clue will be a red herring, but some paths may be

#

so, like, unlikely here, but maybe Saturn isn't the intended main lead we think it is

#

or binary stars

hearty sleet
#

so in that string, there's two numbers that jump out at me that are interpolated in the clues we have so far, that being 404 and 79

#

I'm wondering if instead of overthinking it, maybe dumbing it down (for me anyway) might help

sharp flame
#

79 I think is an order of magnitude more likely to appear as coincidence

but 404 does stick out

#

not sure why, then, it's 1404

because like, my notepad is getting into Charlie Day conspiracy board levels of insane

we need to look at forms of string

sharp flame

If we keep going we should eventually get it hug_friend

#

I believe in you

hearty sleet
#

crackpot theory: the mathematical function for the egg at the top is the encryption key for the string at the bottom

#

poking holes: hashed passwords are fixed string lengths, and these three strings are different lengths, and from what I can tell delimiters/hyphens don't occur in hash strings

#

removed the table idea as it's basically promoting a bruteforce in fancier terms, and that's not in the spirit of ARGs

#

delimiters/hyphens could occur in salted hash strings but that's a monumental jump in complexity

#

lol i was looking at this and it reminded me of this

#

the kepler triangle's angle is 51.84 = 51m 50s which is very close to 51 degrees and 52 minutes which is the angle of the pyramids

#

sorry if this link was already made but i just realised lol

Hmmm… I’ve noticed Rob mention Dusty a lot recently - this could actually be a clue. There is a planetary ring called the Dusty Ring.

#

There might be another too.

#

The lambda ring of Uranus is also known as a Dusty Ring - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rings_of_Uranus

The rings of Uranus are intermediate in complexity between the more extensive set around Saturn and the simpler systems around Jupiter and Neptune. The rings of Uranus were discovered on March 10, 1977, by James L. Elliot, Edward W. Dunham, and Jessica Mink. William Herschel had also reported observing rings in 1789; modern astronomers are divi...

#

maybe he's referring to emphasize on those?

slender lodge
#

whats 47 about, has been mentioned like at least twice by Dusty

sharp flame
#

it's /

#

forward slash in ASCII

#

This message is 👀'd

#

@slender lodge ^

pure loom
#

No it was Rob

sharp flame
#

what

pure loom
#

This could mean we won’t find the answer on Wikipedia

sharp flame
#

the ? is in Swa's name haha

pure loom
sharp flame
#

yeah I was pinging 'Swa?' since they asked

pure loom
#

Oh lol

slender lodge
#

so there is a link think

sharp flame
#

the name outline is quite subtle on mine too, hard to tell where it ends

sharp flame
slender lodge
#

ya but the problem is

#

theres so many link possibilities like password

sharp flame
#

sure sure

pure loom
#

Maybe he just means it’s more like the Devon Crossing info, which was just on a Devon-related website, not on Wikipedia.

sharp flame
#

but once we get a URL, it exponentially narrows down the password possibilities right

timid solstice
#

I wish I split that sentence up

#

maybe I just write it again

sharp flame
timid solstice
#

btw alt code 47 is /

#

... maybe a forward slash meaning look at a certain website or url

pure loom
#

Look at a curtain?

sharp flame
#

🤣

pure loom
slender lodge
#

curtain?

sharp flame
#

creeps me out

sharp flame
#

hahaha I think it could just be a / as in a link, url in relation to TBL

slender lodge
#

maybe those numbers could be part of it

sharp flame
#

we've had 404, Rosemary Leith, and (if I recall correctly) the year the internet was introduced, and also the place it was 'invented' and now the /

#

wait I have a theory

#

so hear me out here

pure loom
#

Or it could be another Leith

sharp flame
#

(Virginia is the BIV actor)

pure loom
#

True

sharp flame
#

okay okay, Rob mentioned TBL for a reason. He knows that we know about him, and he also knows all of how he is confirmed

#

here

#

this message is suspicious to me

#

I think TBL's role in this is different

pure loom
#

Yeah, maybe it’s something else about him

sharp flame
#

I'm already alluding to it actually

#

I think

#

it's supposed to be read as T B and L

#

tbl

#

as in .TBL, a file extension for a table in List of filename extensions (S–Z)

pure loom
#

To Be Left - we are supposed to give up kek

sharp flame
#

as in all of those Star Tables that Kepler, and the others drew up

#

they've come up loads and I did suspect they were connected somehow

#

Star Catalogues are all known as tables!

#

such as this one

#

this is Kepler's

#

perhaps the exact one we need

pure loom
#

“He was honoured as the "Inventor of the World Wide Web" during the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in which he appeared working with a vintage NeXT Computer.” A possible sports arena link

sharp flame
#

It's only since, on this list, TBL being short for .table is the only thing that could possibly be what the phrase TBL is alluding to

#

and the very reason Rob writes TBL instead of TimBL as he is more commonly known

#

also, I just spotted CD appearing there

pure loom
#

At the very least this is definitely a path worth exploring

sharp flame
#

yeah idk it's just the first direct connection between TBL and Kepler/Copernicus I could find so I thought it might have merit

slender lodge
#

1st clue 404 error

sharp flame
#

Wonder how we'd decipher the rest then

slender lodge
#

yeah been trying to figure that out too

sharp flame
#

I'm gonna look into the star charts

#

there's only about 3 of note

slender lodge
#

i looked through 12938 numbers of the golden number to see if iuts there

sharp flame
#

hahaha

#

this Hipparchus (from Nicaea) guy also made the first star catalogue

#

so this is how Star Catalogues (.tbl -> table) connect to Kepler

#

"By studying Tycho Brahe's observational data, Kepler derived his three laws of planetary motion and then compiled them into the Rudolphine Tables"

shell spear
#

wow everyone here is green

sharp flame
#

we like to talk

hearty sleet
#

I wonder if the regular 404 page Nama Tama has anything in it

shell spear
#

i was wondering why you guys were looking at the 404 page

sharp flame
#

it's all connected...

shell spear
#

mannn

sharp flame
#

mainly cause the first clue this tier was a 404 image

#

and the 404 page has Rob's signature .!

shell spear
#

ahhh okayy

sharp flame
#

at the end^

#

and then this bonus helper image is also called '404'

shell spear
#

robb and the team are so good at making these

#

and you guys are just smart

#

i wouldnt even know where to start

sharp flame
#

just a dedication to looking at Wiki pages

#

and having a lot of spare time

hearty sleet
#

I mean I see a few artifact looking things in the normal 404 page but I can't point to them easily on mobile

sharp flame
# sharp flame

also I do wanna add that we haven't found anything in this image yet, so if someone wants to play around in Photopea or count some pixels or something, it would be awesome if anything was found

shell spear
sharp flame
#

don't know how much of it is artefact or intention, but I think the only thing we found was that the light radiance looks like saturn's rings

#

overlayed for comparison

slender lodge
#

i think that might just be posterized image

#

but it looks like saturns rings

proud minnow
# slender lodge i think that might just be posterized image

Yes unfortunately that is just banding, neither D, C, B, A, F, G or E are hidden here... I've been trying, but it got a bit too far fetched... but as you have seen earlier these lovely rings have been hidden in multiple images, and not only to honor our friend Galileo Galilei... ._.

slender lodge
#

d,c,b,a,f,g,e?

#

they did look like saturn rings which woulda been really cool!
