You use the "." And the "," to navigate the frames of the vid right?
wait so im lost
why are we looking at these/trailer stuff now?
did you guys finish the tier?
:_)
I was just putting my time into something that can actually produce results 😭
You did a much better job of stitching this together than I did!
*downloads image
just put in a lot of time haha
Thanks! I think mine was pretty much the same for that one
and basically the same here
Interestingly, I've been trying to find another Korean building to fit the new image, and I found a building that I looked at while searching for egg-shaped buildings
oh nah I flipped the bottom wrong 😭
▲ Government Complex Sejong Gymnasium opened on August 1 © Local Today [로컬투데이=세종] Reporter Joo Young-wook/ The Multifunctional Administrative City Construction Agency (hereinafter referred to as the “Happiness Administration”) will officially open the gymnasium in the Government Complex Sejong on the 1st of next month. for a bit i thought that this was part of the changi airport, but i havent found anything to confirm that even closely
also notice the distortion on the left hand side of the image
you can really see it with the plant
i was just looking up places with some garden plazas having organic interior design rather that angular
Yeah, South Korea has lots of them!
yeah i was thinking of looking there next, singapore was my first thought but i feel that im looking in the wrong place
Maybe it's more an "inspired by" map - this feels tantalizingly close (Times Square Mall, SK):
it very well could be
do you think itll only be an indoor map
Hyundai Seoul Mall
damn they got the indoor outdoor
*searches for Volcom South Korea... 🧠
still a bit angular but in the right direction i think
Gets this lol
i think we’re in the right place, some sort of east/southeast asian building, and i think the malls fit a lot of the design
sorry taken with my tablet lol, but this is in Seoul
Annoyingly, it's like Rob posted an image he knows we won't find...

gib new map
okay, here is the rooftop angle from the outside, from what I see
do you think it would be that shape from the outside though? it very well could have a much more organic or flowing shape to it
it could have plantlife on the outside as well
the glass roof has a 90 degree corner and goes straight, from what I can tell, and it does make a 45 degree angle with the flat top of the elevator shaft
the glass also makes a square grid (if you include distortion)
I def agree that the roof itself is angled to probs 45 degrees, I'm just wondering if the external view would look like that or if there may be more of a facade to it
oh the outside might have a lot more to it, yeah
it's just that people are suggesting things like mall when you'd really expect to see a shop, or any attraction in a place like that. Even an airport would have something that the public can enter. a store sign or something for a section of the airport like this. This would be a dead end if you were anything other than an office worker. It's quite small too, for a mall or airport
Yeah, more like a hotel sub-atrium or an apartment block eh?
That'll be easy to find
if it were in an airport or mall, it wouldn't be the airport-y part or the mall-y part
if you know what I mean
my current theory is that this is a generic (not a famous building) office space in the rooftop map
also the fact that this 'high rise' map has like at least 4 stories of interior + at least 2 stories of roof is awesome
Yeah, I agree.
I'm kind of thinking that because of the sort of "clearance" that fish pointed out on the doors, it very well could be some sort of plaza within a laboratory/science building or maybe a government building
One thing is for certain. South Korean architecture is 🔥

I think a government building is less likely, just from a sensitivity point of view
Ah fair
Don't wanna be casually blowing up Seoul's government buildings
man I'm nearly finished reading the last of Embark's Medium posts
agh I love them so much
they've made their server, rendering etc. tech open source. they really wanna level the playing field
A number of real-life inspirations have been suggested for James Bond, the fictional character created in 1953 by British author, journalist and Naval Intelligence officer Ian Fleming (1908 – 1964); Bond appeared in twelve novels and nine short stories by Fleming, as well as a number of continuation novels and twenty-six films, with seven actors...

fine...
the thing 007 is named after presumably
👀
John Dee, who was accused of spying for the crown, signed his letters to Elizabeth I, Queen of England between 1558 and 1603, with a "007" symbol, marking them thereby as personal – destined for her majesty's eyes only.
How did you find this person?
on your inspirations page, under 007
oh lol
yeah not as coincidental as you would think
but still, a coincision of 325 and 007, right?
(image)
Also a link to Euclid's Elements
In 1564, Dee wrote the Hermetic work Monas Hieroglyphica
Scientists Nicolaus Copernicus, Johannes Kepler, Galileo Galilei, Albert Einstein and Sir Isaac Newton were all influenced by the Elements
Copernicus done, Kepler done, Galileo done, Einstein and Newton left..
I'm really surprised we didn't find any Newton clues last time
all the prism stuff was his thing
"Isaac Newton first applied the word spectrum to describe the rainbow of colors that combine to form white light."
yeah he's really connected to spectra and stuff
crazy that he isn't mentioned
in our clues
Oh, I misread your comment 😂
I thought you were looking for a connection to the past tier 😛
haha he's super connected, but not at the same time
Building the design, the first known functional reflecting telescope, today known as a Newtonian telescope
he made telescopes, also very relevant in this tier
How did you guys get to this "Dee" guy? was it because of Rob's clue?
it was from the 007 part of the 'Origin of Bond's name' wiki page
Because I guess it could connect to this
Yeah
I'm so happy we got this message though, so we could stop looking 🤣
we can recontextualise Rob's message now..
Hang in there… keep your eyes open, 830606 will hopefully make more sense soon…
Hang in there… keep your eyes open, **Vulcan **will hopefully make more sense soon…
going to look at Pluto.. I think it might have some connection..
Vulcan was suggested as a name for one of its moons
The IAU General Assembly in August 2006 considered a proposal that Pluto and Charon be reclassified as a double planet
What's the connection here, I might have missed that?
I just replaced 830606 with Vulcan, as I assumed that's what the clue primarily refers to
How did you make that connection? I'm completely lost!
Ah, yes! I forgot about that! lol
and these two too
Vulcan = Missing planet, kinda like Chrysalis, or Planet X
yes yes ok
just making sure 🤣
The Korean thing distracted me hehe
we can't afford distractions this close to the answer..!
we're definitely gonna get it.. soon...
this is another kinda loose connection
I was looking at Hermes, a binary asteroid, when I read this..
** It was the third unnumbered but named asteroid, having only the provisional designation 1937 UB. The two others long lost were (1862) Apollo, discovered in 1932 and numbered 1973**
a "lost asteroid" is one which cannot be measured anymore
fits with the Vulcan being a missing planet
OH
OH SHIT
no way that has to be intentional
oh kay, also finishing my Apollo point:
the symbol
could be referring to this
(as well as another thing)
the symbol is specifically for 1862 apollo and not Apollo or anything
Fish please say you snipped from the downloaded video and not YouTube
The ones from google drive
I have an extension
which doesn't do screenshots, but instead
it just snaps all of the pixels available at max quality
I can’t see compression so alls good
I think the downloaded video would've still had compression if I snipped
ohh this?
Ye
I did it in the Scratch editor 😭
You guys sharing the medium posts reminded me I knew someone that worked at Embark
it's 2d shapes and lines haha
But I just saw he left last month 😔
..magic
anyway
2061 was Halley's Comet's next Perhelion (Near Earth approach)
NEO (yeah, exactly like the Matrix) 's are defined by their Perihelion (closest point on their elliptical orbit to Earth)
lost asteroid, the closest to ever approach earth
Do you think that Rob's "transistor radio" comment might be the equivalent of his "registered nurse" comment or Dusty's "medical doctor"?
So we should look for a T R link?
( mostly a joke, but yknow.. T-Rex reference! )
Thanks Rob!
maybe it's both!
** In 1992, Luu received a Hubble Fellowship from the Space Telescope Science Institute and chose the University of California, Berkeley as a host institution.**
She discovered the first TransNeptunian Object past Pluto+Charon
this is who it's named after:
'He was considered “one of the world’s leading authorities on eclipses.'
He also studied the Mayan calendar, and “was able to date the Mayan Codices of Dresden, Paris, and Madrid from astronomical dates which they contained."
wait
Haumea: 136108
1961 08 13?
404 -> 808 as a double (Binary.. etc?)
hmmm... The Berlin Wall might have some legs - it kind of makes a Ø out of Berlin
Also, Huygens and Cassini were together as one, then split into two...
I'm confused again - how does this relate?
I need a little more context 🙂
Pink Floyd (from last tier) (Dark Side of The Moon)
Oh right. Hmmm... I think the division thing is a better fit - like the Berlin Wall
to the slashed O?
Yeah
hmm
Tunnels under it as well - like a rabbit burrow
the symbol hasn't been used as splitting
yet
but it could be an aspect we're missing
On 6 June 1987, David Bowie, who earlier for several years lived and recorded in West Berlin, played a concert close to the Wall.
The Brick Moon cover also looks like the Wall's, but more importantly it mentions the first artificial satellite (as Sputnik 1 was)
I think this might pique your interest then: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit_à_la_Berlin
Rabbit à la Berlin (2009), a documentary film, directed by Bartek Konopka, told from the point of view of a group of wild rabbits that inhabited the zone between the two walls.
Theres a club called "The Matrix" in Berlin
Casino Royale (1967), a film featuring a segment centred on a house apparently bisected by the Wall.
Ive been there, the club, heard bass in the distance near fragments of the wall and found it
also Pluto again:
Vulcan Planum is the unofficial name given to a large plain on the surface of Pluto's moon Charon
I've made a little observation - this "2:18" clue from Rob was never solved - February 18 is the date Pluto was discovered.
Also, astonomical bodies including Pluto have a "Bond albedo"
"The Bond albedo (also called spheric albedo, planetary albedo, and bolometric albedo), named after the American astronomer George Phillips Bond (1825–1865), who originally proposed it, is the fraction of power in the total electromagnetic radiation incident on an astronomical body that is scattered back out into space."

Because the Bond albedo ac...
Also worth noting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmosphere_of_Pluto
The atmosphere of Pluto is the tenuous layer of gases surrounding Pluto. It consists mainly of nitrogen (N2), with minor amounts of methane (CH4) and carbon monoxide (CO), all of which are vaporized from their ices on Pluto's surface. It contains layered haze, probably consisting of heavier compounds which form from these gases due to high-energ...
Quite a useful article on the definition of a planet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IAU_definition_of_planet
The International Astronomical Union (IAU) defined in August 2006 that, in the Solar System, a planet is a celestial body that:
is in orbit around the Sun,
has sufficient mass to assume hydrostatic equilibrium (a nearly round shape), and
has "cleared the neighbourhood" around its orbit.A non-satellite body fulfilling only the first two of these...
Nice, great connections! 👁️
Oh Pluto is a classic example of a binary system
Not sure why I never looked into it haha
Also of course, Cronus was one of the considered names for Pluto
The Pluto–Charon barycenter came to perihelion on September 5, 1989
TBL created the WWW in 1989
A minor connection between Titan and Pluto - when the Voyager 1 space probe was devised, they had a choice of having it flyby Titan or carry on to Pluto, but they couldn’t do both. They chose Titan because of its known atmosphere.
Cassini Huygens is powered by Plutonium
a team at Berkeley were the first to produce Plutonium
oh wait how?
With Charon
“Pluto and its largest moon Charon are sometimes described as a binary system because the barycenter (center of mass) of the two objects is not inside either of them.”
A binary system is a system of two astronomical bodies which are close enough that their gravitational attraction causes them to orbit each other around a barycenter (also see animated examples). More restrictive definitions require that this common center of mass is not located within the interior of either object, in order to exclude the typic...
There’s an animation of it here
Just outside Pluto
Ahhhh
Perhaps the O means planet
And the Ø means not a planet
And Pluto is a balance between them!?
And it's kinda both of them too!
gotcha! that makes more sense now thyy
i thought when y'all said binary system u meant 1's and 0's lol

I did it. 500 messages to catch up on, but I did it
When I had a little gander at Pluto a while back I didn’t make any of the connections that you guys have made now, heck, I thought it wasn’t relevant . I guess I have to go back and re-evaluate 👽
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nix_(moon) Pluto has a moon named after Nyx (relating to Phanes and the Orphic Egg)
Nix is a natural satellite of Pluto, with a diameter of 49.8 km (30.9 mi) across its longest dimension. It was discovered along with Pluto's outermost moon Hydra on 15 May 2005 by astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope, and was named after Nyx, the Greek goddess of the night. Nix is the third moon of Pluto by distance, orbiting between the...

Nix also means nil or zero
It’s discovery was announced in October (possible Octopussy reference)
It is “jelly bean” shaped
Good spotting!
#easter-eggs message Here, if anyone was wondering what I am referring to
Why did I just now want to see a anthropomorphised jelly bean in addition to our bestest egg? haha
Hope they give namatama an extended family tree
Zeribin is the Japanese name for jelly bean.
Nyx means “night” in Ancient Greek apparently.
Bean translates to Mame
NamaMame
I like Zeribin though
Where did you see this 1957 info, it’s not in his Wikipedia article?
Correct, let me se if I can find it

I based it on this. Not sure how accurate that is.
Zeribin
I saw that
That’s interesting. It does look a bit like that.
Hmmm… where to now with Nix? I’ve tried loads of passwords around it.
Could refer to Pluto
Eris was discovered by M.E. Brown and C.A. Trujillo
Eris was originally called Xena: here is why
What on earth… https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/tesla_pluto_anp404anp_40.html

Surely just a coincidence

https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/missions/cassini/mission/spacecraft/cassini-orbiter/imaging-science-subsystem/ check out the peak data rate
did a quick look at Einstein, now I am stuck currently trying to wrap my head around how two objects can move away from each other at the speed of light and their speeds relative to each other (should be) 2x the speed of light (the speed limit of the Universe)
looking at time dilation, and what it means being "at the same time" in a reletavistic context might help you
ah my brain hurts ouchie
how is it easier to comprehend the fundamental nature of the universe and its primordial physics than Rob's EE password 😭
I think this might help you understand that:
-If you have two people, one (A) standing and the other (B) moving at 5km/h, B's speed is 5km/h, relative to A
-If you have two people, (A) and (B) moving at 5km/h on the same direction, their relative speed would be 0km/h, because they'll be next to each other all the time, so they won't perceive their actual speed
-If you have two people, one (A) moving at 5km/h and the other (B) moving at 5km/h in the opposite direction, their relative speed to each other would be 10km/h (2x(5km/h)) because they are moving away from each other
I hope that helps
There are probably better explanations online 😂
thanks physicists/hunters!
yeah there's no problem with that logic
well there is
double the speed of light
apparently even relatively it isn't possible
"their relative speed to each other would be 10km/h" apparently this doesn't happen near that speed
I don't get what you mean 🤔
Their actual speed is just the speed of light, it's just their relative speed that exceeds that, but only because it's relative, not the actual speed
as in if the camera was following one of the objects
the other one would be going away at double the speed of light
which isn't possible
I remember back when I took physics there was an explanation with a guy in train and a guy in a bicycle or something like that, that was used to explain this
the classic Einstein one haha
What isn't possible is for the actual speed to be double the speed of light, but the perceived/relative speed is fine
Because that's not their speed, it's just how it's perceived by the other, and neither is breaking the laws of physics 😛
again I looked it up and apparently it's not fine, idk how to explain though
this person does it pretty well
What was the original question?
relativistic velocity-addition formula apparently adds velocities differently so that no two relative objects will ever exceed that speed
to a person watching both things move away from each other, you can definitely just add up their speeds. But each object relative to the other will never move faster than c (the speed of light) due to time dilation and such. I think that's crazy hahaha
Oh, I see what you mean
sorry if I'm not wording myself right though
You are good, I just meant the original question in Reddit
Yeah, it would just be close to light speed for each of them.
no matter how much we understand, at some point we will always be reach a limit
right now I feel the same as you haha
oh, Rockhound is a physicist too!
hopefully we get Einstein next tier haha
As an example two objects each going half light speed in opposite directions end up with a relativistic speed of 0.8 light speed, or something like that off the top of my head. There is a formula for it.
lmao yeah that's exactly what that guy says in the first image
nice to hear it from a reputable source now! (RHB of course)
Lol. I didn’t read them
I just realised the Moderators have to also read every crackpot EE theory as their duty entails 😭
It’s one of those things you look up, understand enough to know it isn’t simple addition, then back away from carefully
tenor gifs, man
@sharp flame I'm reading more about the speed limit, and it seems that the explanation "applies" for low speeds, because the relative speed limit is ignored. But for speeds close to the speed of light, there's a formula to actually calculate it 😂
yeah exactly, again, so weird
Nature thinks our questions are weird
so what about photons from a star, front side and back side.. same principle? does the stars gravity slow itself down/distort it?
Does the star’s gravity slow its own light down, do you mean?
yes
For any new hunters trying to join us: we don't usually discuss these kinds of topics, don't be afraid of joining us 😂
Quora says the answer is “no”
Inb4 supersonic dogsled game feature
okay yeah I went and did some backgrounds to take my mind off this
I think I've successfully diverted our EE attempts though, sorry!
Anyone who read this without reading the link above would think I’ve lost it
so: Dwarf planet. O and Ø, because it is a planet and it isn't
this could be the reasoning for Haumea as a clue
Yeah could be
Pluto’s changes in status?
that, or a large body that is missing
or 404 - Not Found
so yeah, maybe a lost asteroid, or a Planet X / Chrysalis / Vulcan
this is as far as these keys can go I think
Euclid and Descartes I'm not too sure about
I suppose their ovals could point towards orbits which point towards any orbiting body at all
Dwarf planet hmm
ah the result that came up for me searching "110D631" is Dwarf Spirals
If we take this example (and ignore the objects mass) the observer following one photon looking at the other would perceive from the observers reference frame see themself standing still while the other photon is moving away from them at the speed of light, this is a symmetry that goes from both perspectives. If there was an actual observer at either end they would perceive the other as having their time frozen since they would appear to move at light speed relative to the other. Thus you could say that as either of them move time around them freezes, thus viewing themself as the moving frame of reference would not be a problem, as from their perspective they are the only one moving while the other is frozen in time.
both ends are happy because no-one is moving faster than light, and whomever is observing both systems as moving is also happy, because they also only see 2 observers moving away from them at c
the only part I struggle to wrap my head around is that when objects move at speeds where relativistic effects need to be taken into consideration they get shrunk. So particles like **Muons ** that have a half life short enough to seemingly make it impossible to reach the earths surface will still make it (making it appear as they are moving faster than light relative to an observer on earth). From the muons perspective however the distance from where it formed down to the earths surface gets squished together enough that they make it in their limited lifetime. From earth it looks as if the muons time has slowed down enough due to relativistic effects that it's half life gets stretched enough to give it time to get to the earths surface.
But the formula for that I keep messing up
but Einstein was a pretty crazy guy
a little spooky
best to distance yourself from him and his actions
Are we 100% sure he 404 page isn't hiding something else in addition to what we've found already? I noticed a while back that it seems to loop around. As in, you could connect the left and right side of the page and it would still fit the patterns
I think it is. I just can't find it
pattern?
the wave-y bits
the one that repeats every 10 or so seconds
for the uninitiated:
for each frame he is right, it does cross over to the left or right
that's just the nature of the distortion though
all the pixels are shifted by a certain x
and flood from right side to left side
okay what do we do now
Had anyone tried to reglitch every frame
yeah
X being 10 as well so there's definitely something to do with it
like 10th planet/star
(and Apollo 16)
(the 10th crewed Apollo mission, to the Descartes Highlands this time)
If it’s just distortions what is up with this thing in the top left/right then?
Never mind
I get it now
Also just distortions

they do look dotted instead of a full coloured line?
I wonder if that means anything
I think it’s just the same as the rest of the dotted distortion thingys
Not sure if it’s relevant
Nice
not sure if this has been mentioned before
404 Arsinoe
doesn't name who Arsinoe is in this page specifically so I think we can try look for other Arsinoes
and here is an Arsinoe that I found
Coronis, etymologically related to Corona and etc.
the actual one (ctr+F for 'arsinoe') it refers to
its just the wave distortion
I tried to replicate it
oh also, people
USA's response to Sputnik 1 is called CORONA
but to the public it was initially called project Discoverer (sound familiar?)
TheFinals was initially called Project Discovery
Discoverer 14, also known as Corona 9009,: 236 was a spy satellite used in the Corona program managed by Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) of the Department of Defense and the United States Air Force. On 19 August 1960, usable photographic film images of the Soviet Union taken by the satellite were recovered by a C-119 recovery aircraft....
here is Discoverer the Xth, also known as Corona 9007
oh what's this
The CORONA program was a series of American strategic reconnaissance satellites produced and operated by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Directorate of Science & Technology with substantial assistance from the U.S. Air Force. The CORONA satellites were used for photographic surveillance of the Soviet Union (USSR), China, and other areas be...
oh I see
it's the first successful one
1-13 failed
I have doubts the 007 reference for no.10 was intentional but still cool I think
also, the Heidelberg Man
an interesting page
Oh. I just watched a video about this the other day!
Lemme find it…
This videos features James Grime with a little bit of Edward Crane.

Abel: http://www....
Does the top map to the bottom on the 404 page? I only checked left-right; so the cylindrical view. I forgot to check top-bottom as well
I’ll check the video later, I just made the assumption that there was a lot of talk about toruses in it🤖
Pretty much!
I think it’s only left to right.
Its because "wrap around" is/was enabled
you cannot enter 0 for the vert scale so my guess is the dark footer was a layer under the white embark text that did not have the Wave distortion applied
heres a new version doing that method so I dont get top and bottom waves
hmm waves... kinda ties into the Radio clue
If u manage to recreate it we might be able to get some values from it
#easter-eggs message and you can probably cross reference with this^ and build it from there instead (as for how many overlapping distorts there are)
might be a stretch
but I'll take anything at this point
A very timely video! https://youtu.be/5R3ufj28lzM
It's a popular trope in Science Fiction, and indeed in scientific visualization, a stunning view of Saturn and its rings viewed while standing on one of Saturn's moons. However, the reality is that only 2 major moons - Mimas and Iapetus - offer anything other than a near perfect edge on view of the rings. And there's good scientific reasons for ...
nice video
So far this tier has been like that, thinking we have the answer and then...nope 😂
:))
So many missing o's in Rob and Dusty's messages..
Just like the missing parts of the rings of saturn..
The Arthur C Clarke clues could have pointed to the Colombo Gap where Clarke lived. Maybe we should reexamine the rings again?
This seems quite useful too: https://solarviews.com/eng/saturnbg.htm
The historical background of Saturn's rings.
George Phillips Bond (May 20, 1825 – February 17, 1865) was an American astronomer. He was the son of William Cranch Bond. Some sources give his year of birth as 1826.
His early interest was in nature and birds, but after his elder brother William Cranch Bond Jr. died, he felt obliged to follow his father into the field of astronomy. He succeed...
I see these two were mentioned before by @latent peak
bond, George Phillips Bond
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimas_(moon) "A number of features in Saturn's rings are related to resonances with Mimas. Mimas is responsible for clearing the material from the Cassini Division, the gap between Saturn's two widest rings, the A Ring and B Ring. Particles in the Huygens Gap at the inner edge of the Cassini division are in a 2:1 orbital resonance with Mimas." and https://pds-rings.seti.org/saturn/saturn_tables.html has this to say about the bond gap: "Gap due to second-order resonance with Mimas."
Mimas , also designated Saturn I, is a moon of Saturn discovered in 1789 by William Herschel. It is named after Mimas, a son of Gaia in Greek mythology.
With a diameter of 396 kilometres (246 mi), it is the smallest astronomical body that is known to still be rounded in shape because of self-gravitation. However, Mimas is not actually in hydrost...
The Ring-Moon Systems Node of NASA's Planetary Data System is devoted to archiving, cataloging, and distributing scientific data sets relevant to planetary rings and moons, and the ways they interact.
I don't even know if we've mentioned the answer at all...
I'm just taking a break
I'm assuming that's where @hearty sleet disappeared off to. Sacrificed in the name of SR
okay, these final clues are usually very close to the answer
we've had Vulcan, and we also had CA (maybe)
Veritas was also a proposed name of the moon that Saturn's rings originated from
just pointing that out
also the name of the goddess of truth. Sometimes depicted as a virgin dressed in white
I have no idea how that would connect... star trek: voyager maybe?
this too, I guess
I noticed this on the Mimas page: "A moon co-orbital with Mimas was reported by Stephen P. Synnott and Richard J. Terrile in 1982, but was never confirmed"
missing moon
WAIT
82
the Star Trek Vulcan is here:
(the first white dwarf discovered if that means anything)
but more conclusively:
The system bore the traditional name Keid derived from the Arabic word قيض (alqayḍ) meaning "the eggshells," alluding to its neighbour **Beid **(Arabic "egg")
WAIT
have I found it
or something similar
This is the Star named after the Arabic word for Egg
and there is 404
maybe just a reference more than a connection
I think so
I was also thinking about the XV on a scale with Ø perhaps meaning that something "15" is in equilibrium with "Ø"(something unknown/not found)
For some reason the wikipedia page notes that the crater on Mimas (Herschel) looks like the laser on the death star
yes, I meant more weird in the sense that we had the "do you expect me to talk"-hint
oh yeah, interesting
I think hidden planet/object not found is one of our keys here
cause one of the very first clues we had was Ceres (can be interpreted as Saturn)
was also considered a "hidden planet" before it was found
yeah
and now we have Planet X and also Vulcan
I've been looking more into Saturns rings after we got the bond hint
(not certain about the chrysalis--gold, but definitely chrysalis--butterfly)
as the gaps are "missing" parts of the rings
^this is why I pointed out Veritas as well. Didn't see it mentioned in earlier references to Chrysalis
It was named by the Cassini Huygens people
so directly connects to that clue
Chrysalis was hypothesised to be similar in size and mass to Iapetus, with a similar water-ice composition, and to have orbited somewhere between Iapetus and Titan
and this proposed orbit between things is very similar to the other hidden objects
and obviously the NamaTama we got was '404' (not found)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperion_(moon) was discovered by William Cranch Bond
Hyperion , also known as Saturn VII, is a moon of Saturn discovered by William Cranch Bond, his son George Phillips Bond and William Lassell in 1848. It is distinguished by its irregular shape, its chaotic rotation, and its unexplained sponge-like appearance. It was the first non-round moon to be discovered.
in 1848
I don't think the 48/82 numbers were intended to be found in Wiki pages
if I'm being honest it's probably something obvious about them that we've missed
however it being named after the Greek Saturn is strong

okay looking back at the first image now
I agree. I’ve tried so many things relating to missing moons, the missing 9th planet, and so on though.
don't let that discourage you. we've tried all of the other leads and returned nothing too, doesn't make this one less likely at all
we might just need a form to put our answer in..
whether it be Numerals
I agree. It’s just so frustrating!
or something like electron configuration
idk
looking into the Brown Eyed Girls (Kpop)
they featured in the soundtrack for the tv series the Vineyard Man (VM)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunny_(singer) is a SUNNY (hand clue) which appears on Brown Eyed's page
Lol I'm still lurking, just had a busy week xD
born in Orange County, California
known for its vineyard culture in the 19th century
The Mark of Zorro is set in Orange County, hmm
mark of Zorro
Zorro is all about CA
Zorro means Fox
possible Volpe reference? I have no idea 🤣
It's not a cult 😅
The only thing we "sacrifice" is our time, to understand SR's messages 😂
You can join us, if you want, we need SR on our side, so he guides us 😛
@sick stone and it works btw... 100% proven...😂
The proofs are everywhere 😂
@sharp flame 😂
@sharp flame you can also go back to the message where you made the connection of the "gold"... look what you posted right before... 😂
🤷🏻♂️
😂
I guess we could try, SR works in mysterious ways 😂
i just realized that the bullets in that art is 9, and another has 7 bullets, which meant 79
did no one else relize that?
it could be, the order is swapped but it still works!
It's an old screenshot, I was too lazy to take it again 😂
(From a previous message 😂)
red panda.. suits you better now haha
alright, attempting to catch up now...did that string I was smashing my head against end up getting solved?
no :(
oof
*points to pile of smashed heads
so potentially dumb question, but I know ARGs can have red herrings, have there been any in this so far? Or does it seem like every clue is interconnected
every clue is interconnected
Rob has been planning this for a while
alrighty, so potentially no red herrings, noted
however, since we haven't been able to find everything, most things will just be red herrings for now
it's only a red herring until it's a pheasant
no clue will be a red herring, but some paths may be
so, like, unlikely here, but maybe Saturn isn't the intended main lead we think it is
or binary stars
so in that string, there's two numbers that jump out at me that are interpolated in the clues we have so far, that being 404 and 79
I'm wondering if instead of overthinking it, maybe dumbing it down (for me anyway) might help
79 I think is an order of magnitude more likely to appear as coincidence
but 404 does stick out
not sure why, then, it's 1404
because like, my notepad is getting into Charlie Day conspiracy board levels of insane
I'm also operating on an idea mentioned when it was first spotted that the hyphens/dashes are a part of it so I'm trying to avoid dropping them where possible
haha, don't underestimate Rob
oh I'm not 😄
he once hid a Town name as not only text, but also coordinates as a QR Code, and coordinates on google map but remapped to the coordinate system of the moon..
none of which we found in the images
like my usual method of attack for things like this (and debate, as much as my best friend hates it) is to dumb things down to the absolute minimum and then attack upward
one of the only things I haven't run it through is an actual Enigma machine cipher but I don't even know where to start with one of those
we need to look at forms of string
forms of string?
okay first I'm gonna bring it from Hex into Decimal
I have done a fair bit of messing with it in Hex, and my coding buddy agrees it looks like Hex
22011205180925 - 1401182119080914 - 107484
but don't let that stop ya 😄
we can do a lot more with pure numbers
this is the decimal conversion? (adding it to notepad want to be sure it's noted right)
yeah
I...did that the long way a week ago, wow I'm bad at this xD
was wondering why 107484 jumped out at me
the mismatched first and second string lengths are also throwing me off I think
okay call me absolutely insane here
but I might have just found a connection
to Batman.
I dig it, elaborate
Zorro
has appeared before
the Mark of Zorro appeared in T1B and also a Z here
now hear me out
what movie was Bruce Wayne watching with his parents on the night they were murdered??
gooooooootcha
Batman, in fact as an aristocratic hero with a double identity has been compared to Zorro
with many believing he is also directly based off of him
guess what storyline Batman issue #404 begins
-Batman - Year One
well I mean I don't think the string connects to it yet
but it does connect to the Year 0 path really strongly
Cassini spread the use of the Astronomical calendar which included the Year 0 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronomical_year_numbering
and Kepler was the very first to use it
connects to timekeeping
I feel like that's something to ask Rob about, Batman, haha
okay I'll begin to pray:
🙏 SR 🙏
we need guidance ..
._.
excuse my idiocy, but what is this SR I allegedly got sacrificed to? 😛
here
gonna pray until Rob responds...

okay what's the source on that gif because that's awesome
okay I'm beginning to think this comic knows about the egg hunt
allegory for us missing something in the string, lmao
we've missed.. a lot of strings
but now.. we wait, for guidance
I've now asked two friends to look at just 1404E210DDFD-4FA5E227933D2-1A3DC with no context and tell me what they think it is, one said Hex and the other said Serial Number
tried it, invalid (much to my dismay lol)
it's either coordinates, or a identifier code
coordinates are also technically an identifier code
see coordinates are an interesting idea, but the 5 char string at the end has me questioning it because aren't coordinates two strings of characters typically?
there are a few types of coordinates
but I don't think it's any of them
don't wanna post anything to bury the prayers
welp I think Fish did what no one has done previously, because I am fucking hooked on Gordon being a badass that happens in this issue
I can't afford both M:tG and comic collecting Q.Q
okay, quick point: look up Island of California, you can see how it connects to 'not found'
it's probably just my smoothbrain but that page that mentions The Mark of Zorro is also Page 21
1404E21...that's a reach but I want to believe
something I thought was curious about the string is that E occurs in the same place in string 1 and 2

alright fish, if that Batman theory holds weight, what would 4FA5 mean in a comic reference, if anything?
idk, I don't wanna deny the theory completely but we'd be ignoring the other 70% of the string for it to be Batman
yea but I love a good rabbit hole 😛
I think.. I've seen enough Rabbit holes to last me a lifetime..
Is the comic from a magazine or pocket? A4? A5?
define pocket for me, I was like "FA...full art alternate cover maybe?" or something but I am completely comic lingo illiterate
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corophium_arenarium hard doubt here, but it goes up to 0.007m
What I mean is what is the paper sheet size that the comic is printed on?
oh, I have no idea q.q
and fish has a point, the Batman theory also omits at least half of the string chars
might just be a funny coincidence but I like the idea...and this Year One plot line is also great lol
these E's are gonna haunt my dreams I swear, happening at position 5 in two strings feels like a lead but I dunno where to go with it

what if it's a hashed version of the tier passcode?
like that feels really direct, but hear me out
I was looking for what a hashed password would look like after encryption, and that string bears a bit of similarity, but we'd still need an encryption key to de-hash it (assuming that's the case of course, I'm currently just throwing things at walls to see what sticks)
crackpot theory: the mathematical function for the egg at the top is the encryption key for the string at the bottom
poking holes: hashed passwords are fixed string lengths, and these three strings are different lengths, and from what I can tell delimiters/hyphens don't occur in hash strings
removed the table idea as it's basically promoting a bruteforce in fancier terms, and that's not in the spirit of ARGs
delimiters/hyphens could occur in salted hash strings but that's a monumental jump in complexity
Didn't they say passwords are lowercase
Does that mean special characters such as !-+_£&@... Have a chance of being there
yep, all lowercase, no spaces, max 30 chars
what's funny is this string, excluding hyphens, is exactly 30 characters
I'm not sure
operating on the preceding solves lacking special characters I'm assuming they won't have special characters until proven wrong
Wait which string are we talking about
bottom string of Keep It Simple
Oh
1404E210DDFD-4FA5E227933D2-1A3DC
book code?
hmm, so ISBN numbers are 13 digit codes
which would only apply to the second part of the string
oh and they're specifically digits, no alphabetical
Ahh :/
maybe Letters Numbers substitution...
Doesn't that make the string longer lol
yea, shit
and I have to leave for a watch party, but the gears are turning. I'll take more stabs at this tomorrow
Note for later: Letters Numbers substitution string: 140452104464-4615522793342-11343
Tried: ISBN number (second string = 13 digits) = dead to my immediate knowledge, no hits
Have fun 👋😁

A possible “82’ connection to Titan. The ice “ocean” that makes up one of the moon’s layers is made of a high pressure ice (Ice VI) which can be present at temperatures up to 82 degrees C. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_VI

I actually dreamt above this easter egg last night
I can remember looking at the words
"helio centric zero datum"
and there were 4 symbols for zero under it
I wonder if there are also clues leading to -143 or and 335 too
Just to make this linking stronger
Oh man I'm gonna attack the hell out of this string when I'm home
Since you guys were talking about a decryption key (although I don't know what those look like) there is a quote on this page that popped out when I read it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korabl-Sputnik_5 : "Vostok 3KA-2 was the key in the door for Gagarin's flight"
— James Oberg, spaceflight researcher
Korabl-Sputnik 5 (Russian: Корабль-Спутник 5 meaning Ship-Satellite 5) or Vostok-3KA No.2, also known as Sputnik 10 in the West, was a Soviet spacecraft which was launched in 1961, as part of the Vostok programme. It was the last test flight of the Vostok spacecraft design prior the first crewed flight, Vostok 1. It carried the mannequin Ivan Iv...
Hope y'all don't mind seeing me typing for a while, I'm gonna break down this string while waiting for pipe to hit my intake table at work lol
Nvm have pen and paper
Ooooh that key thing might be something, can you elaborate how you got there? (Not sure if Sputnik was a clue already)
sputnik was a clue already
then we had roman numeral X, satellites, and radio
Gotcha, I'll add it to my conspiracy board of things to hit this with
There's all these funny little patterns in this string when I break it down, but I feel like I'm spinning my wheels.
So the only three characters that occur in Hex but don't appear in the string are 68B.
Separating and counting how many of each character occur, there's
001112222333444579 AACDDDDDEEFF
I'm kicking around the idea that the two zeroes are actually the degree symbol used in coordinates (which would call back to geocaching to some degree) but that theory falls apart when you hit DDFD in the first string, and zeroes don't occur in the rest of it
My theory for the degree symbol being the clue on Keep It Simple with 0=o, maybe it's not a lowercase o but rather a degree
NEVER.!
Someone grab Rob he escaped the Embark offices and lost his blue, again
I’m always here, hmm, perhaps you will require some final guidance in a week or two… ._.
It’s all Dusty’s fault, as always… ._.
I'll get some dust cleaner for the bot
Thanks for scratching my codebreaker itch SR c: I'll get this string before too long
Though this man was throwing some Steam keys for a second before seeing its EE

yeah steam key for the finals beta

Rob is not hiding keys in the EE hunt
cmon Swa
ive gone mad ;-;
I've been thinking.... time=0, 00:00:00, launching space stuff, astronomical year numbering, calendar...
are we in fact looking for the launch date of the game itself?
No
the big bang?
Basically my prayer at this point
Watch in 6 months my phone is gonna see me type 14 and try to autocorrect to it

today is just day 0

lol i was looking at this and it reminded me of this
Drawing a Kepler Triangle vs the Great Pyramid angle
the kepler triangle's angle is 51.84 = 51m 50s which is very close to 51 degrees and 52 minutes which is the angle of the pyramids
sorry if this link was already made but i just realised lol

Hmmm… I’ve noticed Rob mention Dusty a lot recently - this could actually be a clue. There is a planetary ring called the Dusty Ring.
There might be another too.
The lambda ring of Uranus is also known as a Dusty Ring - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rings_of_Uranus
The rings of Uranus are intermediate in complexity between the more extensive set around Saturn and the simpler systems around Jupiter and Neptune. The rings of Uranus were discovered on March 10, 1977, by James L. Elliot, Edward W. Dunham, and Jessica Mink. William Herschel had also reported observing rings in 1789; modern astronomers are divi...
has Dusty said some text clues?
maybe he's referring to emphasize on those?
Yes
No it was Rob
what
This could mean we won’t find the answer on Wikipedia
the ? is in Swa's name haha
It was Rob who 👀 not Swa
yeah I was pinging 'Swa?' since they asked
Oh lol
the name outline is quite subtle on mine too, hard to tell where it ends
yes, actually Rob says there are a few we haven't found throughout the tiers
sure sure
Maybe he just means it’s more like the Devon Crossing info, which was just on a Devon-related website, not on Wikipedia.
but once we get a URL, it exponentially narrows down the password possibilities right
lmao that happens a lot with Rob's reactions
btw alt code 47 is /
... maybe a forward slash meaning look at a certain website or url
Look at a curtain?
🤣

curtain?
creeps me out
okay ROB do your thing
hahaha I think it could just be a / as in a link, url in relation to TBL
maybe those numbers could be part of it
we've had 404, Rosemary Leith, and (if I recall correctly) the year the internet was introduced, and also the place it was 'invented' and now the /
wait I have a theory
so hear me out here
Assuming Rosemary Leith, right? Chuck Leith was a pretty good connection too.
Or it could be another Leith
It's likely Rosemary and Virginia. Chuck is a good shout but kinda weaker as atmospheres haven't been as central (although the LBNL connection is good)
(Virginia is the BIV actor)
True
okay okay, Rob mentioned TBL for a reason. He knows that we know about him, and he also knows all of how he is confirmed
here
this message is suspicious to me
I think TBL's role in this is different
Yeah, maybe it’s something else about him
I'm already alluding to it actually
I think
it's supposed to be read as T B and L
tbl
as in .TBL, a file extension for a table in List of filename extensions (S–Z)
To Be Left - we are supposed to give up
as in all of those Star Tables that Kepler, and the others drew up
they've come up loads and I did suspect they were connected somehow
Star Catalogues are all known as tables!
such as this one
this is Kepler's
perhaps the exact one we need
“He was honoured as the "Inventor of the World Wide Web" during the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in which he appeared working with a vintage NeXT Computer.” A possible sports arena link
It's only since, on this list, TBL being short for .table is the only thing that could possibly be what the phrase TBL is alluding to
and the very reason Rob writes TBL instead of TimBL as he is more commonly known
also, I just spotted CD appearing there
At the very least this is definitely a path worth exploring
yeah idk it's just the first direct connection between TBL and Kepler/Copernicus I could find so I thought it might have merit
i liked someones theory on that number on how 1401E.. is like
1st clue 404 error
Wonder how we'd decipher the rest then
yeah been trying to figure that out too
i looked through 12938 numbers of the golden number to see if iuts there
hahaha
this Hipparchus (from Nicaea) guy also made the first star catalogue
so this is how Star Catalogues (.tbl -> table) connect to Kepler
"By studying Tycho Brahe's observational data, Kepler derived his three laws of planetary motion and then compiled them into the Rudolphine Tables"
wow everyone here is green
we like to talk
I wonder if the regular 404 page Nama Tama has anything in it
i was wondering why you guys were looking at the 404 page
it's connected...
it's all connected...
mannn
mainly cause the first clue this tier was a 404 image
and the 404 page has Rob's signature .!
ahhh okayy
robb and the team are so good at making these
and you guys are just smart
i wouldnt even know where to start
hahaha I wouldn't call it smart
just a dedication to looking at Wiki pages
and having a lot of spare time
I mean I see a few artifact looking things in the normal 404 page but I can't point to them easily on mobile
also I do wanna add that we haven't found anything in this image yet, so if someone wants to play around in Photopea or count some pixels or something, it would be awesome if anything was found
ay man its dedication at least !
don't know how much of it is artefact or intention, but I think the only thing we found was that the light radiance looks like saturn's rings
overlayed for comparison
oiooh
i think that might just be posterized image
but it looks like saturns rings
Yes unfortunately that is just banding, neither D, C, B, A, F, G or E are hidden here... I've been trying, but it got a bit too far fetched... but as you have seen earlier these lovely rings have been hidden in multiple images, and not only to honor our friend Galileo Galilei... ._.
Yes, they do... ._.
the names of the saturn rings... ._.
