I don't think they're holes - they look like yellow hollows
wait yeah you're not supposed to see the background at that angle
or even through the hole, the flap is too thick
or even the stand of the lmg
why is the image on paglet not max res one ? π€
it's much too bright for that
padlet probably downscales a bit
You can see the actual holes for fastening here
pins
yes they the punch things u use with leather
full res is pinned
yes, like rivets (or whatever leather makers call their version of a rivet)
well i pinned it in my browser π
that attachment strap I marked the holes with the red arrows above is probably attached to the larger one with those rivet things
yes
like this
the ammo pouch in flipped
the belt side is shown
both are different things tho π€
they are
design for me
idk, there's a slightly smaller chance that it's meaningful to us
the only small meaning i can find is that size of ammo pouch is only used by germans
but, it's for an LMG
how would a smaller one work
tru
@fallen jasper in case you want to update the picture from the Padlet ππ»
why are the bullets in the magazine of the mac-10 silver but on the gun they are gold
this time it seems like we have a lot more clues to go off of
Mac-10 wiki: "It is chambered in either .45 ACP or 9mm"
so the acp is in the mag, i think I remember messages saying this yesterday now sorry
Looks like a spaghetti western skin for them eh?
any other image to look at ?
What is this? A spur?
ye
yep a spur I think
is that the thing on the back of the boots
yep
whats their purpose?
to stab the horse to go faster
ohh
i think
but
something like that
to point more to Westerns
wait the ammo in pouch is for LMG ?
why's there 2 badges in the first place haha
but the LMG has diff kind of ammo
yeah it seems like its a belt so LMG
no the back of the round is different
on all ?
i didnt see anyone post about the 'X' in specific so has anyone found the purpose of this being here
3 X's in the photo so far
2 on badgets, 1 in missar X
devoncrossing
dead sheriff ?
all the guns have ornaments, anything ?
I think the art also introduces the "Spaghetti Western" gunskins to us
ayy
so whats the password
If you could just start with the password kind sir, that would be awesome
lol

Mariotto Albertinelli died in 1515
I have been doing some of my own research in a slightly different direction
the horns are of bull or something else ?
A very small longhorn?
a shorthorn
smol horns of smolhorn
I was waiting for you to tell us
Duh is gonna be like
"ive been doing some research on my own and I think i found out the password to t2-b"
i mentioned earlier #easter-eggs message
I still dont see the one on the other badge though
spent some time looking for sheriffs and x of badges but nothing of use came up
Hopalong Cassidy. Also known as "Hoppy" because his character was shot in the leg and has a bit of a 'hop' when he walks. Clad in all black. He had an amusement park called Hoppyland in the 50's located in Venice, Los Angeles.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hopalong_Cassidy#Film_history
Hopalong Cassidy is a fictional cowboy hero created in 1904 by the author Clarence E. Mulford, who wrote a series of short stories and novels based on the character. Mulford portrayed the character as rude, dangerous, and rough-talking. He was shot in the leg during a gun fight which caused him to walk with a little "hop", hence the nickname.

but its quite glaring that its there on purpose
There's also Sergio Leone, the "Father" of Spaghetti Westerns
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergio_Leone
Sergio Directed the first films that Clint Eastwood ever starred in. A trilogy of films called The Dollars Trilogy.
Sergio Leone (Italian: [ΛsΙrdΚo leΛoΛne]; 3 January 1929 β 30 April 1989) was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter credited as the pioneer of the Spaghetti Western genre and widely regarded as one of the most influential directors in the history of cinema.Leone's film-making style includes juxtaposing extreme close-up shots with l...
Yes, I think this is good. Just because we were given Frank Kramer, doesn't mean we shouldn't explore other Spaghetti Westerns
So we have a Director that made films
The first film, "A Fistful of Dollars" was base on a Japanese film called Yojimbo.
Ingredients that makes spaghetti
ahh :/ i see
the X could be in relation to the X's in the hunt
yeah true
also the pixel thing on the back of the bullets also continues here
00111111011
or 111111011
or 11011111100
pixel thing?
Yojimbo was also the inspiration for Django
Yeah, those primer marks look too intentional π€
there is also a Old django movie its also a Spaghetti Western
yeah duh also mentioned it earlier @neon stream how the dots on the primer are 2x2 pixels
which is weird
10111111111
could it be a geocache thing
i think someone calculated it was a P or smth lemme find it
P for Parolini?
@slender lodge βπ»
oh that was a diff thing lmao nvm
110111111
yeah that too
"Several Spaghetti Westerns are inspired by classical myths and dramas. Titles like Fedra West (also called Ballad of a Bounty Hunter) and Johnny Hamlet signify the connection to the Greek myth and possibly the plays by Euripides and Racine and the play by William Shakespeare, respectively. The latter also inspired Dust in the Sun (1972), which follows its original more closely than Johnny Hamlet, where the hero survives. The Forgotten Pistolero is based on the vengeance of Orestes. There are similarities between the story of The Return of Ringo and the last canto of Homer's Odyssey. Fury of Johnny Kid follows Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, but (again) with a different endingβthe loving couple leave together while their families annihilate each other."
spagetti western movies are basically low budget italian films?
yeah pretty much
ahhh alrigg
also present on the bullets in the ammo pouch
Also thought the title of this film was interesting. Featuring Hopalong Cassidy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_Gold_(1940_film)
reminds me of 12-bit marker patterns a little

whats that
they are coded markers but just looking at the grim on the ends I thought it was similar
interesting, but they're all the same
this becomes
1535 in decimal
the white dots ARE intentional for sure
they are accross all of them
ill do some levels changes
I thought this was looked at yesterday
was it done already?
I pointed them out but didn't have a chance to put them through photoshop
lets go!
ayo they are
nice
either that or it's some weird reflecting with the shape of the bump in the middle
well off to pt have fun
It's just the primer lol
better see a password when i get back
no its intentional painted over
we cant dismiss it
or imma tell wooper on all of you
I'm doubting this because of how grouped together the ones with the dots are
this could really just be reflection
Also I'm setting the cover art to the newest image Embark gives us now
I think if it was just reflection then they wouldn't all be perfect 2x2 pixels
also im pretty sure u guys already looked at this
whats that
where was that
reflection on the lmg
on the forearm grip?
b/w with
i think youve gone too far with the levels
yeah lol
yeah i think it cut out some details
very much possible lol
the primer dots stand out as artist meddling to me
^
I can see it now
the dots on ammo is a +1 for me too
we have (so far)
- carton nd eggs
- frank kramer (confirmed)
- 1315 on hat
- Kommisar X
or flour + eggs
milk or flour π€
right yeye
i think ima stop trying to find more clues in the image and research a bit on Kramer
since we already have mutiple now but not all connect
- the SMG inscription
discovery
it obviously isn't on the actual model of the gun
and it isn't on the other guns
or appearing in any other image
and it's made pretty visible to us
so I'd assume it matters somewhat
pouch :- 10111111111
lmg ammo:- 110111111
a lot of 1s
fun coincidence π
co.. coincidence??
yoo
(nr 1315)
what film or episode was based on this story
i noticed but i didnt think it was anything haha
since it would be like
real life people real life location
okay I'm not sure how the number is 1315, seeing as there are only 620 of them
"Kommissar X" (German for "Commissioner X") was composed by Gerhard Trede. 35a. "The Secret Box" - SpongeBob sneaks all of the way to Patrick's house. 43a. spongebob fandom lol
:kek:
Okay there's a Kommisar X novel with a name I'd rather not touch
we have hope

"The Ecstasy of Gold" (Italian: L'estasi dell'oro) is a musical composition by Ennio Morricone, part of his score for the 1966 Sergio Leone film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. It is played while Tuco (Eli Wallach) is frantically searching a cemetery for the grave that holds $200,000 in gold coins. Sung by Edda Dell'Orso, it stands as one of th...
whats this related to
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a spaghetti western
its the music score
seems interesting because the plot is about finding buried treasure
ohh
ultimately they find the gold in a grave marked "Unknown"
which is not the password sadly
so the password is unknown?
It's no-
Yojimbo provided inspiration for Star Wars, Last Man Standing and Samurai Jack as well
im finding it hard to find the connectoin between the musical score and frank kramer π€
apart from the wild west theme /spagetti western
AHhh
figured it was still worth pursuing
yeye fair
im tryna see what 1315 could mean π€
maybe a date?
like 13th of a month 2015
1:15 pm
GALA
oh yeah that too
go sleep my guy
how do u not enjoy sleep sleep is like th ebest thing in the world
That are you asleep meme happened with me π
same tbh
π€
sleep is only nice when you are sleepy. id rather not have to sleep in the first place
lol
prescription meth
whattt
how i see it is that sleep is a good break from everyday things
when i slepe, i forget about the troubles of the day and get to move on to the next day
its not π sleep is like the only reason i can keep sane
if u didnt have to sleep, you could have more time to crack these easter egg hunts
but yeah you'd have more time in the real world if you didnt sleep for sure
legend has it that embark studios purposely made the EE hunt hard so that we get tired --> we get sleepier and so we dont solve it faster
its all their plan
they want us to fall asleep so they can kidnap us and implant chips in our brains that interface with the virtual arena

This movie has a lot of plot already
Just because It's the one listed on his wiki page lol
Aren't ther 6 othrrs too
hmm i wonder if we need to watch them tho lol
i wouldnt want u to waste ur time on it haha sice that'd be like 14h+
There's a character named Apollo

On mobile so can't auto translate
Almost home tho
no way man
If you try to screen cap the amazon priime video player it shows black
They take piracy seriously i guess
just watch it on youtube lol
Apollo is a scientist experimenting with lasers
I'm watching it now too lol
This is one of those "It's so bad it's good" scenarios haha
This is why Discord needs a watch party feature
Totally!
Yes everywhere
it does have a watch party feature for youtube lol. you have to be in a voice call tho
I tried "golfclubs" as a password haha
anything
@tulip matrix the red box is interesting
How's that?
I spose he did hide the filter thing in there
that it changes hands a few times
Well, that was 90 minutes I'll never get back
90x6 more to go
I'm already 15 minutes into "Kiss Kiss. Kill Kill."
π
We're not making much progress here, are we?
That 1315 on the hat is odd considering the other clues - Frank Kramer, Kommissar X and the Spaghetti Westerns, western gunskins.
Did you see this? not sure how connected that might be, but that's the Nr. 1315 of those series of books
But yeah, we should figure out what the connection with that 1315 is, that's probably our final missing link
I did a quick Google search and I couldn't find much info, so it might not be. But I leave it in case someone else finds a connection
@tulip matrix I'm watching 'If You Meet Sartana Pray for Your Death' - A Spaghetti Western that Gianfranco Parolini directs
imagine were totally wrong
It's not unlikely
I switched to 'Sabata', because the quality of 'If You Meet Sartana Pray for Your Death' was terrible. Sabata looks pretty good so far
It opens with them putting cash in a vault π
Hmm
π
quite a good western so far - there's a robbery underway
did you find the password yet
Not yet. This Sabata movie is pretty interesting though - acrobats play a minor role in it - the vault is a cube and money exchanges hands a lot
I've got about half an hour of it to go
The main character wears almost all black
similar to the black cape under the guns in the concept art, plus the hat (although no yellow band)
Also the three characters on the same side are a big guy, the main character (normal size guy), and the little acrobat...
G'daymorning!
I just about spat my drink out when I saw this at the end of the movie
Thank you for your service RHB π«‘
LOL
It's actually a very good western - I enjoyed it a lot. And there are many things you can choose to relate to TF. Still no idea what the password could be though
damn
This is the vault in the movie being stolen
galileo went to hairdressing to hide from the church
Iβm new here, what password, and what was that person in the credits?
Ah, those are both quite big questions! We're trying to work out a password for an Easter Egg we've been presented with (as part of a series). Galileo (as in the astronomer) has been an ongoing clue in the series of easter eggs so far. And we currently don't have a password for the current easter egg.
Check out pinned messages for more info
Hmmm x on it, by any chance there are two sheriff in the Move?
Morning
No, just one, I think.
There's a corrupt judge and a sheriff
This is the sabata movie rht ?
Yeah
Which was directed by "Frank Kramer" = Gianfranco Parolini
These are the 3 good characters in the movie - little acrobat dude on the left, the big guy in the middle, and the main character on the right
Honestly, it was bizarre watching that movie - if all of these things are a coincidence that is very weird
There was a scene where the little acrobat guy was jumping from roof to roof
Whatβs the closest connection you can make, even if itβs a stretch
It's a mixture - trio of different size characters one of which does parkour-type moves, a vault that's like a box which gets dragged around (with an X on it), the main character almost all in black like the current concept art fabrics. I'll assume the hairdresser named Galileo is a fluke!
There was actually a lot of comedy in it - the big guy was pretty hilarious
It was a fun watch
here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP73qOX0IBU
Any progress on 9mm and 32 ?
Wait go to
9:32 and 13:15 in the movie
And look for something
yeah, I thought of 1315 too! Nothing really there - some soldier barely alive at 13:19
Still post ss of both just in case
ok... 9:32 is exactly when the vault is being stolen!
Solider barely alive, x on sheriff badge ?
Like x == dead
9:32 the vault being stolen
13:15 dying soldier staggering through the streets after being mortally stabbed
15:13 the character on the right says "that safe had a hundred thousand dollars in it"
Intresting
32:09 relatively minor character dies after being shot by the main bad guy
Are you asking me? or just a rhetorical question?
Any sheriff in the scenes?
I think the sheriff doesn't wear a badge
he's a very minor role
He's the tall guy in the middle of the scene where someone says the safe had 100k in it above
Ok i like the 9:32 scene the most
I'm going for dinner, but will ponder a possible password
13:15 could also mean 1:15
are you eating spaghetti?
Lol no! Turkish kebabs tonight
had spaghetti for dinner last night
Haha I was like.. you guys watching movies in here now!? But no, its EE business
I know right!

Good morning yolk folk
morning
ok so another coincidence ?
sum of these two binary number is 1982
15:35 and 4:47?
at 15:35 you can see this
and at 4:47 he talks about Battle of Richmond
The Battle of Richmond, Kentucky, fought August 29β30, 1862, was one of the most complete Confederate victories in the war by Major General Edmund Kirby Smith against Union major general William "Bull" Nelson's forces, which were defending the town. It was the first major battle in the Kentucky Campaign. The battle took place on and around what ...

I'm reorganizing the Padlet again there's been a rather large uptick in speculation when I was asleep
Yeah sorry π I was struggling to find a place for my tangents
It's alright!
I'll probably have to reorganize it again later depending on if we get more hints
The reorganization is complete, for now.
add a block to padlet for a link t1-a ?
welcome back!
Added

subbed β
TY
btw, is your padlet the latest?
awesome
interesting choice to keep this block this side
I usually try to keep the speculation next to the most relevant connected evidence, in this case Kommissar is the less important connection than the 1315.
and here i thought a new clue appeared
idk if this could be something, but there seems to be a dot pattern on the LMG bullet rims (on the "primer")
ye, i forgot to tell
gotcha
some images of the same
pls add to it
Ok so this film is not a spaghetti western or a Kommisar X film but it has 3 protagonists (two of which are the co-stars of the Kommisar X films). Directed by Frank Kramer. They wear bulletproof black capes and suits but the suits are not fireproof. There's a small acrobatic one (who is also mute for some reason), a slightly bigger, slightly less acrobatic one and a big strong guy who's not acrobatic. They're hired to rob a chest full of millions of dollars and valuables from a US embassy which looks like a portico from a cathedral. The robbery turns out to be an FBI sting called operation Burning Chestnut.

ok these beads are like those of a priest
and parolini made a movie
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God's_Gun
Van Cleef plays a double-role of brothers: a priest and a reformed gunfighter.
If it was a priest and a sheriff I would say that's a very solid connection
Everytime the money exchanges hands in this movie there is the sound of an "angelic choir" for a moment
The direction is very on the nose in these films
so its pretty darn awesome is what you're saying
do the devs give hints ?
I want to pledge we have movie nights at some point where we watch all movie references for the easter eggs
no
they give some hints through images yeah
just images ye
sometimes they react to posts that are on the right track

they have a dedicated embarker rendering namatamas all day..
with all kinds of small hints

well idk if its related or not but the t1-a image has flag of indonesia on one of the building (on the left)

WHAT
I thought that was monaco?

haha they have the same flag apparantly
The flags for these two countries are almost identicalβtwo horizontal stripes, red over whiteβbut Indonesia's is longer. Both flags date back hundreds of years.
i see, my bad
They are entertaining, that's for sure!

meta maymays
You guys know that meme with a guy tripping down the stairs?
Anyway apparently that is explicit for discord
so the "Reproducer" in this movie is a machine that can duplicate an infinite amount of gold bars
The villains hideout is straight up just the Willy Wonka factory but for money
Should we also be looking for things that relate to 1064? There's a "Tier 2ABC", that's a weird nomenclature, I'm guessing that it might combine the clues from "Tier 1A" to "Tier 1C" π€
I like this theory
Pls check 10:64 in whichever movie u are watching
you mean 11:04? π
I'm not watching any of those movies π
@fallen jasper congrats on the finalist role!!
Easter Egg Hunt Movie night and I missed it?! lol
Anything new
whats a finalist
is ranks just how many messages you send?
Yeah, each message has a short cool down for XP though
Not entirely sure how long it is
4k messages in a month and a half is unheard of for me lol
I usually get 4k after like half a year on most servers I'm active on
do you go outside?
No
what is this
idk someone said it to me
I'm averaging 87 messages a day
when we get more lore i'll definitely reach your MPH
NOOOO KERMIT π’
How many memes per minute tho
I did the math for how much I talked on another server, let me pull it up
9.6k in 2016
6.2k in 2017
500 in 2018
2k in 2019
20k in 2020
3.2k in 2021
2.8k in 2022
So in a month I've talked more than I did on that several over the course of a few years almost LOL
What about me
241 on average
Swa has 12,333 messages, Darnoux 'only' has 9800 something.

It's cuz I talk in pieces
Hahahha
Darnoux is like "all this effort..for it to be called ONLY?!?"
I just don't talk if I don't think I can add anything to the conversation even if it's kinda stupid to think that way
I think that's fair
π
Gahah
what's that about being a menace
Darnoux's maymays >>
I mean that in a metaphysical sense.

IF this turns out to be correct, then the connection between Tier 1A and Tier1B (assumming it is related to Kommissar X) could be this. Of the 500 stories, 38 include "Tod" (Death) in the title, two of those are 1064 and 1315. Maybe too far fetched? π€
Itβs on YT: https://youtu.be/QkHXSPjeIIA

Rio Bravo is a 1959 American Western film, directed by Howard Hawks. The script was written by Jules Furthman and Leigh Brackett, based on a short story by B.H. McCampbell. The film is considered one of the masterpieces of American Cinema.

If youβve never watched a western I highly recommend Rio Bravo, one of Tarantinoβs favourite films. John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson (hence the singing). Such a classic for movie buffs.
So nostalgic

All of Frank Kramers films from 1962 are starring Brad Harris
Brad Harris was born in St. Anthony, Idaho.
St. Anthony might reference Saint Anthony of Padua (Italy) aka the patron saint of lost things.
Galileo was a professor at the University of Padua.
haha thanks
If this turns out to be the right path, this is, by far, the hardest clue so far
inb4 its just a type of pasta

Padua is also known as "the city of the three withouts" by its inhabitants as it homes the Cafe without doors (Pedrocchi CafΓ©, as it never closed in the past), the meadow without grass (Prato della Valle, in ancient time a bog, now one of the biggest squares in Europe) and the Saint without a name (referred to St. Anthony's Church, called by the Paduani simply "the Saint")
The flag of Padua
oh thats a big plus
There's also Antoninus of Florence who was also a Saint Anthony. Florence being another place related to Galileo
Padua has a chapel called The Scrovegni Chapel, which is also known as the Arena Chapel - it has a fresco by Giotto - Giotto was the name of the spacecraft that went through the tail of Halley's comet.
what about the spaghet
I'd actually been keeping an eye out for Giotto appearing because the latest clue - the guns and OSPUZE logo look like the shape of a comet
what number is it
huh?

the tabs lol
Good find. I didn't know Giotto had an asteroid too
not the pw though...
The spacecraft got named after him because he used Halley's comet as the Star of Bethlehem in a painting
@tulip matrix you're almost putting more time into this than Tarkov!

i use edge
Firefox
yes
bing might give us the answers we need
I haven't played Tarkov in a week because of this shit

"What would happen if humans used 100% of there brains?"

Robert Bellarmine, SJ (Italian: Roberto Francesco Romolo Bellarmino; 4 October 1542 β 17 September 1621) was an Italian Jesuit and a cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was canonized a saint in 1930 and named Doctor of the Church, one of only 37. He was one of the most important figures in the Counter-Reformation.

HE WAS PART OF THE GALILEO TRIAL
bruh
it's too good to be tru
He's been giving us that hint all this time and we didn't realise /s
hey
hey guys
just look at my name for fucks christ sake
By the way, Giotto was alive and painting in 1315
I'm so happy that I wasn't crazy with the numbers on the brim. After all of our weird "is this a number" on the Barrels image, it felt like a stretch to say that there was something on the hat haha
Hello everyone. I see the insanity chamber is alive and well
Thriving
Duh make sure you stay hydrated
RockhoundBlack donβt eat too much popcorn watching all those movies

Found rob a new pfp
Just need to add a Volcom logo
I added Saint Rob to my username for guidance on this easter egg hunt π
Does SR have any relics?
π
π how does the search go egg hunters?
just speculations i think
That forehead tho π³
i think so
Ok ππΌ
then it was this
many wisdom folds on that dome
Oh boy what have I done? Poor Rob π
@tulip matrix I'm blaming you for sending the original pic π
I accept
this is hilarious
I noticed something new, but very subtle
This spur thing beside the star has blue and orange colours
Giotto's painting of the Adoration of Magi in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua - in which he used Halley's comet to base the star of Bethlehem on, has the same colours (or very close to them)
i dont see blue or am i blind
Here's the spur super zoomed in - like I said, it's very subtle
i think thats just the shadow
yeah, maybe
a bit brighter
might be brown as well
its a string attached to the star
I think it's too hard to tell, or base a clue on, probably
I think we should work out where the longhorns come from - maybe the breed
like the plant clue we missed in the last image
ok, Texas Longhorns (which it looks closest to), came from the Iberian Peninsula in Spain, with the Spanish conquistadores
Wiki: "The Texas Longhorn derives from cattle brought to the Americas by Spanish conquistadores from the time of the Second Voyage of Christopher Columbus until about 1512."
@neon stream I did my best
LOL now rob has two pictures to choose from π

That is brilliant @tulip matrix!
AMAZiNG.!
Haha thanks!
We expect you to use them π
Honestly looks more like a pirate than a priest
I guess you are a professional artist, my dear artists at embark donβt stand a chance.!! β€οΈ

You might call it a Duhsaster!
I noticed that after posting it and was like "eeehhh fuck it, it's terrible anyway." haha
adds to the meme if anything
I just noticed with the image flipped horizontally, that this looks like the mark of Zorro
The actor of the Zorro died in Argentina π€
He lived a lot of time there, in Argentina he was really loved. I've watched the series many times π
Guy Williams! that was his name, I forgot
Never seen the Mark of Zorro, but I have seen The Mask of Zorro.
The Mark of Zorro was the first one, back in 1920 with Douglas Fairbanks. I think it's been remade a few times
Didn't even know there where others honestly
