If it's Crockford's Base32:

Doesn't seem useful 😂
About as useful as everything else we've found to be fair
I just tried to bruteforce this:
aiXouoa
And I changed X to a-z and 0-9 all lower case. 36 attempts none of those were successful. So that eliminates any confusion about the 3rd character I suppose
If there's confusion about any other character let me know and I can double check real fast
Here's a quick throw together of the pieces and the statue text
The i on the first debris look a bit like it has a slanted dot, so I've tried with:
aíOouoa
aí0ouoa
No luck with that either
ran it through with í no luck here either
is the last o, on the third piece of debri a small sigma (σ)? 😂
αίϴοuσα
(still looking for some letters)
Easy: an in-game fraternity: alpha iota theta theta upsilon sigma alpha 😛
Sorry, linked the wrong spelling/word haha
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/αίθουσα (αίθουσα)
This can't be a mere coincidence, but the word or it's translations doesn't work as password :/
i think it's alpha iota (with tonos) theta **omnicron **upsilon sigma alpha
hmm hemlocks?
True, it should be omicron 😂
in the new cathedral image they darkened the bottom bar
Yep, unsure why 🤔
no beans
Aww, deleted it because I accidentally tagged you
Room + the constant “rest up” “relax” felt like bedroom
It's okay. The discord ping sound releases a small amount of serotonin into my brain
I don't know how useful this might be, but... guess what's in the Chapter room in the Palazzo dell'Opera... ||The Pisa Griffin||
(not useful, any room is a room 😛 )
maybe they're just telling us to focus our efforts on the inside of the cathedral
did anyone read up on the cathedral when it was burnt into flames
I was just joking, but that actually sounds plausible 😂
make more jokes because it's working!
where do we go with this now
to the shadowrealm
Just found out realized that the swirly lamp posts exists irl in Monaco, that's cool
If you look, the entire map is incredible close to the real Monaco, it's really cool :D
the Renaissance was a revival of art and science
Yeah, that much I already knew. But it's cool to see that the lamp posts were real as well 😄
Yeah! The attention to detail is super cool IMO
right one is def the Alpha symbol
left one is sigma

wait did u guys alr talk about this
σα
yes we found out αίθουσα (aíthousa) which is room in english

hahaha
ill take that
early genius
and trident is also a greek alphabet so this is a good lead ig
einstein 2
trident = "Psi"
the updated version
new features!
when's the trailer for that dropping
It dropped in the 16th century
Now invent that time machine Einstein!
hahahahah
This symbol made me thing of ϭ (but turned backwards)
Then I noticed the last o looked like a sigma, and thats when Darnoux said "isn't it greek" and it was just to switch out each letter to a corresponding greek character

SPEAR
I just now understand the joke haha
this whole time I'm like? "The hell does this have to do with inches?"
hahaha yes, too meta
please, carry on with the hunt
i am lurking while writing the script for my new video on THE FINALS
THE FINALS drive got updated with the images but they were higher resolution and so they analyzed the strange things on the ground and found it spells αίθουσα
which translates to 'room' or 'hall' or 'parlor'... etc
I'm thinking that it's referring to the cathedral halls? something about it?
ooh that's awesome
yes, i would initially think it is a hint towards the inside of the cathedral(s)
Would something like this be useful to us?
https://padlet.com/duhmeistertv/jn8pzep2feryjhm6
agreed!
Here I'll share it with a QR Code

Are you able to edit? I'm not sure how to enable that unless you have to make an account and I can add you
yepp
is this editable by everyone?
yeah anyone with the link
I've set it so you can give each post a 1-5 star rating based on how plausible we think the clues are
nah that's a one-star
least plausible clue
clearly fake
I can also set it to Likes, Upvotes/Downvote and numerical scores if one of those seems like a better system
maybe up/down could be nice
idk
both work
6/5!!!!
ok what am i doing with my life
thinking i can read this
TRUE
actually im trying to find a connection between room and griffin and oriri ex cinere and phoenix
@fringe trench I removed mine, if it's not a creeper haha
bahahaahahhahab
i love that meme
lmao
I love the way you laugh with a trailing b and half bold
😮

i had a stroke while laughing thats why haha
ikrr
even in the song
such a common phrase probs
"you spread your wings and oriri ex cinere"
I found that apparently, "the earliest depiction of griffins are the 15th century BC frescoes in the Throne Room of the Bronze Age Palace of Knossos". Knossos is in Crete, Greece
organized the doc a lil bit

i think we made good progress for the hunt
lol @mortal ivy dont worry about organization
It's my biggest problem :mildpanic:
Added level 1 completion and a link to that google doc, so we can keep this as a good place to gather info
Mods / Community Managers / Devs wherever you are, please pin this board
^
i keep accidentally opening links and profiles

same, its very sensitive to touch
Yeah the ui for this is a bit cramped
just like me
I would eggpet you now, but gotta say no to nitro

cyber bullying

Annoying that I can't edit the aithousa and fire griffin posts since I created an account. It should recognize that it was I who added them before i signed up
smh
ahhahaha yeahh
this is why i prefer paint
when in doubt just delete the whole thing cuz its just 1 layer

so smart

physically hyperactive dementia
If you'd like I can delete those and you repost them
i forgor
nah, its fine ❤️ i added what i needed as comments

I like this alot!
yeah a good summary of the easter egg hunt on the document + a visual representation of a timeline in padlet
i hope both can be kept updated 😄
thanks Flex and Duh for making them
Well im keeping it up to date with confirmed things not all the chaos
adding the suggestions on padlet helps visually tie it together. which makes it much easier to understand for people that drop in and out of chat
Yeah, these are great. Looking forward to spending more time on these later today.
only thing padlet is missing is a zoom out feature haha
yes of course, but that minimizes the page, but it's good enough for just wanting a better oversight
Good idea to enlarge the Embark provided stuff!
Omg.. a murder board!
Awesome that yall using padlet
I love it tools that I normally use in education to be used for something actually significant (my students are assholes)
Don’t worry about it
I use Miro at work, which offers a bit more functions, but the padlet board works great for being free 😄
I really do like the line graph style
Really concise to quickly glean everything you need from it.
There's also this, not sure which one you wanted
Oh nice! Yes even better thanks!
Me as well
Thumbs down egg :(
There's just so little info on it :/
It's literally an Easter Egg
but I don't know how to get a password out of it
I see it XD
Oh shit :/ Lemme try and dig up something
Wait so what are we trying to find out
spill yo BEANS
well we got a lot of ideas but we dunno how they conenct
i said my idea 🥹
oriri ex cinere got us phoenix
the fire image got us the pisa griffin which got us the cathedral and now the egg
the greek 'room' still stands as its own thing too
oh 😂 i cant readdddd ;
hehehe its okii
Could we convert 12pm March 25th into a number perhaps, as the password?
Also try PisanNewYear?
🥹
not this
This sunbeam thing seems very Easter Eggy
one interesting thing about midnight is that the time is 0000
can someone send me a link to the finals website? I keep trying to get onto it and only getting a travel guide
Thank you!
It’s midday though isn’t it?
Not much sun at midnight
must be from the north pole
Swedish midday
we only kid
😌
I like this sunbeam path - it has that treasure hunt kind of feel to it
whats the angle
That’s the question. Hmmm…
whats this whole thing even called tho lol
how do i search for it
"easter egg on cathedral wall due to sunlight angle march 25??"
😭
egg??
The Phoenix is depicted on ancient Roman coins as a symbol of the Eternal City
This example of a very scarce bronze ½ centenionalis coin was one of small quantity that were minted for a brief period between 348 and 350 AD. It was issued in the names of Roman emperors Constans and Constantius II, both sons of Constantine The Great, to commemorate the 1100th anniversary celebration of the founding of the old city of Rome on April 21st, 348 AD. On the obverse is found the bust of the emperor, his name and abbreviated titles. The coin’s reverse shows the image of a Phoenix bird perched on either a globe or a mound of stones (pyre) with light radiating from its head, and the inscription FEL TEMP REPARATIO (Latin: Happy Days Are Here Again).
21st of April 348 AD
doesnt work
Is March 25 on Julian or Gregorian calendar? Did you guys try switching it to the other type?

When you're trying to upload a video and it gets stuck on processing HD:

sorry
is oki 🥹
The Doge of Venice ( DOHJ; Venetian: Doxe de Venexia [ˈdɔze de veˈnɛsja]; Italian: Doge di Venezia [ˈdɔːdʒe di veˈnɛttsja]; all derived from Latin dux, "military leader"), sometimes translated as Duke (compare the Italian Duca), was the chief magistrate and leader of the Republic of Venice between 726 and 1797.

I've gone too deep
Bro's lookin like General Grievous
ima make a meme
Looking at this padlet makes me super confused lmao
Maybe Duh and Rob are the same person.
Create the Easter egg then solve it - looks like a hero. This will get made into a movie one day.
A low-budget movie, but a movie nonetheless.
🤔 any luck?
getting there slowly ;3 @floral plover
i believe in you guys
no more lead
no more pencils
those are graphite
about 3 sentences up

so for the easter egg, continuing the research of Duh's points on March 25th, Resurrection of Jesus, Easter Eggs and Paschal Eggs (Greek Eggs), I found an interesting game that is popular in Greek culture called Tsougrisma
Which is an egg tapping game not exclusive to the Greek culture but it's celebrated with red eggs where person 1 and person 2 hit their eggs at the same point at the same time and whoever's egg cracks loses
Goes on until the last person
The last person (winner) is considered to have a really good luck for the whole year
do griffins lay eggs
I like to reference the 404 page where NamaTama is also cracked I wonder if there's something to that because there's mentions of 'respawn'
yeah they do
wack
dint know that lol
its all comin together
...and in the Greek Easter, they celebrate it cuz it's the resurrection of Jesus Christ.. "and the promise of an afterlife"
Yeah kinda, but we're still missing links between some things
i dont wanna go through the 100s of possible passwords
exactly lol
i tried so many with these articles and papers i read but none worked
damn
wish i had time to help with this
so many stupid thoughts inside my head i could be sharing
you're free to just blankly mention them linking it even vaguely to one of the things
ye ill try to throw some dumb ideas in here
😄
i dunno much about harry potter :/
The cracking of the red eggs has its own symbolism, as well. The hard shell of the egg symbolizes the sealed tomb of Christ while the cracking means that the tomb has been broken and that Christ has been resurrected from the dead.
idk if this is common knowledge cuz im very unreligious and i also dunno anything about religions in general
Do we think maybe that "egg" is NamaTama?
yeah thats where i was trying to find references to namatama
but namatama isn't red
What about the Pisa Griffen?
there are other places where egg tapping happens without them being red
Oh wait is that this?
dunno
yeah
the promise, hmmmmm
Just throwing this out there but Lithuanian tradition is to paint eggs on easter. Could that mean anything as to why namatama is painted?
looks like a triangle made of triangles :l
As with any other game, it has been a subject of cheating; eggs with cement, alabaster and even marble cores have been reported
Easy egg-ti cheat required
phoenix resurrection is linked to christ res
looks like a poem links it
There lies a place far off, on the eastern edge of the world,
A blessed place, where the great portal of the eternal skies stands open:
The place does lie close to the sun's rising in summer or winter
But close to the point where it pours light from its chariot in spring
describes the home of the phoenix
the eastern garden its called
do we have a rough idea what culture were looking at
nope
oof
"The pyre gave birth to a brand-new phoenix. It flew to Heliopolis, the “city of the sun,” with the ashes of its predecessor embalmed inside an egg of myrrh, where the egg was placed on the altar of the sun god. It was typically shown as a heron in Egyptian art, but a peacock or an eagle in classic literature."\
ye thats on the chart i think
but it doesnt tie into christian phoenix
imma focus on different religions n whatnot
this looks more promising than bashing 2 eggs for a game 🥴
Hey that's fun :(
its fun but doesnt seem like thats gonna help find the password ;-;
its so interesting tho
so we can open all the tiers of 1
so is there a chance we have a password but havent tried it in the right place
but where do you try it ._.
^
oh ok thanks
so have the passwords tried been put into every password input
THis where we put passwords in?
it has the link
so like
yah thats for tier 1 - a
dunno haha
you can try
i dont have the energy for all that
i think we've just been trying to get T1A unlocked
What combinations do we have/need to do can i am super bored and would do it
yeah
anyone know for sure if thats the right move
T 1-A

wouldnt hurt to ask if we should focus on one or all 6
they usually dont answer these questions
You you've done all passwords in the doc there?
I'll get to work i'll tell ya'll if i find something
fosho
if you want some referencesz
The Byzantine 💀 so many referneces to that
Not a single password in the doc worked
yeah thats why they're there 😂
passwords in the doc are all passwords that have been tried
OH
Has anyone explored the Aethousa and Poseidon path? This seems like a strong one to me with two clues about them in that last post.
hindu has some good connections
i wonder if we can find these passwords raw from information on websites or if theres some kind of reachthefinals/(link) that will give us the exact password
I think the former, which is why that password page was set up.
I'm bothered that the aíthousa seems so tangible, but wasn't a password 😅
i dont know why, but this statue bugs me
Good morning !
It's because the towel is painted over, and that it's not there irl
Just catching up.. I see the crazy wall has grown
But the Monaco map in game was full of statues, so I guess it might just be an artistic choice
also tf is this green dot on the tree
Potentially a reference to the minecraft song that was done in this chat haha
It’s also mirrored facing the wrong way than the version IRL
I saw towel mentioned before, what is that exactly?
Maybe try Aethousa which is an alternative spelling
This image worked, at least.
@timid solstice The towel is what Aphrodite is holding, so nothing major 🤷
Oh I understand now. And in the concept the towel is invisible right?
Yes, or painted over at least
what is this
We are working on Level 2 of The Finals Easter Egg. This shows our exploration to solve the first Tier, 1A
Think of it as a pinboard where we collect all known information, and our guesses to solving it. Ranging from plausible to wild goosehunts 😄
Just want to share that sizing up the 1920 images, or sizing down the 2880 image and then using difference mode gets a completely different result.
My theory is that we got the 2880p image because we are not seeing something within the image itself, so they gave a higher resolution one so we could spot it more easily
Could be
what do you mean by sizing up the 1920 images? what res are you scaling the flaming dude concept up to?
The image we got yesterday was 2880x1620 so I've tried to enlargen the previous images as well as compressing the bigger one. (This will obviously cause them to be different on pixel levels. But it was something that was discussed yesterday (using difference on the old + new image) but the discussion just dropped off)
wait we got a higher res version of the fire concept art one?? did i miss something?
we got a high res of both the fire and take cover images
also, check out our padlet board: https://padlet.com/duhmeistertv/jn8pzep2feryjhm6
where did we get them from?
@mortal ivy yeah so i had a look, the griffin is still there, just hidden by all the noise. i reckon they just wanted to share the high res concept art 🤷♂️
So you´re saying is you guys are still not able to pinpoint the next Playtest to the 27th of October and the Release date to the 23rd of March next year?
okaay
well dont mind me then
Have a nice day ^^
No progress ;-;
;-;
I'm wondering whether the two images are both towards the 1a password, or if they are separate things
it's like a maze haha
Here’s an idea for a path of enquiry. The first image was an image of fire. The second one refers indirectly to Poseidon (Aethousa was his daughter in Greek mythology) and we have the symbol for his trident. Poseidon is the god of not only the sea, but water in general. Maybe we’re looking at something relating to the four elements (fire, water, earth and wind)?
We'd need at least one other to confirm
True
I think the answer is much closer to "rising from the ashes" than we think
On 27 July 1944, a bomb fragment from an Allied raid started a fire in the Camposanto, which burned for three days, causing the timber lead roof to collapse. The destruction of the roof severely damaged everything inside the cemetery, destroying most of the sculptures and sarcophagi and compromising all the frescoes. An initial effort to rescue the frescoes was organized by Deane Keller of the U.S. Army's Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives program.[2] Pieces of the frescoes were salvaged and a temporary roof was erected to prevent further damage.[2]
Can you post the link, please?
The Campo Santo, also known as Camposanto Monumentale ("monumental cemetery") or Camposanto Vecchio ("old cemetery"), is a historical edifice at the northern edge of the Cathedral Square in Pisa, Italy.
"Campo Santo" can be literally translated as "holy field", because it is said to have been built around a shipload of sacred soil from Golgotha,...
it's the other building in the Pisa square
apart from the Cathedral or tower
I found a connection between the two clues I think
Looks promising
Psi, the symbol, is used to represent the Book of Psalms
If we get an old Cemetery in the next playtest around Halloween ... THEY BETTER HAVE ZOMBIES IN IT !
and the cemetery^^ is home to pieces True Cross and a thorn from the Crown of Thorns
omg a zombie apocalypse as event for the maps O.O
True Cross is the one Jesus is crucified on, and Crown of Thorns was on his head
apparently pieces of both are kept in the Pisa Square
... so respawns take 3 days now?
How do the other two clues relate though?
Poseidon and Aethousa
seeing a whole lot of lights/reviving/rebuilding themes ...
well I was discarding the Poseidon one, as the Psalms one replaces it
(if my theory were to be true, which is unlikely)
Psalms one?
Aethousa is the daughter of Poseidon
GUYS ...
The super golden ratio?
"The first three terms are each one, and each term after that is calculated by adding the previous term and the term two places before that"
That we got her name and a trident in the same image seems like a strong direct clue to me.
All of the clues referring to Greek mythology
let me check
Yes, Aethousa when translated
"And the useless symbols of this mystic rite it will not be useless to exhibit for condemnation. These are dice, ball, hoop, apples, top,[1] looking-glass, tuft of wool."
Yes, the genus name for the Fool’s Parsley is named after her.
"You have, then, God's promise; you have his love: become partaker of his grace. And do not suppose the song of salvation to be new, as a vessel or a house is new."
Aethousa and Aithousa are just variations of the same thing
In Greek mythology, Aethusa (Ancient Greek: Αἵθουσα)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aethusa
In Greek mythology, Aethusa (Ancient Greek: Αἵθουσα) was a daughter of Poseidon and the Pleiad Alcyone, daughter of Atlas. She was loved by Apollo and bore to him Eleuther and Linus. Through either of the latter two, Aethusa became the grandmother of Pierus, father of Oeagrus, father of the musician Orpheus. Because of this genealogical fact, sh...
I think Aethusa is a much more promising lead than Room
Especially with the trident as well
Especially with the trident
Yes the I is different, and the first A~~ is not an alpha~~ (my bad, its capital), but it's still more plausible than "room" 🤷
i fada
All the letters are a bit hard to read, but the theta seems pretty solid
The omega is what settled the greek letters for me
still pretty much against this
The word aethusa was used as an epithet for a portico that was open to the sun, that is, Apollo.[7]
this would mean that that word is also this word
I found another possible connection here. One of the chapels was used by Galileo for study (relating this back to part 1): "The cemetery has three chapels. The oldest ones are the chapel Ammannati (1360) and takes its name from the tomb of Ligo Ammannati, a teacher in the University of Pisa; and the chapel Aulla, were there is an altar made by Giovanni della Robbia in 1518. In the Aulla chapel we can see also the original incense lamp that Galileo Galilei used for calculation of pendular movements. This lamp is the one Galileo saw inside the cathedral, now replaced by a larger more elaborate one"
Potentially. It could be both. I don’t think we should discount either. But all the clues so far relate to Greek mythology in some way.
the poison hemlock opens up a pretty interesting route though
Yes, and then Galileo’s pendulum as a possibility
I’m also curious why Dusty said have a “nice and relaxing” weekend - it seems deliberate.
Why not just one of those words
Yeah, rest has been used twice or thrice since the password site went live
interesting, I wonder what the Pisa Griffin has to do with it
rob:
haha, looks like everyone needs some rest… I will wait before I post ANYTHING more in this channel… ._.
(#easter-eggs message)
dusty:
Rest up, my friends! You'll need to save your energy for the hunt
(#easter-eggs message)
Have a nice and relaxing weekend, my friends!
(#easter-eggs message)
why are there 6 password sites?
maybe they plan to give us 6 images?
Can't do it right now, but have we considered the possibility that the three pieces of the word aren't in that specific order?
could someone check if they add up to another word?
@sharp flame it appears to be in that order on the statue, and it's also how you find the letters on the ground (left to right)
didn't notice it on the statue, sorry. Thanks for the confirmation
Any big developments in the past two days while I was away? 😮
Oa
uhhhhh.....
ikr
oa
oa... hmmm big if true
https://padlet.com/duhmeistertv/jn8pzep2feryjhm6 if you havent seen it yet
What about this interesting little piece? Aithousa was one of Poseidons daughters
Ooooo I love this
Yep, that is the latest we are going with. Especially as the image has a trident in it as well
This padlet is perfec to brainstorm
lmao, there's an asteroid named after Aethusa too
What I wouldn't give to just be able to walk around the map in game right now lol
that statue was there ingame, right?
yes, it was, okay
the engraving I can't quite make out
might be a mistake but in the art, the thing in her hand is painted out
Dundunduuuun
No hand
I can see the hand, but as it’s been said already no towel
It’s been referred to here and in the padlet as a towel
I asked what people meant by towel this morning
Perhaps there’s a Greek story of an invisibility cloak?
But yeah it’s really a dress robe of sorts
Hmm also the original was likely destroyed in a fire
“By the fifth century CE the statue was said to be in the royal collection in Constantinople, along with the cult statue of Zeus from Olympia. Unfortunately, the palace went up in flames. “
It's definitely been mentioned, but the statue looks exactly like the Aphrodite of Knidos
this one isn't real
Zues's "pet" was also said to be an eagle
And Poseidons a horse
Which both are animals of the Pisa Giffin
Eagle head, horse ears
I took an interest in the statue when the gameplay trailer came out. A few things you already pointed out (that it’s not there irl, and that it’s the statue aphrodite of knidos)
But here are some other observations:
- Aphrodite has her head turned to the hand with the towel in all real world statues, but in TF they made her look the other way.
- There was no inscription on it in game. I went and thoroughly looked during Alpha
Noticed both, I assumed that the head turn is just to differentiate it from Aphrodite.
the inscription is 100% a clue
the trident/psi, I'm 80% convinced, since it could just be something that appears in game
however the Greek connection is super strong
Aethusa, daughter of Poseidon. I remember the trident is in takecover concept art.

Don't get it wrong, my id refers to Sennheiser Orpheus HE I hahaha
For sure it can't be a coincidence anymore haha
Nearly, I'm iffy on the i
Well it's still an i
But the accent might be diff
Weird how one accent to another on one letter can change the meaning entirely
It's the only reason I'm iffy about it
the safest bet would be to consider both
Don't know if the fire images connect
well I was thinking that
True!
after all, one is Latin-centric, the other Greek
we should assume both are solvable on their own before trying to connect them
Yep
I guess there'll be a natural connection if there's one
I don't wanna force a connection
because at this rate (2 concepts for 1 part)
there'll be 24 concepts to release for just Tier 1+2
I really think that 1A and B are both solvable, if not the entire A-F
this could all just be what we get for Tier 1
It's gonna be so hard tho
Checking 1 password 5 times
Rip chrome users
W Firefox users
checking every password
Mekwjjwjw
and they've stopped giving out x's
and maybe one of the 100+ attempted passwords was correct, but just misspelled
or uncapitalized
Yeahhh
or maybe it was the answer for 1B instead of 1A
lots of ways that we can miss the mark hahaha
I assume if we say
I think the answer is "Pisa"
I'm sure it's in the pic which one goes to which tho
I doubt they would make us gurss
they'll react like that
Tru
Maybe this time around it's a different sign
To tell us were right
Who knows
I think we're still at 5% of tier 1 lmao
lmao, we'd need any sign really
I think 1A and B are both out there
Restt
GOOOOOO0O
.
we've really devolved huh
Darnouxxxxxxx
Fishhhhhyhhhhshsjaiaowpw
We're going insane
Rob, Dusty... Take note
might need to take a break for my brain
If this was a social psychology experiment testing our strength
I think 🤔
I
IMAGINE
we failed pretty fast huh
idk, sometimes I like to win :)
masochist with a goal lmao
@proud minnow can we ask if the password page is case sensitive? (I just don’t want to have a correct answer rejected)
Yess ,^^
^^ this
A part of me still feels like there are links involved
Maybe the password is some encrypted gibberish that is seen in a link
there has to be at least one website link between us and the answer
or maybe not
this is gonna take a while..
my brain needs a break
That’s interesting given the meteorite shower in the image
Ooohh
Considering loads of asteroids are named after Greek/Roman mythology, and that Meteor shower is a preestablished game mechanic, I don't think my idea holds much merit in all honesty
We need rock to connect all the dots
Meteors are rocks
MeteorhoundGrey
Bahahah
I was gonna say it

I'm going to do a final mental sprint before I'm done for the day
Technically, it should be called a meteorite shower. Meteors burn up in the atmosphere
but what about the meteor lefts?
They hit another cathedral
Time for a deep dive into Greek mythology. I may be gone for some time, by Jupiter!
the pure clues we have are:
Pisa Griffin
Aethusa or Room/Hall
Psi (optional as could be in-game)
Hope you find something that I could not 🫡
would be so hilarious to see NOTHING actually requiring greek mythology but the whole thing just a being a wordplay on something entirely different ...
this
like the trident actually just being the symbol for the super golden ratio and all u had to do was to add the numbers youve been given in that order ... just IMAGINE
well good luck ^^
TurnedHoundBlack
I will check on this for you 🙏
Thank you! 🎉
Hi.!
All passwords are lowercase… ._.
Thanks, that makes it much easier to guess ._.
Everyone remove ur shift and caps key
Who tf said it was case sensitive then????
@slender lodge im blaming u for no reason except im blaming u
im kidding
oh thank god, just saw
that's super helpful
I'm guessing this goes for links and stuff too
I wonder how many passwords we’ve attempted with uppercase
someone go through the entire list again and double check
:)
i think we haven't gone too off the rails yet, so they arent steering us back
It took days of us just blindly looking at Barrels with no comment about the beans until they started nudging us back
if we did greek stuff for the next few days, for example
Yeah, I think all the paths we have are pretty good
No it's all ur fault ..
OUR FAULT
exactly
get anything?
not yet, but eventually we will
We have gotten pretty far
i know, i know, im too smart
this, we need more people wo think like this
Promotion
🙏
this was already posted yesterday just the first part #easter-eggs message
ah wait
duh posted yesterday and you posted that first part earlier today, the other part is new
YES
a part of jesus' Crown of Thorns and the Cross are kept in the same complex as the Pisa Griffin
also Jesus <--> rebirth
NICE, NNN
maybe Christianity just had a widespread influence and managed to make its way into both clues
but STILL
it's something
the fire aspect of oriri ex cinere can be explained as it was posted with a picture of literal fire
so we could just choose to focus on the rebirth part of it
I'm still stuck on Jesus since it's an Easter egg
ohmygod i hadn't realised
wait what? .. Easter !
oh shit
I never thought I'd do an actual Jesus toast
yet here we are
damn
the Psi/Trident is the only thing putting me off, cause apart from that I'm seeing Jesus everywhere
Any connection between Jesus and trident
Easter eggs and trident
Greek orthodox Easter and trident
a Trident in Christianity is associated with Protection and Defense
i just get the feeling were digging too deep
Neptune again
also can it only be 1 word or?
Yeah I think it might be too deep
It's also not that interesting
Like geocache was something different
Egg tapping game
Idk maybe that's just me XD
I think they might want us to search less othodox
We should search for Devon crossing
Trust me
Jkjk
A team lead by Rob stole money from another teams ATM
I guess you can say.. they got... ROBBED
omg
Rob the Robber strikes again!!!
Rob the Robber robs again
no help us Hunt
Goodnight!!!!
Gnight

Goodnight darnoux
ahhh
I got you
👀
damn, we ever going to figure this out xD
thought we already answered that one
42
So the minecraft zombie.. could be referencing resurrection/rising back up ...
OwO
walking dead collab?
it has to be αίθουσα right, not αἵθουσα
Room or poison hemlovk
So Pisa Griffin + Room = chapterhouse ?
Goodnight dash!!!
goodnight all
Kissing you goodnight
oo
Lmao
heheheh
so the first real clue we found was the griffin
Yeah
would they give us clues to the other passwords before we even figured out the first one?
although that was more towards direct tricks/diversion, like troll clues that are to confuse/lead to nowhere
if we look at αίθουσα as Poseidon's daughter, we get nowhere since there isnt really any info on her imo
unless
shes related to Atlas
and another meaning of atlas is World map
which kinda correlates with gps
far stretch tho
can anyone find what letters these are? I didn't see them on the Greek alphabet list.
I've seen this word in so many places in the cathedral
ALSO
What is the acronym for your
For*
Yeah that's where I got the image from

Duck and take cover
;-;

can it be like multiple words or a singular word only
It's undercase that's al we know for sur
oh ive been doing both just in case xD
I did yes haha
But technically I'm right, passwords are still always case sensitive on default
I wasnt blaming anyone 👀
I wondered about this too. And whether her name and the trident was just pointing to Poseidon instead of her.
Hmmm
Dashyy

you think the griffin and phoenix were just there to point to greek mythology?
Kidding kidding
Just dont look up in chat
Bahhaha
Aa😳
“The word aethusa was used as an epithet for a portico that was open to the sun, that is, Apollo.” I wonder if this relates to that sunbeam in the cathedral
In the cathedral? Did it have a special name?
“Celebrations for the Pisan New Year begin 25 March in the Cathedral when around midday a ray of sun comes in through a window (the so called Golden Window) reaching a spot near the high altar.”
From another website: “a ray of sunlight penetrates the Duomo and hits a marble egg resting on a shelf placed on a column next to the pulpit by Giovanni Pisano.”
The marble egg seems too good to be true
