real. last time i played was when i've made it to live longer, 18 hours at the end.
i died after i began attacking a guy on an airfield on sakhal. he didn't see me at first, i was chilling in the forest overlooking the whole complex. after observing for some time and seeing that person fighting zombies, i started shooting from ~400m with my sniper. i couldn't see if the shots landed since the scope was throwing up crazy because of the recoil. but i had a rangefinder and had the distance measured and sniper zeroed. so after these two shots i decide to push closer, get a new position. but maybe going up the tower in the fire station was not the best idea.
so im up there in the tower, peeking through the windows, wiggling most of the time in case he sees me, but after some time looking around i think i'll be fine, so i stand still so i can better see if anything is moving, and bam got shot. didnt pass out but red health. starting to pop meds and get out there to switch positions again, so i run out there and into the forest next to it, trying yet another flank.
so there i am, chilling in the forest not paying too much attention actually, thinking they'll have no clue. standing still for a moment, not seeing anyone, and bam got shot again - dead. he must have flanked through the forest too i guess. it was so stupid of me to not just stay inside and wait for them to push which i could easily hear and prepare for, while i regen hp, whatever.
i love dayz for these moments when you really get invested with your character like when you start living longer than just a couple hours

Its first use is to see things you cant see normaly, either because its hidden from your perspetive or because it's like ennemies that can't be seen otherwise, and later you get the ability to shoot an arrow from this point of view to solve puzzles, for exemple one of them is that you're searching a way to get water flowing from a river to a fountain but its blocked and you cant go to it, but you can go underground in a cave that leads to under the river and here you can use the power, see from above the ground so at the river and shoot an arrow to break whatever is blocking the water

tried out Raw Metal demo today, it's a pretty interesting game

a bit clunky, and the risk-and-reward-extraction-esque gameplay loop is kinda unforgiving, but it's just the demo, the full game is way better I guess

it's essentially an top-down-also-3D-stealth-action-fighter, you are infiltrating an corrupt mining corporation, while utilizing the loot you find from there, taser darts, noisemakers, tear modules (teleport yourself or an enemy to a random room), you name it

all gadgets and environments are both used in top-down stealth and 3D combat, concussion nades can stun enemies chasing you in stealth, but also push them away from you in combat

Can anyone relate to this:
I always play online competitive games (the finals, rocket league etc) that i find myself getting pissed at when i lose.
But the ones I enjoy the most are singleplayer games but i never really 'boot' them up to play.
But I then carry on booting up games like the finals where I always eventually feel miserable playing cos of things like a losing streak

lt me tell you this - i tested dlss 4 in Hogwards Legacy and in Star Citizen - the difference is visible IMMIDIATELY as you boot it up

image is way sharper, ghosting is simply just gone

I really cannot wait for DLSS 4 to be implemented to rest of the games, because there are a lot of games with just simply dogshit DLSS implementation that could benefit from the new version

take hogwards for example - on native it is ruined by either lack of any anti aliasing making the game look choppy asf or really smooth due to shitty TAA but with DLSS it looks sharp and doesnt have any jagged edges

tbh in games like The Finals or any other where movement is key for both you and the enemy - using TAA is a handicap
You will see a one big smear on your screen instead of the enemy
I use DLSS in both Fortnite and The Finals for this very reason, it may be not native res but I do not have any smearing or ghosting (or very minimal and definitely way less than with TAA)

If I have to pick between TAA or DLSS i'll always choose DLSS for visual clarity, which is fucking ironic but it's the hard truth - TAA is fucking shit unless you're standing completely still

or DLAA even, DLAA is even better than DLSS because it's basically AI trained Anti Aliasing that uses native res
