Ya know not totally wrong but i've had to deal with similar stuff back in the teamspeak days. I just really miss the fun lobbies where everyone chilled in coms and you could all have a laugh. I played Destiny 1 for a really long time but when i moved to PC for destiny 2 it wasn't the same. I had more trouble having fun solo queuing or lfging. Days of the ***tty xbox parties and skype calls are over

Teamspeak erra wasn’t near as bad and didn’t proliferate and become quite so mainstream. Every gamer for the most part uses or has used discord. I miss people being able to shit talk eachother and just have fun and realize no one was serious and if they were who cares its sone random on the internet. Now everyone would rather not talk or use discord.

Which is weird to me that people want to play multiplayer but not talk to or interact with them like they are another person. Lots of games feel dead without human interaction. You are so right with destiny 2 too

Yeah... we at least got pinging to fill the void but like actual coms like how it was would make tons of the more recent fps feel better to play. I seem to be really unlucky when i queue up alone now too and get randoms that no matter what will only go off on their own and die within the first minute. I had quit overwatch for that reason back in like season 15 because the coms became a wasteland or it was just GET GOOD GET GOOD or someone trying to scream at the end of the match but not use their mic till the very end

And i was a tank/healer main so no coms meant death. It always means it.

I was starting to have that issue in the finals beta too. Teammates actually jumping off the building right at the start and basically the whole match or being in completely different fights.
I played OW2 once just to see how they shot that in the foot.
I was a Rein, Lucio, Moira, Mercy, Roadhog, Dabbling in zen main. I reached masters once (never found a team and stopped grinding hard eventually) and maintained diamond most of the years i played

I really wish i did more scrims. I got to be a fill in for a lower league in a few practices and it was amazing having a team working like a unit

Roles were actually a thing meaning a tank was a real tank for your healers or they would wipe and a off tank would not be the only one playing. A really good roadhog was something to fear.

All i get from the new "version" is TDM because everyone is now a dps. Those new healers are nuts
