multimillion company, cant fix one major bug

even better, sometimes you wont even go past loading screen when booting up the game because connecting to online services wont appear

my only issue with 2042 is traversal sprint it’s ass

after spending 10h in 2042 all i can say that game is an okay time-killer, your teammates are always smoothbrained at best and single celled organisms at worst, rocket launcher hitreg is ass (direct hit, explosion, hitmarker and still a miss), few really annoying bugs, optimization is questionable and gunplay feels so casual and easy to learn that even my 68yo granpa could do a quad kill

just watched a youtube shorts today explaining why 2042 gunplay is bad, the dude literally demonstrated the lack of required mechanics and laserbeaming style by easily shooting down targets 200 meters away with an AR

gunplay may be lacking in 2042, but lets be honest here, older bf games used RNG to "fake realism" and balance out rifles on distance, 2042 has a big issue because maps lack any basic cover in a lot of places, meaning lack of bullet deviation or falloff damage it kinda needed not to turn the game into bullet-wasting festival where luck will decide who wins the engagement

at least, this is how i look at it

bipods and snipers would be overpowered if 2042 had bullet deviation and falloff damage

i'd say its worth it only if you have extra money to spend, are desperate for new fps to play and have a patience of a monk because i can assure you - until black screen bug will be fixed, you will be restarting your game every 30min to 1h
