I wont go into encoding too much cause that's a wormhole but the goal is to have something as close to the original quality as what was recorded. mp3 has it's own limitations & is pretty oudated. You can still have mp3 with great spectrals but FLAC encoding is generally far superior for quality & filesize.

The biggest thing you'll notice is things just seem louder & clearer. So psychoacoustically it literally just sounds better even if only because it's a little bit louder. It also really depends on what genre you're listening to

If you get into it you might consider any kind of DAC/amp to accompany your headphones or speakers one day. Doesn't really matter how much the DAC costs. Sry this got longer than I meant.

I'll put it this way, my cousin COMPLETELY changed his career path with Claude over the last 6 months. Quit his audit job, and is now a Python/SQL engineer/developer, having just been hired about 2 weeks ago. He was self-taught and created tons of projects with the help of Claude. It's truly an incredible tool. I actually built a social media site that I have to finish, but I promise you that if I follow through, it'll be so much better than Facebook or Twitter. I'm actually surprised it was able to give me all the functionality I asked for.

funny tidbit, one of the reasons they made that clip was to demonstrate subdivision surfaces, it was all the rage for a while, before that it was NURBS, these days nobody really uses either anymore xD

and during that time i was working with some others to create hardware that could render subdivision surfaces directly, that was quite fiddly
