the speed dynamic from beta to now has been counter acted upon by various different movement patches. Meaning what made medium good back then was different in the sense where movement speed was different and through the updates they have balanced it where your movement speed was worse but your abilities allowed you some sense of still playing faster. My gripe has been with the abilities being nerfed, not the movement, which now coincidentally coincides with the previous slower movement speed resulting in an overall slower rate of play.
