I'd wager they will have a hard time calculating an MMR in the first place... A Bias towards objective points would discourage players from using weapons to their fullest and risking team wipes to control the flow of cash, a bias for kills would encourage more aggressive gameplay and probably be far more enjoyable to watch but the sheer amount of people that would rather take a vault to the empty side of the map is mind numbingly high, not to mention the respawn issue in the final match of the tournament (wipe them too early and they have spawn advantage over the next vault, wipe them late and they spawn 50 miles away with only one or two chances to push you ever again)

So here's a bit more context: Seoul (that city skyrise map) construction zone in the center, can't break the floor beneath, hardly any throwable spawns up there too, and it's far too time consuming to jump down in search of one or two.
Also... Don't forget, as far as I know nothing can one shot a turret, so if they can just pick the turret up and drop it back down efficiently as they did it becomes impossible
