Really? I have had the complete opposite experience. One of the few weapons i can consistently use hipfire with. One of my earlier clips for some context (I forgot to equip a sight that round lol)

You definitely want to do hipfire at close range from my experience. Though it is more of a preference thing considering the ADS might not be too useful at close range. Of course more accuracy is always beneficial (though so is not getting hit without the slowdown from ADS)
