They have not made any major changes to the core gameplay style so, I would say yes. It is still good. There have been of course trickles and droughts for new content throughout the seasons.

To be fair part of my boredom with the finals is due to my lack of ranked play which always keeps me enticed in any game. I play if there’s a ranked playlist that’s always my go to and I’ve been depriving myself of that trying to wait for friends or newcomers who I introduced the game to get decent to run with me trying to recruit people to play. The finals starts to get exhausting when eventually the result is the same but most times and the end up quitting are going back to their comfort zone and I guess I became too reliant on others pleasure to just let myself solo queue like I used to.

Agreed. I was surprised by the mindset my newbie buddy had. They seemed to take it quite harshly for every loss and every mistake and/or death they had. Frustrating to watch but I try to be helpful since, I know their is fun to be had in this game at all skill levels (idk about the very top tho)

Ive learned to dissociate in The Finals when it comes to the team play lottery. You simply make the best of what you got. Its hard to enjoy the game when you’ve got to focus on how good or bad your teammates are and thats led to me getting away with some crazy wins with what I would consider ragtag crew of random low levels

Ah. It would be nice to have more set poses for each emote or just let us choose the frame and angle (though that might be too much). There are some other surprising poses like the "Ugh really" expression that goes reaaally well with the fire background. Makes you look like a maniac despite it expressing the opposite.

I'm ngl, I had an old friend recommend it to me when it first launched and I hated the way it looked and how long the ttk is but since starting, it's easily one of the most fun pvp shooters I've played. There's a little something for everyone so you don't need to have laser beam aim to contribute. As a casual fps enjoyer, that has been the major selling point for me

That was also my experience for my first half a dozen or so games. I partied up with someone who has a lot of hours into the game so the lobbies were demonic. Solo q lobbies have been much more doable for me but the tradeoff is much worse teammates and zero communication

I probably have encountered cheaters. One such encounter was when I queued into the same team as the sniper light from the sniper light enemy from the very previous game. They made some excuses when I tried pointing out some sus stuff like shooting invisible lights from a while away. That was a long time ago now though. Could it have been a really good player? Idk, ruined the experience for me at that time though cause I was stuck questioning that player.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't happen so often. I've never smurfed and don't want to, but Embark is practically forcing me to, because there's no denying that there's a system that matches bad players with good ones.

I once happened to have someone else on my team who told me exactly the same thing. We formed a team and got someone else who at least knew how to play, and we won a ton of matches.

Color palettes works. At least from my experience in Warframe. There was also some strange mechanic from Mecha Break (?). I dont remember how exactly it worked but there is certainly many ways to add recolours into the game better than the current system

• mines are proximity they just blow up without u touching them if u jump over they still blow up

glitch nade affects everything in an area including your own teammates. any deployable hit by it including mines and turrets will be temporarily shutdown but you can still shoot it to detonate it manually or deal damage respectively
