Finals used to clear everything else. You cannot deny it is gone to shit recently. It has been stale for more than 4 months now. Ranked is still not fixed after 9 seasons. Servers are still crap as ever. The devs are still not transparent with the community. Just recently they sorta fixed the cheating issue in asia. We rarely ever get balance changes. Dash still hasn't been nerfed or reworked after 9 seasons. I can keep going. It used to be good. It is not now

Sorry for the wall of text but here you go. So here's the solution to your "unwinnable" problems:

1. The game is very very stale right now. It doesn't have to be 3 specs and 3 weapons and a new map every single season but atleast something other than 2 new gadgets.
2. Ranked system can be improved vastly. Platinum players should not be matched against rubies that is just unfair.
3. People have been complaining about the servers being bad since launch. There always is a red server or packet loss icon and hitreg issues. Also people have speculated that finals servers run on a very low tickrate. Increasing the tickrate costs money for embark so they don't care.
4. I hate it break it to you but oscar playing videogames on YouTube is not being transparent. There has been no transparency on what gamemodes have sbmm or how ranked matchmaking works or if they are working on a particular issue or not (say smurfing for instance. There is no official statement from embark acknowledging this issue and whether they are trying to fix it or not despite numerous people complaining).
5. Oh god the dash rework. So many things need rework. The spear, mgl, dash, thermal vision, winch... Again no transparency from embark if these will ever be looked upon. Someone from embark said they are working on mgl in like season 2/3 still no fix.

Shield bash.

15-20 dmg
(Block + attack)

Shield charge.
Cool down (30 sec)

Similar to heavy "Charge N' Slam" but can only do charge.

Can break smaller parts of walls.

Hitting someone with the charge causes 20-25 DMG
(Block + sprint)

Also can we just increase the damage done for arenas with this weapon pleaaase!

I don't need to be ruby to know how video games work. Gatekeeping isn't a strong arguement. Especially when you're getting frustrated by a C tier weapon.

Splash damage isn't going to change CL having high ttk, clunky reload, a slow projectile that can be dodged with a slide at medium range, and self damage higher than opp damage.

It's one of the few weapons you can hard counter with behavior.

With a gun that had a very HIGH skill ceiling you do need to be a high rank to see its advantages. I’m not being frustrated by the weapon, just an annoyance playing it when we come across it. All i’m saying is the weapon is a C tier if you’re a bot, and an S tier if you’re in ruby. Same way the mini gun is absolutely horrible in low rank and absolutely dominates in ruby. (Aka why rank does matter when talking about skills of a weapon)
