aim is always important but the aim skill gap in plat+ isn’t massive, it’s much more important to know propper macro + positioning

What I've noticed is teams win more fights if they can get 2 people to fight one person

Ive started to just take the flank so when they do get into a fight i can help at an angle. Maybe my play style is sub optimal tho

yes, but it’s hard to catch people out unless they’re a light. I only find picks against lights that scout but i find it hard to pick out meds or heavies if they’re grouped

flanking isnt suboptimal, but it does require the rest of the team to realise it and play to survive more so you can get it off, otherwise they die and your left in a 1vx

yeah flanking only works if your team distracts, bad pinches on light just mean you die with no benefit

like if you die on a pinch you lose the whole fight

That’s why you play Support light with V9S, Sonar, Frag, and H+ with Grapple.

Get Intel, keep people away from spots you don’t want them in, and heal.

Whats the best build to play for Solo Q? heavy seems to rely a lot on gadget cool downs, medium seems to struggle with the lack of in-fight gadgets, and then light seems to be the most autonomous. That ability to be self reliant in a doo doo team is what makes me lean to just sticking with light when i start my solo q journey

Same with everything else. Riot shield blocking melee is EXTREMELY inconsistent and almost non existent. I've been playing it since season 1 and have only blocked a sledge hammer once

Because for dual blades you have to hold the block button and it's way more protective, but you still take partial damage.

Riot shield you actually have to properly face the shield towards the bullets. But you take no damage if it hits the shield
