Not enough players, so not enough viewers.

Hard for them to make a leap into a game their audience doesn't follow, because they're not going to gain a whole lot of new viewers either to make it as worthwhile. Content creation is about filling a niche, branching outside of that single game-niche can be hard, so unless it's a growing commmunity where they see space for growth, it doesn't make sense.

On top of that, the finals community isn't kind to content creators.

It was the community that pushed Ottr out of it, which was our biggest youtuber at the time.

And one of the larger twitch streamers Balise is constantly harassed on too. A creator who has been here from the start, stayed loyal, consistently creating content, and got to the point that an org recognized him and offered him a contract. Once the community heard, they sent threats and forced the org to drop him the next day.

It was unique to The Finals. Yes, it was familiar to other similar games, but that's what was good. It was just familiar enough to get people to play, while being unique enough to get them into the game and learn what The Finals is about.

Terminal Attack, out of any of the modes, is the most competitive by nature. The audience that would come over from other games to try it, are used to its competitive nature.

So to have it not be in a ranked system, would undermine the level in which people would play it. And players would complain people are "too sweaty in a 'casual' mode".

Ideally it would have ranked alongside cashout, and like I said above, award tokens just like cashout as a way for players to earn more tokens. With a unique sapphire tier, to match cashout's ruby for separation of the top.

• People who played it and enjoyed it.
• People who did play it and it wasn't for them.
• People who hated how buggy kyoto was, hated how overpowered winch claw was, and hated the introduction of world tour and how grindy it was designed all for Season 3 that they hated season 3 as a whole and Terminal Attack got the blame instead of what was actually the root causes.

(Most people are that 3rd option)

Terminal Attack wasn't perfect, but neither was season 3 cashout.

The modes adapt and evolve and get better per season, and if terminal attack had stayed, and got feedback and updates the same way cashout has the past 9 seasons, Terminal Attack would be in a really good place right now, and be a good pedestal for bringing in players from other games where that mode feels familiar.

If you seige a room or entrance even when pushing setting up on hallway, now that entire section is just off-limits for the enemy team. While you deflect their gunshots and APS takes care of glitch grenades and other things.

APS counters grenades and explosives, Glitch stops light from dashing in, or stops heavies from using skills into the room, dual blade stops people from shooting at the turrets.

Only actual counter is if it's set up on a higher floor, and enemy drop down the box. but usually you drop the box to lowest floor anyway, or set up jumppad on floor below
