I think the reason they couldn't add more (for now) is because the map is layered into combat zones (areas that kill you if you wander off)... which are different for attackers and defenders.
so they are harder to configure than TDM areas which are individual, hard-blocked areas not connected to each other.

Lewis - The Assault Equivalent of the Akimbo; It feels very comfortable in ADS long-range, but struggles in CQC hipfire.
M60 - The Anti-Lewis; Good in CQC hipfire, bad at ADS.
KS - Decent close ranged shotgun even in ADS.
SA - They say it's good? How is this good? It barely does anything against a non-blocking Dual Blader in close range. Pfft.
