Before Embark fucked it all up with the latest update, my friend with a mid tier 2022 PC was only getting like 15 more fps than me. Absolutely diabolic.

But yeah, my experience with Windows as a whole is very shit. A complete waste of time. You end up serving the machine, instead of it being the other way around. Unless you're a power user or a nerd who knows their way around Windows, you'll end up wasting HOURS (most likely weeks and months) trying to resolve a neverending list of errors and problems

i don't hate DLSS or FSR or even XESS (the intel one) as an addition but a requirement is getting pretty annoying.
Upscaling tech is cool and it looks good, especially considering how good it's Anti aliasing is within it, but it's getting insane with devs putting off optimization and letting those upscalers do most of the brute force. especially considering graphics pretty much peaked like 5-6 years ago with small improvements here and there.

I can't open the menu option while i'm in practice range, world tour and ranked. I been facing this issue since the last 6-7 months i believe. I tried to validate the files in steam, several times restarted i even reinstalled the game and went to practice range to check if the menu pops up or not( when we click Esc , the menu pops up that's what i'm talking about). Nope it's not. It's so frustrating mate. I want this to be fixed that's all. I even created a ticket in the official embark support website and i have sent a feedback. I just don't think it fits the heavy very well, it's too good at too many ranges and way too good in the ranges where basically all other heavy weapons are a joke.

I kinda view the heavy as a mid-close range class but the bfr gives it access to too much safe damage at long range. It should be balanced differently either make it a projectile at certain ranges or give it a way sharper damage falloff or both

The way I'd rebalance it is to make it have a much stronger headshot multiplier, weaker body shot damage, steeper damage fall off.

That way it's effectively for a heavy who wants to have a gun with on paper the shortest TTK in a close range fight but punishing if they can't reliably hit heads.
