orogenesis is the transition, yes. Though some folks talk about the rotating bit as orogenesis as well, which is what I assume is being mentioned here. I haven't heard of Idyll strat nor do I really see macros for stuff (though I know JP makes good use of them)

I've finished MSQ 2 weeks ago, I've killed Titania Ex twice (I don't have the weapon yet), I'll probably farm Eden normal this week to gear completely at i450, do you think I'll be able to try Hades Ex with that ? Or will people ask for Eden savage exp or i460+ ?

450 is minimal ilvl so it can be pretty scary

a weapon below 450 wouldn't be acceptable imo since it's the most significant piece of gear

#

crafted gear can be upgraded to 460 now, plus 460 drops from nier, as well as upgrades for deepshadow gear so getting above 450 should be easy now, and the higher ilvl the better generally speaking

#

seems like most hades parties on chaos require 455 if you're lucky but 460 most of the time

x.1 patch extreme trials are always the most difficult of the expansion, at least when they're relevant and not outgeared, i'd say it's e2s maybe even e3s difficulty so maybe dabble a bit with eden savage practice parties first

RaidDPS (rDPS) is: Your TotalDPS minus the damage from buffs you received plus the damage from buffs you contributed
Personal DPS (pDPS) is: Your TotalDPS without being adjusted for buffs.
aDPS is: Your TotalDPS minus single target buffs applied to you (devilment, dragon sight, astro cards, etc)

I haven't done the fight yet but just will mention, "true north" by definition uses the actual direction north as north, always. So in reference to the arena. If positioning is relative to where the boss is facing it is instead "relative north", or "relative to the boss"

relative north is almost always better but people are real bad at relative north for some reason sometimes

so that's why PF has a tendency to force true north even though it's often dumb to do so

once per week for current tier. So for Eden savage, one per floor per week

and you have to go in order (E1S -> E2S -> E3S -> E4S), if you skip one of the fights and even enter a later one past your progress you lose all chance at loot from earlier floors for the week, including the page

it depends on the job. Some jobs have sims over on the balance discord server that you can put in your stats and it'll give you an estimated dps based off of that

SMN does not do more damage than BLM on any fight but E1S. The margin is much closer in general, though
