Hey guys. Ive made a macro for monk. Demolish, Viper, Dragon kick for example. Sometimes it uses Dragon kick a second time, when i spam buttons. Is it ping related or a problem with their engine?

Nope, macros aren’t meant for attacks.

They have timing issues and don’t always trigger.

Very few macros in this game don't suck. Things like healers making a "Rezzing <target>" macro are fine, or things that put a ground target skill under your target or under you instead of having to use the ground targeting, but besides that... Blah.

Ive problems finding the perfect rotation for reapplying debuff/buff/dot with monk. Any monk experienced player can help me?
If i use Dragon -> Viper -> Demo and then Boot -> True -> Snap twice my snap ist the last skill that profits from the debuff and buff
Applying Demo every third cicle seems to work well. I always have only 1 (max 2) seconds left when i reapply it.
When i try to reapply Dragon/Viper every second cycle they still have 3-4 seconds before they run out

You usually double weave in the beginning

but once your speed ramps up

its single weaving

If you notice you're clipping might as well do a single weave

and use the other on the next GCD

Use the Main damage buffs first because those are 100% for sure then pop up your crit buffs since you'll always do more damage but you won't always crit.

Pots and shoulder tackle tend to be single weaves since animation locks you in

but tbh you have enough time in mnks buff to do all your ogcd's

it's made to feel like it's a monster hunter fight, random targetting, no healing

actual endgame content has designated tanks and healers, every fight follows a strict script, you can know when to dodge what and what mechanic will happen on you

Depends on the class in many cases.

MNK and BRD have higher stat weights on crit so upgrading to non crit is bad.

Other classes can just get the main stat boost and be fine.

this is napkin math but: if the fight is over 9 minutes you can use 3 potions, meaning you get let's say (approx.) +10% damage for 1.5 minute out of a 10 minute fight, so you'd get 1.1x dps * 1.5min + 1x dps * 8.5 min = 10.15x dps / 10 min = 1.015x dps in total, so 1.5% dps boost overall? obviously there's a billion more things to account for like syncing pots with raid buffs, snapshotting dots, fight duration, dps downtime but you'd have to ask the math wizards on the balance for that, also i'm really bad at math so even my napkin math might be completely wrong
