if u mean ur struggling even w/ movement, try to start closer to center
what i do is i go to the arrow side then trace it as i go towards center eg if its ne safe first i go to east arrow, then a lil north and try to use the arrow as visual guide as i go to center
i rely on audio q instead of visual for movement
audio response time is like 100ms faster than visual

in prog you kind of figure it out
if you messed up the timing and don't have anything for the next tank thing and die, you just adjust it after it's fine
most people don't plan it out in a spreadsheet
especially in savage just try to spread out your party mits/reps with other tank and it's probably fine except for certain raidwides, and last floor hits harder
but first floor savage especially, you don't need to mit perfectly
you'll get better at it over time and your healers will need to babysit less

the general rule is there are two types of busters
ones you alternate between combos of guardian and sheltron on, and the next do rampart bulwark and sheltron on
ones you are popping everything or invulning
and thats a good default to adjust from if it doesnt work on the buster

there are also some tank things that can be taken with 20%+short mit
not a big deal since savage isn't always super tight on mits, but it can be helpful to know "what's the minimum amount of stuff i should have to survive"
and then add other stuff if you don't need it for anything else
it's also helpful to remember that 40% lasts 15s, rampart lasts 20s, rep last 15s. so as you learn the timeline of a fight you can pop some things before the cast bar shows up. helps with weaving and having it back earlier later
