Hello. I have started to wonder this more and more the last few days and though I'd ask here.
Do DoTs affect bosses when they're invulnerable/in a phase transition? My understanding is that DoTs don't do damage when boss is invulnerable, untargetable or phase transitioning. I would like to ask more experienced players whether that's true, however, as I want to improve my SAM gameplay.
For example, take EX4. With Sam, my DoT wears off around 20-30 seconds before she goes untargetable for adds phase. For Sam's DoT to be "worth it", I need it to tick for at least 45 seconds or so. I have refrained from reapplying the DoT before adds phase due to that and my understanding that DoTs don't do damage when they're invulnerable/untargetable.
