I don't typically have any major issues with camera stuff in volcanic heart, but I keep my camera at max zoom + about 50-60 degree angle over my character's head.
That puts it high enough that except for very extreme cases where I get backed into a corner, it doesn't encounter the walls at all.

You can as DPS, yes. You do need to run ahead to aggro and then drag enemies back to him, and things get kitschy if there are corners he has to go around because of LOSing the healer, but it's definitely possible.

But in general the msq is always enough to level you unless you switch jobs a lot

It's been reworked a few times, end goal was to make it get you from 1-50 overall, so depending on when you start a new job it can get fucky

though this is under the assumption you have gil to throw at buying mats too
otherwise if you do the cheap method via gathering yourself it will take a good bit longer
though you could chalk that up to levelling a gatherer instead as well

I’d say ocean fishing is a good deal faster for scrips than grinding out fishing collectables, which is why I mentioned it. That said though MIN/BTN collectables usually have at least one node ready for collecting at most times of the day.

Congested/Standard/Preferred will constantly change with the patch cycles.
New servers are slowly being introduced worldwide as all DCs are currently being expanded, with Europe's coming next.
