Do keep in mind that for some of them (mainly Primal weapons), "shared model" can mean the same 3D model but with some different special effects, which you can't reliably tell on that site

Yeah, especially 2.1-2.3 feel very slow if you're doing it all in one go. It's a lot of quests with only a few trials to break up the pace. From 2.4 forward it's still slow but at least you can see what everything's building up towards.

And press the recommended gear button before updating the gearset
Then on the delivery panel, click the drop down menu and choose hide gearset item

So, "Melding" refers to adding materia to your gear to give it extra stats.
To reach 2800 gathering, you need at least a partially melded Pactmaker's main hand and off hand tool as well as fully melded AR-Caean/Ophiotaurus Gear and accessories.
This means you need five materia in each slot.

Oh I see what’s happening. Specialists refers to a minor upgrade that you can give to crafters. What you would call a spec in another game kind of doesn’t exist here. Classes “promote” to jobs but there isn’t a specialization for combat jobs.

Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

Frontlines is pure and utter chaos with some game mode rules providing a mild bit of direction; and while Crystalline Conflict is more amenable to strategising through, at this point since its release, all the players who wanted to take it seriously and apply skill are either stratified far above your starting rank or are just done with their CC gaming at all, so you're going to be stuck with either bad players or casual/chaotic players in lower strata.
Party chat is not available in CC due to the strong tilt and salt potential people bring with them into it.

Third, I'd comment that the responses you got to "hit a dummy" were better than you might have initially given them credit for. Dummy-slapping won't simply help you learn what your kit does, it'll also give you some insight into how you want to play your role.
Especially in CC: it's easy to fall into the trap of "we have to have someone on the crystal to win" but that doesn't mean that person should necessarily be you at any given time.

Yes, you have a maximum of two weeks, depending on when you pick up the book, to complete it and turn it in. If you pick a new one up on Monday, for example, the book's start period is the preceding Tuesday, so you have one week and one day to finish it.
