The caveat Rooster is referring to is the resources section. Berserk makes you Hit Very Hard. When it becomes Inner Release at level 70 it grants three stacks of free Fell Cleave/Decimate usage.

Berserk gives you glowing red eyes as a visual effect. The change in abilities in the level 70 version has no impact on the visual effect.

I'll keep this brief, I played ff14 since AAR got released (even before that point i was in the beta's for AAR) I think i have spent more time on ff14 than i have any other game in my life, but after Heavensward came out i got left behind, and struggled to keep up ever since, I play (and have) a billion and one other games i play, and a family, full time job ect.
Should i just give up and never come back to ff14 granted I just got to the otherworld in the shadowbringers expansion and really...it just kinda feels like the whole game left me behind and it just doesn't make sense to keep going but how can that be when it's the #1 mmo in the world? i realize there's no easy answer but i figured i'd come here and see how the vet's and others feel

If the start of SHB feels a little disconnected from the story before - that's only natural. But everything will start to connect eventually so if you're into the story, I daresay you're in for quite a few treats yet.

if you really lack of time but still want to do endgame, just buy a story skip then smashing the skip dialogue, you can replay the story later (all of it), however, you still need to spend sometimes learning to play a job properly as it's mandatory

That's the life of MMOs - nothing you build up will last forever except for the experiences you had. ARR as it was won't come back. EW will be similar but different. Will you like it? You can only find out by doing it. If getting there feels like a lot of time wasted, then perhaps you'll enjoy building up new experiences elsewhere more.

The 26th is accurate.
The lack of personal housing availability in Ishgard is entirely due to the whole playerbase wanting houses in the new locations last lottery period, so that shouldn't be surprising. All housing wards are on the same lottery cycle, so when the 26th comes, all of them will open for bidding.

also a note on arcanist, not only do they begin in the same starting city as ninja, but they're the only class in the game that becomes 2 separate jobs

As someone finishing stormblood and entering shadowbringer, what are the queue times for MSQ duties and trials like in OCE server? I'm considering the move to OCE because I have a friend there + road to 80 buff but I'm not sure how bad the MSQ duty queue times will be
Also only really play DPS, which probably means longer queuetimes in general

Do note that you can take a party of NPCs with you into story dungeons from here on. You don’t have to worry too much about queue times as a DPS. Trade off is the runs will take longer.

That's how you generate it, yes. To use it, however, just do normal gameplay activities.

but whenever you do activities that give exp, you get more exp while you have rested accumulated
so if you get 10 exp normally from killing something, with rested exp you would get an 50% bonus to that 10

Compared to most games, the rested xp recharges alot faster. Unless i'm playing and getting xp all day (like on my weekends), i have more than enough rested xp for my daily activities and it recharges to full the next day

- Utility buffs (assuming someone remembers to activate them) (e.g. Bonus combat xp, cheaper aetheryte costs, longer food buffs, etc)
- Housing benefits (assuming u have a FC house) (e.g. Gardening, Stable)
- FC ventures (airships and submarines for FC exclusive material like Dusk leather which is worth 1m ea)

so i have a really annoying problem with my ffXIV. my camera is stuck looking down from above every time there's a little zone loading screen or even porting with the aethernet etc. it's so annoying especially when progging in raids and after every death the camera is back in that weird angle again. So i read online that it might have been me plugging in a controller and plugging it out in that position, i tried to reverse that but it doesn't help. Now i reinstalled ffXIV altogether, it didn't help ... it drives me crazy 😦 any idea why?

have you done the arcanist quests? should be a command like /egiglamour or something when u do the last arcanist quest from the guildmaster
