Having just opened the launcher again in steam, the launcher is prompting me to relink my sqex account to steam - is it possible, instead, to purchase the game again from the sqex website (the NON-steam version), not link my account with steam, and play it separately forevermore?

the problem is, fantasia is the least of my worries. My other worries is that I had a stagnant period between finishing the arr msq and doing the post-arr msq. I wasted time with the over-farming with praetorium, etc., also I am starting to not like my character's name. I just want to not feel guilty if I ever delete him.

Well, the phrasing is "is it okay for me to do this", and .... that's a value judgment that's entirely up to you. There's nothing stopping you from doing so, and since you're acutely aware of the progress loss and don't value it as a detractor, and since there's no law about keeping your first character lol, yes, it's "ok" to do.

As far as character creator stuff goes, no. You can make reasonable guesstimates based on the fact that there are a limited number of appearance options.
As far as glamour ... if the outfit they last logged out on is the outfit you want, then yes you can see both their gear and the glamour they put on it.
If they logged out on a different class, or on something using a different glamour, then you're sol.

Heys guys, quick question if anyone could help me. I play from South America in the Crystal NA server with around 200~230ms of latency. I was thinking about transferring to the new oceanic servers so I can enjoy the sweet XP boost. There my latency gets between 300~330ms. Would this make much difference from my current latency? Okay so you do want lvl 90 gathering gear pentamelded in order to get those materia
So far what I've gathered is that you stack the 3 spirit bond buffs with the potion, the food, and the scroll, then you have your pentamelded set of gear at lvl 90 and you go to town spamming legendary nodes.
that's the fastest you can increase spirit bond to extract the most materia in the least amount of time

I'm on the steam version and after the latest patch the launcher is saying i have to reinstall the entire 76GB game again. But the 63.4GB of game files still exist in my steam folder so is there a way I can solve this without having to reinstall the whole game again?

Hey, returning player here and im tryna find a job to stick to. Are there any jobs that build up a gauge to then unleash a strong finisher. sorta like charge blade in Monster Hunter if you get what I mean

Yeah it seems like that, reaper seemed interesting to me. I just like the gameplay of having a gauge to then unleash a big flashy attack that does heaps of damage
