Check the volume settings. Bard music is the performance volume setting. Other sounds from other players can be volume changed with /soundeffectsother [0-100] and /soundeffectsparty [0-100] if you want to change party sounds too.

I've got a rank 3 squadron, 400/400 (120/80/200)- and have all 8 recruits in level ranges from 49 to 54. ffxivsquadron calculator seems to say it can't find an option with six tries for any of level 50 the priority missions, and level 40 missions always some deficit.
Do you just have to overlevel the heck out of this, or am I missing something.
