Are there any differences between mounts?
Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.
Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

I know I'm OP for it, but I'm still having trouble with moving around in combat. And dealing with multiple opponents at once.

You can also set whether or not you see their HP bars.

Once a squad member reaches level 51, you can glamour them as you like. Do note that they can not wear glamour of a higher level than themselves. Just like you.
But it is also just glamour. You can't affect their stats outside of that tactics menu thing.
