The roulette itself still gives some exp. But its not really worth the time. That being said, its a good roulette to run as tanks for achievements

also has crafting/gathering xp manuals, the ones that disappear after x amount of xp
and I guess if you're spamming a bunch of squadron buffs, you'd want to keep track when they wear off too
