currently playing on a laptop hooked up with a 144hz monitor. Running the game on borderless fullscreen works perfectly, but changing it to fullscreen locks it to 60hz, makes the colors all washed out, as if I was using my laptop screen stretched out over the 144hz one. Why am I Past lv50 Without the Abilities of My Job

Typically Job Quests are contained within their expansions separately. If you have not reached the next expansion in , you need to continue the main story quests until you reach the next expansion, denoted by giant letters naming said expansion.

When can I get my first mount?
The quest that allows you to use mounts, ''My Little Chocobo'', is unlocked by completing the level 20 main story quest ''The Company You Keep''. The quest is located at the Grand Company base you chose, and you'll need to buy a Chocobo Issuance from your Grand Company Quartermaster. You can get the 200 required Grand Company seals by doing the main story quest that comes immediately after ''The Company You Keep''.

Are there any differences between mounts?
Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.

Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

What do all these quest icons mean?

- These are how you reach the endgame and every other bit of content is locked behind it to some extent. MANDATORY
- These unlock a feature, instanced content, job actions, or a thing that is important for you to have. Do the ones related to your job/class and ones that unlock new content
- These usually have very little exp/gil as reward and are usually just part of the world/lore expansion. Mostly optional unless you are interested in doing them for the fluff
- These are quests you can do more than once, how often you can repeat it is up to the individual quest.

I ran into a bug in the MSQ ||"Beneath the Surface"|| in which it doesn't progress at all.

I lost connection to the server (likely due to the high traffic) right as I exited the dungeon ||"Anamnesis Anyder"||. Now no matter how many times I do the deungeon the MSQ doesn't change or progress, still; reading "Use the Duty Finder or Trust to enter ||Anamnesis Anyder||". I cannot abandon the quest either

I've requested GM's but none have spoken to me directly and all my inquiries come back as 'Gms are unable to give tips and help with in game content'... But thats not what I'm asking.

I've asked on the subreddit and even put in a bug report on the forums (which I've also gotten no response from).

Please if anyone has any way to contact a GM in a timely matter let me know. It's been 5 days and I have not been able to progress the story at all...

How do I unlock my job?

To unlock your class' job you need to be level 30, complete all of your class quests and the main scenario quest 'Sylph Management' (lvl 20 quest) to be able to pick up your job unlock quest. Once you've done the initial unlock quest, you will be given a soul crystal which you must equip to become your class' job.

i recently switched to ps5, i played this morning and it was all fine, later in the day i went on my ps4, uploaded the backup data's of hud layouts gear sets etc and now on ps5 i downloaded them.
once in game (after 4h queue) the resolution is all wrong and the game is zoomed in a lot, changing between the different display settings doesn't fix the issue.
i would just like to go back on how it was this morning before copying the backup settings from my ps4 account, but there seems not to be a way
