hi, for the grand company levequest Blood in the Water, I was able to get four luminous crytals from the earth sprites that react to the /poke emote and use them on the dirty mongrels to wicked souls. however i was unable to use them to find the wicked souls. I used up all my crystals and when I tried to go to the earth sprites again, the command "the earth sprite does not respond" is shown. I am already at my second try and I am not sure what is wrong?

HI! I usually level Summoner but I wanted to set up my Scholar hotbar/gear so I could swap to Scholar for leveling, but I ran into an issue. It says 'Succor' is an action I have not learned yet, but I'm level 57 and it's a level 35 spell that according to the wiki isn't unlocked by any type of quest, so I SHOULD be able to use it... is there something I'm missing?

To be fair power leveling does exist for alt jobs, but you need to have progressed far enough in the MSQ to make it work, because it's dungeon-dependent, and dungeons unlock with story.

Short answer is no. Longer answer is that each zone and NPC model is created with the lowest system requirements for that expansion in mind. So ARR zones look really low quality because they're basically still a PS3 game, while Stormblood and Shadowbringers look better because they're a PS4 game.

Yeah, not an issue there. If you want to quest together, you can world visit to each others' servers. You can also be on each others' friends lists and party up for instances together.
The only thing you can't do is be in the same free company.

What's up with some people though? I'm a new player and the game is extremely fun but I have a question. I ran into the Brayflox's Longstop dungeon with 3 dudes as part of the MSQ and told them that I'm deeply sorry if I end up making mistakes for being new and I struggle with concentration at the moment. Once we went through the dungeon, they started nagging about what I'm doing wrong. I adjusted to the situation and did everything they told me. Spinning as PLD when enemies are nearby, aggro them towards me but they kept nagging about the same things until the end.
Now here comes my question. Are all people beyond a higher level that easily offended over minor mistakes or is it just a rarity here?
People were cool and all in every dungeon I went before. Is the majority like this or just a minority of the playerbase?

Well, what they told me was using "Total Eclipse" anytime when there are more than one mob around so they aggro me. I did so but they constantly told me "Heard of Total Eclipse before?" "Total Eclipse can't you just see it?" "Perhaps it'd be better if you use Total Eclipse." when I used it like 3 seconds ago.

It really just depends on the people/group. But from my personal experiance as long as you are activley trying to learn most folks are pretty lenient with sprouts... at least on NA. Though moving the boss, not using mitigation, not turning on tank stance, not using your aoe rotation and so on will get less leniancy with people.

it just sounds wierd overall tho. if you were doing your job, keeping gear within 10 levels, having stance on, using aoe and holding aggro and so on, ignore em. Tho be careful with enabling it immediatley, if you arent sync'd down it wont auto shut off and you could end up disabling it on accident.

It could really just be a trolling/grumpy 3 stack tbh. But yea, without logs theres no much anyone could say one way or the other definitively.

in general, the recommended gear button will give the correct result unless your current gear is very out of date. For a tank, prioritizing def/mdef is a pretty safe bet though.
Overall you'll generally be going for ilvl increases where you can get them, though NQ gear is a lot worse than HQ gear of the same quality, so that can be a bit of a factor for leveling gear as well
