In your duty finder window select the ⚙️ icon on the top left to open up the duty finder settings window.
Inside that window select the setting undersized party before confirming and entering the instances of your choice. NOTE: UNSYNC-ING AN INSTANCE WILL FORFEIT ALL OF YOUR EXP AND COMPLETION REWARDS. Poetics from a first time completion bonus and loots chests remain the same and will not be lost. You may not queue for daily roulettes using this method.

What does each skip do?

Tales of Adventure: <EXPACNAME> This item skips the story quests on the character you get it on to the end of the expansion listed. All the main story quests and aether current quests up to that point will be completed. It will not increase your character's job levels. Any MSQ rewards missed can be obtained at the calamity salvager or from the market board except the free fantasia, which is forfeit. You will also receive 10 silver chocobo feathers and 500k gil in platinum pieces.

Tales of Adventure: One <JOBNAME> Journey This item increases a given job to level 70. It will not skip your story progress to level 70. You cannot use this if you've already completed the level 70 job quest for that given job. You will also receive a full set of ilvl400 gear and some accessories as well as 500k gil in platinum pieces.

It's easier to think of the houses as "Small, Medium and Large", but a Mansion would be what you'd call a "Large" house.
They're the most in-demand, because they give you the most space to decorate and live in and are the most prestigous, but in terms of gameplay mechanics you won't get much more than having a medium or small.

Expansion Jobs and How to Unlock Them

Heavensward Expansion Jobs: Dark Knight (Tank), Astrologian (Healer), and Machinist (Ranged DPS). These jobs start at level 30 and require completion of the level 50 main scenario quest 'Before the Dawn'.

Dark Knight - Pillars(13,8).

Both, in the sense that the colour (and accompanying text) tells you if it's angel or demon
