Hi guys, I'm having this issue where my cut scenes where voice acting is definitely present, sound distant/far/echo-y. I've read over 30 different reddit/forum threads on others having this exact issue but none of the "fixes" have been able to help me. The one thing I've seen as a common factor is to set your headphone/headset configuration to stereo from 5.1/7.1. But the thing is when I do the drop-down window for that selection in my configuration, there's only 7.1 as an option. So I think the sound is being set to some sort of surround where it's being played through a non-existent center speaker. If it helps, I'm using a blue yeti mic with wired apple earphones plugged in. The thing is, idk if it's just this scene at the end of 5.5 with Arenvald/Alphinaud, but there was voice acting in the quest with Tiamat last night when I was playing through.
If anyone could help me fix this I'd greatly appreciate it. ❤️

Most of the fights in 1-15 are pretty easy and don't require a lot of high level spells. Mostly just patience. There's one where Dragon's Voice is really useful, but a lot are just like, cc the enemy and use the right type of spell damage.

Nah, not really. There's a couple in the 21-31 that were pretty easy too, but to really cheese them it's helpful to have some of the spells that you need to clear a certain number of rounds to get in the first place like Moon Flute.

If you don't have a friend to kill tagged mobs and power level you, your best option is to find an area that has mobs about 3 levels higher than you, and just go around killing them. Rinse and repeat until 66-ish, when you should find (or make) a group farming the caves in the northeastern part of the Lochs.

DRG is the simplest in my opinion
Monk has a lot of positionals that can be hectic to keep a track of while doing the correct rotation
Ninja is fairly easy to grasp up to level 60 for me, beyond that it gets a little tricky
Samurai is also easy to grasp the rotation of, but is really annoying to get back into the groove if you can't attack the boss for a few seconds
So yeah, DRG > SAM > NIN > MNK in simplicity imo

Samurai is probably harder in rotation execution but you don't have to worry about raid buffs like litany
so overall drg has a simpler rotation aside from aoe (have to refresh disembowel), but you have to pay much more attention to when to use lance charge, litany and sight
