It requires time, patience, I do not recommend it solo but thankfully Eureka is its own pocket dimension community so there is always people to team up with for the most part. Logos was a pain in the a** and can get expensive if you decide to buy your way through.

definitely possible, that's how I did it. Had level 71 vendor gear with whatever crappy melds I could manage
What I would recommend is going to the Teamcraft crafting stimulator, plug in your stats (craftsmanship, control, and CP) and play around with it until you can get a decent result for the level 80 collectible for your class
Then you can have that create an in-game macro that you can use while actually crafting

Honestly, the best way to get into tanking or healing is just to do it. It's not going to get any easier on its own. Low level dungeons and guildhests are extremely forgiving.
For example, as AST you can get through the entirety of Sastasha without casting a single healing GCD

@grand coyote if you still have poetics after buying the weapon, buy the most expensive armor parts you can see (body and pants), those will get you a big boost too

i finally beat it. there was a weird glitch where i used the blink strike to get away from the vacuum attack and it just kept vacuuming me back in. but i beat it. thanks for the tip on buying the ilevel 130 weapon.
