any time you change gear set with different appearance(in your case, one is GNB and one is DRK), the game re-apply the glamour like you done it manually, that feature not working outside of these place so you might see base appearance of the item before glam

Both are proc based. Dancer has a simon says type of situation and is only busy when you have a large amount of procs and are technical stepping really, while bard banks on phases in the forms of song that determine really what you're doing with your skills, in short. I prefer bard because sometimes I find dancer a bit boring because you press one button and wait for a proc a lot of the time till you get to dance, while bard has songs that sort of guarantee that you'll be doign something in those phases for the most part. Plus, bard is more challenging in the sense you have buff windows and dots to keep up

Retainers are item storage, gil banks, and the means to sell on the market board. Hire a retainer from the Retainer Vocate a starting city. You need to progress through the main quests past the third dungeon to get permission to hire retainers. Also do note that trial players can not access retainers.
